Uber is too big now and quality customer service isn't their model any more. I had to drivers cancel today I'm finished using Uber ill try another service

I am increasingly frustrated with Uber. Initially, I had a driver who kept my phone, and Uber's response was inadequate. I acknowledge that I left it in the car, but their handling of the situation was disappointing. I tried to move past that incident, but recently, I requested a ride and was informed that my driver would arrive in 11 minutes. As the timer approached 3 minutes, I went outside, only to see the timer jump from 1 minute back to 4 minutes. I waited, watching my driver on the map, who was just sitting a few blocks away. Since I opted for a shared ride, I assumed he might be picking up another passenger, even though the app didn’t indicate that. After waiting without any movement, I messaged the driver to check if everything was alright, but received no reply. After about 8 minutes of inactivity, I decided to cancel the ride, which meant I had to pay for an UberX to avoid being late for work. The UberX cost $6 more, but I had no other option. After booking it, the same driver who had been idling for 15 minutes accepted the new ride. When I asked him why he had not moved, he claimed he didn’t speak English, despite having no accent. I attempted to file a complaint with Uber, but it was nearly impossible to reach a real person; I could only select from a list of options that didn’t address my issue. Although Lyft is typically a bit pricier, I will be choosing them for my rides from now on.

They keep delivering my food to the wrong address, people don't keep the food warm in the special bag, the last order was açai and I only asked for one topping. They pretty much filled my cup with condensed milk. It takes long for Uber support for reply. Uber hasn't done anything to stop people from delivering my orders to the wrong address, to make sure they are reading the notes or that they are keeping my food warm. All talk and no action. It feels like they are taking advantage of me because I'm paying money for this poor service with no solutions to consistent problems.

I requsted a ride and usually if the price is reasonable for me I will book it if its to high I will not to save money and now I have been noticing they have been pulling more money out of my account and to me this is just unacceptable. If this is there new method of taking peoples hard earned money in such an unethicle way, its very dissapointing.

I chose the wait and save option and my fare said R90. When i got home i saw i was charged R115. What is the use of wait and save if you going to overcharge me ?????!!!!

I have had the worst experience with uber for almost 2 weeks now. They have been over charging more than double and keep saying there is nothing wrong with the charges but when I request the trip they give a different price. I have sent them ALL the evidence and still they say there is nothing wrong with the charges. To top it all off they threaten to deactivate my account if I keep disputing. I wouldn’t need to dispute anything if the charges doesn’t keep changing! The customer service agents are all BOTS sending the same automated messages! No one even escalated my issue. The money they overcharge me is the rest of the months travelling fare.

I am extremely disappointed with Uber’s customer support, especially my experience with Sesethu. She initially assured me that I would receive a full refund, only to later claim it was a "miscommunication" and refund just $10. After countless requests for clarification, she marked my issue as resolved without actually addressing my concerns. This is unacceptable, and it feels like Uber is not valuing its customers. I expected better transparency and accountability.

Uber for some reason, will charge you for unnecessary fees after you are dropped off at destination. It’s been a few times their GPS is not accurate and customers still gets charged extra because the driver can only go off on what the uber shows them. Uber customer service is not professional and they will not handle any issues you have. Whenever you make a complaint about anything, they asked to show proof and then will give you the same responses. I asked that all customers please be mindful of uber they can be a hassle at times and Also, they will charge you full fee but only pays the drivers NOT EVEN HALF of what was charged. Please we have to do better

Customer support is shockingly bad. If I could give zero stars I would. Needs investigating. Their support only read off a script, they can’t and won’t help at all. Useless

I was charged $16 for a trip today but when I took the same trip immediately in reverse, I was charged $10!! Definitely unsatisfactory and I have already tried to get satisfaction by complaining but got no where!!

Very bad experience. Waiting time was total 45 minutes and still couldn’t get cab. Drivers were not responding on call. No clear waiting time. 5 minutes+7 minutes+ 5 minutes and the waiting time is going on. Worst experience. At least there should be some clarity about the timing. There is no value of time at all. I will not use uber again.

I never got paid for the hourly delivery promotion. Support kept transferring me to other departments with no resolution. I uploaded proof via screenshots in the app, no resolution. Now they are no longer taking phone calls. Chat support told me I did receive the pay. It obviously shows I did not. I signed up for 3 hourly delivery promotions from 8 am-4:58 pm (8 hours +)and only received 3 hours pay.

I entered in the address where I wanted to be picked up and it changed it to somewhere else in the app and then the driver canceled my ride after I tried to call him and text him to correct the mishap in the app. A proceeded to drive past me three times ignoring me and then cancel my ride without ever responding to any of my communication attempts. I believe it wasn't the right car and it wasn't the right person that was driving the vehicle, also the windows had a very dark tint and temporary tags. It looked very suspicious and why would you pass me three times seeing that I'm waving my arms to get your attention to stop the vehicle which he was going pretty fast in a residential area. And I can't even get anybody to talk to live nor through chat can anybody text live because everything is AI nowadays and you have to wait to get a response which is ridiculous and I will never use Uber again.

If I can give zero stars, I would. I was overcharged for a lost item fee, yet I never lost an item. Everytime I try to talk to someone, I keep getting redirected to someone else. They are lazy as hell, and jussy passed the buck around. Worst customer service ever.

I would have given it zero stars but since that wasn’t an option I gave it a one star. I placed an order with Sephora which the UberDriver picked up. When he arrived, he held my package, snapped a picture and literally left with my Sephora order but left his chick fila soda at my door. I contacted Uber and each person I spoke to was absolutely horrendous. Unprofessional, disrespectful, disinterested with a nonchalant attitude. I wanted the driver to be held accountable so that it doesn’t happen to other people but they didn’t care. They must not care about theft.
