“The dress is very beautiful and it has a great quality, really liking the material, so I‘m happy with it! One thing I‘d like to critizise is the high prize for shipping and that there was no information about the custom duties which were really expensive!! All together I paid nearly 100€ for one dress….”

Please note that HER Empire is NOT responsible for covering these costs. - Shipments may be subject to import taxes, duties and customs fees that are levied once the package reaches the country of destination, and are the responsibility of the recipient. This shipping information is accessible to all customers prior to placing an order with us so we do try our best to inform customers there may be additional charges. These customs charges, unfortunately, vary from country to country so we don't have much control or information on these as it differs depending on each order value and delivery destination etc. However, we completely understand your feedback and feel terrible you experienced this! We do hope we can improve our services in the future as we grow to hopefully help with shipping costs the future for our international customers in Canada and Europe, especially who seem to be most impacted by these additional customs charges. “I ordered 2 dresses for a friends bridal shower and rehearsal dinner and when I say I am IN LOVE with one of the dresses, I mean it. I am obsessed with it and am so excited to wear it!! “Such a good experience! I bought the Tara dress! It is absolute adorable! I do wish it had adjustable straps as I had to sew the straps shorter, but I got express shipping & it came the next day!!!”

“I reached out to customer care because the dress I received was completely off the measurements guide and the top half of the dress the sides came out to my arms rather then just covering the chest area. I was told that the dress isn’t faulty and I should chat to them next time to check ‘correct measurements’ like it was my fault. The waist tie also doesn’t stay like it does in the picture once you’ve tied it because it’s sheer material it just bunches up.”

We are so sorry to hear you are unhappy with your purchase. We do make sure all customer complaints are fairly assessed. Unfortunately this came down to an incorrect fit return rather than eligible for a faulty return. We do state that measurements on the sizing guide are to be treated as a guide only as sizing can vary style to style due to different dress shapes and materials used. We do also state the style to be a larger fit on the product page and to size down for this style. We definitely are not implying this is the customer's fault but we do encourage customers to reach out prior to placing an order if unsure of sizing as this significantly reduces the risk of needing to return. We hope to improve our services in the future and are very sorry again for any inconvenience caused.
