“Karl helped me from start to finished and i had to join in chat around 6 times over 1 of the days, i was put through to him again every time and he helped me so much. It only my secind year of dealing with insurance myself and he guided me every inch in order to help me get all documents i needed to verify my insurance with you guys”

“I have only just switched to Hedgehog so don't currently have any experience of their customer service/claims team etc but the online switch was quick and easy and their prices were fantastic.”

“Bella was very helpful however when buying a car on the weekend the robot couldn't answer my questions and I had to wait until Monday to sort. I would recommend weekend access to customer service.”

“Very impressed with Hedgehog. Clearly been built by some very smart people who think a little differently than the rest of the industry - and therefore able to offer a better price (I’m guessing you can calculate risk better than the average insurer). When I saw you had BH as an investor I was sold.”

As we are a fully online based insurer, we don't have an inbound call centre - this way we can keep our prices lower for you, our customer 😁 We definitely get sometimes you just need to talk to someone, even just to double-check something small! 🤳 This is why we have our customer service team available on chat Monday - Friday: 9 am - 5:30 pm. We've also got our helpful chatbot available 24/7 🤖 The Hedgehog Team 🦔

“I learned an important lesson today - if you have a crack in your windshield your insurance will likely automatically feed you to Autoglass- but did you know you may pay less going with a different company and get better service? Ask your insurance company. I’m with Hedgehod and after several phone calls found out I would pay only £50 pounds and have the job done immediately if I went with a different windshield repair company (My Car Glass) or 90 if I went with Autoglass and I’d have to wait 6 days and have no use of my car for 6 days- and I would have to wait all day for the appointment thus missing a day of work- it’s a total scam!! Don’t use Autoglass for windshield repair!! Tell your insurance company to let you choose the company to replace your windshield !!”

“Service would be better if you could actually speak to a person rather than use the online chat. As it is incredibley time consuming and frustrating having to text or type when you have a query and I cannot always get online access. As a result I will not be using their service again. However, the premium was reasonable and as I never made a claim I cannot comment.”
