“There’s no doubt that these are exceptional shoes for a) slightly wacky people and b) for those with any kind of foot problem: bunions, weird toes, wide flipper-like feet etc. I belong to both categories. I bought my first pair when recovering from a ripped Achilles’ tendon and I needed shoes that were completely and totally comfortable. Since then I have bought three more pairs and am now a Hey Dude Shoes foot fetishist. They’re not quite 100% brilliant because the stitching isn’t perfect and the threads on two pairs wave about. But hey dude, you can’t have everything.”

Hey Alasdair! We are happy that you love the shoes. Some styles are made to weather to a rugged look. We know its not for everyone so if your not a fan, you can trim any wild threads to make them revert to a smarter appearance. “I always buy the Farty mens for my bro in law who loves them and literally wears them to death - he has 3 pairs now in various states and I can't prize any off him to recycle! I have a pair of the womans what were called workboots as we live in the country and wear them most days - I was a bit disappointed that the sole came away from the upper - but put off by having to pay for returns I have gorilla glued them back together - they are comfy and warm. I just bought a pair for my sister so I await her verdict. (Bro in law also has a pair and loves them in the winter)”

“These shoes are very comfortable and lightweight.my shoes are great However my husband finds that the heel on the back of his shoes are not quite high enough. I bought him heel grips to sort this out. Very good delivery time. Thank you.”
