“Absolutely disgusted with this company. Will never ever order from them again. Still waiting for my order. They said it’s coming 2nd class from jersey!! I’m in England and so far been 2 weeks!! I now have to get this refund reversed through the fraud team at my bank. I’m not letting this go.

“Be very careful ordering from these guys. I've just requested a refund on two products which clearly showed "In Stock" status when I ordered on 13 Jan. My order confirmation was emailed with a delivery date 2 weeks away, 28 Jan. The next day, an email arrived informing me the delivery date for 2 of my items had been revised to 9 March! I called and was told this was because goods were coming from the US. To her credit, I've just had a call back from April in Customer Services, based in the Philippines, who's confirmed that my refund will reach me within 3 days. However, I could have done without wasting this time and will never order from Health Monthly again. I see similar review below and wish I'd read them first.”
“Wow horrific is an understatement. I ordered weeks ago, called the customer service number 17 times before it was answered, and found out the item is being shipped from the States and will be weeks?! Had I known I would have spent a little more and just got them from another trustworthy company known. I ordered with time to not run out, and now have been without my tablets for three weeks. I had to just buy from the high street anyway, waste of time.”
“Deplorable level of service from this Company, from whom I have been regularly ordering pharmaceuticals for about 4 years. Their delivery arrangements are haphazard, unpredictable and unreliable, with items often late delivered, or, in my latest event, not delivered at all. Having waited over a week for an item to be delivered, I contacted their customer services requesting a refund. My request was declined and I was not offered a replacement. I paid an exorbitant shipping charge of £7.98 which is probably double the cost of UK postage for the single item I ordered.
This is tantamount to fraud. I have escalated this dispute to a formal claim with PayPal, whom I have requested to take whatever steps are necessary to recover the refund to which I am entitled.
I will never use this Company again: it is far easier and less expensive to buy in-store from other suppliers.

“I’m mesmerised with this company and it’s business procedure. I placed a order and the postal costs were astonishing. I gave them a call with little or no help. A month later and out of the blue I receive a email asking me to leave feedback which I did. I have to say it was not positive. Then I received a part refund asking me to remove my feedback. Oh I think we call that bribery. Can you believe that !!! That made the situation even worse hence this review. I’ve also requested a call this Monday to discuss. I may take this further, but let’s see how Monday goes. Please do not deal with this company as you will get stung. I also looked at other reviews and it’s shocking reading”

“Totally disgusted by Health Monthly’s attitude, sold me 2 X Swanson Daily Multi Vitamins and Minerals each containing 250 tablets each, with no warning, highlighting any kind or disclosure shown on the page. When I received the bottles I noticed that the vitamins BEST BY date was 200 days left but 250 tablets in the bottle. The usage said take one capsule once or twice a day. I like most people take their vitamins only once a day. Health Monthly as a chemist think it’s perfectly acceptable to sell expensive products without warning that extend pass the use by date. This was not sold at a major discount in their overstock or clearance sale. It was just on sale for a few pounds less. Totally disgusted in Health Monthly and this is not the first time. They apparently state that freshness is guaranteed if you type their name into a search engine. If this is how chemists take care of us what hope do we have? Please Swanson find another seller, these people are trying to kill us! Their customer service, seem to think it’s okay if I waste time and money returning it for a refund…..of course I have nothing else to do all day except mop up after your mess!!!!!! Not interested in their reply, it took me hounding them for 3 days to get a lame answer.....Totally disgusted!!!”
“I placed an order on the 23rd May. I knew 3 of the items were out of stock but it stated delivery 3rd July. The date came and went. I called them this week (August) as I still didn't have my items. I was told they were (miraculously) being delivered that day or the next and would be sent out straight away. Delivery to Spain in 10 - 12 days. Not an email or call to say the delivery was delayed. As I am going to the UK next week I asked Dean if the delivery could be re routed as it would be quicker to a new address in the UK which at the time I did not have. I got the address and called back the following day. Hung on for 10 minutes and was then cut off. I received a call back and explained about the conversation I had had the day before. I couldn't speak to Dean but the gentleman I did speak to said it was not possible. He chatted to Dean on line who denied all knowledge of the conversation we had. I have witnesses to my first conversation with him. My opinion of the company is obviously very low. An email informing me the goods were not in stock until such and such a date gave me an opportunity to order a smaller supply until these came through. We have now run out of the pills which we have taken daily for 3.5 years. We can only hope the order arrives before we go to the UK or it will be 15 days before we can take them again. Disgusted”
“Plain unacceptable business practice.
A year ago I ordered a product and I had to do the running and checking as the product was still out of stock.
They sit with my money and don't bother to email or update me that it is still out of stock.
I gave them credit as they said they would notify me in future.
Rubbish! They received y money in April and now shows the date has been pushed forward four times with end July possible. NO NOTIFICATION! Never again.
I want my money back and will go elsewhere.
They dont do what they say they will do.”
“They share orders in two separate parcels. Post one part and later claim they posted second part which never arrives They remove also all order from buyer's account so all the evidence should be non existing. I advice to make print screens and to keep all e-mails from them regarding the existing order. I did.”

“When you use this site, you must be aware that they are sending items from abroad. You will only know this, once you have paid for the item and you receive the dispatch notice. I had wrongly assumed I would receive my items within 7 days. Its now been 10 days and I have been by Customer Services that I can expect the items within 4 weeks of dispatch. They also told me to check my letterbox, the local post office and to "stay calm". They told me they would do nothing until at least 4 weeks had passed. I have to wait this long before they will do anything, I don't think so. Luckily I paid by Paypal and I have already started a case against them. This is not what I expected. If I had known that items could take this long and that they were being sent from abroad, I would never have ordered from this abysmal company. Iherb can send items from the USA and have them arrive within 5 working days. I will never order from this company again.”
“My friend ordered some pills for me around £10 worth and was dispatched on the 30 April 2018, and they still have not arrived after 10 days. When you complain they sent you a patronizing email, and when someone does reply they say wait till the 23 May and go to your local PO to checked to see if they are there. Yeah we have time to go miles to the local PO on a whim. 1-3 days they say when he ordered them dont waste your time with these go and walk to H&B and pay a bit extra”
“I had high expectations of HealthMonthly based on the reviews posted on TrustPilot but the service that I received was absolutely dreadful. I should have read the feedback on reviews.co.uk instead for a more accurate picture.
I placed my order on 13th February and I was informed that it was despatched 1 to 2 days later. The anticipated arrival date was given as the 28th February, which I thought was strange given that they appear to be based in a small village called Pontllanfraith, South Wales. In reality its difficult to know where they are located as the telephone number is a Cardiff STD, the business is registered in the Channel Islands, and the company address is in Pontllanfraith, South Wales, with a trading name of Health Monthly, C/O Pack-It??
Their website is very misleading as it states " Dispatched within 24 hours - Monday to Friday" when you are placing the order but it very conveniently does not tell you when it will arrive until you have confirmed it.
The shipment eventually arrived today, 1st March, some 17 days after I placed my order. I now know where they came from and why the shipment took so long as the envelope has a post mark of Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA!!!
The question is why wasn't I informed that my order was coming from the USA and why didn't their customer services inform me of this when I contacted them to establish the whereabouts of the shipment. Instead they tried to fob me off with the following reply;
"Thank you for your email, we are sorry to hear your items has not yet arrived.......... I can see that your order was dispatched within 1-2 working days as per our dispatch promise....... We would urge you to remain patient at this time and check with your local sorting office whether a ‘calling card’ has been left or not. Unfortunately, we have noticed these are not left in all cases even though items are awaiting collection......"
What is particularly annoying is that they tried to blame the postal service for the delay when all along they knew that the shipment was coming from the USA.
No matter how good their products are, or how competitive their prices, I will not be dealing with them again as their UK operation appears to be no more than a mailbox for an overseas operation. I don't mind buying from overseas but I do object to sellers who mislead and are not to be trusted.”
“I used to find Health Monthly very good but now every time I order from them it takes weeks for me to receive the order. Even though it said that the zeaxanthin capsules I ordered were in stock and I got a an email very quickly saying they had dispatched them, I have still not received them. My order was on the 2nd February, I might as well order directly from the USA if I keep having to wait weeks to receive my order.”
“They promise dispatch within 24 hrs. One receives “Stage 2” Mail that says the item will be dispatched weeks later. This time the company is “unable to cancel the order”. Very poor costumer service!”
