Hotel room was fine, transport to and from airport good but the restaurant was terrible poor service and food was luke warm and small portions, I would normally have sent it back but I waited so long I was so hungry I ate it wouldn’t re book this hotel

The transfer back to the hotel after our holiday did not arrive. We waited for nearly an hour and had to get a taxi

The transfer company had really old and a bit smelly cars. We have used Holiday Extras for transfers before and it was excellent but this time it was a bit rank. Not sure I’d risk it again.

Parking experience fine at the start of the holiday. Unfortunately we arrived back at T4 (departed from T5) and were not aware that the car park does not service T4. We tried calling the support telephone number but couldn’t get a response, despite it being daytime. After much dragging of bags around trying to find a bus stop, or someone who could tell us where it was, we ended up having to pay over £20 for a taxi to get back to the car park. The response from the car park reception was just a big shrug.

I have booked through you before with 'one night stay and long stay parking' but this time the parking was not at the hotel as it had been before ,but Long stay carpark at airport!! It was not obvious when I booked, and was a real inconvenience and quite unsafe, as you have to walk back to the hotel on a narrow road with no pavement with all your bags!! As a retired person on her own, it was very inconvenient.

I’ve used holiday extras before without an issue, always a great experience. Unfortunately on this occasion is was very poor. Our airport transfer that was predicted to be approx 1.5hrs ended up being almost 3hrs. The driver has no idea where he was going, drove past several of the drop offs, did several detours to various drop offs, was rude and verbally aggressive to myself and when we did arrive at our hotel dropped us on the main road which we had to cross (there was ample room for a coach outside the hotel). As a result we opted to get a private transfer on our return to the airport. I have since contacted Holiday Extras to raise this issue and have had zero response. I believe we just had an unfortunate experience as all previous experiences have been without fault. However my disappointment is with the poor customer service and communication with holiday Extras.

Dreadful hotel booked family room it was tiny on arrival only one bed they blamed holiday extra. Put bed in just left it I had to rearrange furniture. An absolute joke

On arrival the anpr barrier wouldn’t lift so rang the buzzer to find a very unhelpful lady at the other end telling me that the number plate wasn’t recognised I gave her the booing reference and after quite a wait she came back to us with a very off voice to say she’d found it and said we’d probably have to do the same on the way out as there was nothing she could do So I then proceeded to do a live chat to put in a complaint to where I was told it should all be sorted on our return only to drive up to the barrier for it not to lift so had go go through all the messing again this time the lady was very helpful but still had to wait for the barrier to be lifted and having paid just under a £100 for 7 nights I feel is unacceptable as we was only there around 6 weeks before in the same car park in the same car with the same registration number and paid considerably less

The car park has been moved, but sat nav alterations not publicised; signage is inadequate; it is a long, uphill walk to the terminal; the barrier did not open to let me out, and the first person to answer the intercom did nothing other than to say that I had to pay a further fee( I was within my pre-paid booking.) Only when I called back, and spoke to another member of staff, and quoted my booking reference, was the barrier raised to let me out.

First room no hot tap working no soap shampoo Second room offered was already occupied Third room ok but excess noise from departing aircraft at end of runway

It's hard to mess up parking and therefore difficult to score well if something small happens. I couldn't get through the barrier at either side of the stay, despite all my details being correct. I had to give all my details to the attendant who seemed clueless. Apparently my details weren't registered on the system. Despite them all being on my booking on the app

Car park Gvirtually full,resulting in what was described as 4 minutes walk being nearer 20minutes after driving round more than 5minutes trying to find a parking space!!!

Would normally give this a 5 star rating, however on this occasion we experienced problems with shuttle transfer. We were directed to Disability Parking, specifically for our needs, realising that we would not get a Disabled bay as it’s on a first come basis, which is fine, but upon parking in a Bay and taking note of where we had parked, We walked to the bus stop where a sign said Buses will not be picking up from this stop, and informed us to move car to open zone H car park. If the correct signage had been displayed this would not have been a problem

Arrival was good & easy. Returned however, to find my car pretty dusty and covered in bird poo. And the handbrake wasn't engaged! Thankfully it didn't roll into any other car in the parking lot.

The room was very cold. Was told the heating was switched off for the summer. On my return my car was covered in sap and dirt from nearby trees. Fortunately I had some wipes to clean the glass. Took 10 mins to clear.

On return car was parked on an upper floor level to where it stated it would be parked. We were just told to go and find it and that our car would be somewhere to the right on the floor above, which in a car park of that size was not very reassuring! When I asked if someone would show me they said no "you'll find it yourself"?! We did, but had to walk around clicking the central locking to try and locate it. Not very convinced / reassured with this company.

Going out ok on return dropped of at bus stop at 12 30am dark raining no directions from.bus stop to parking areas after walking for half hour went back to bus stop pressed the intercom button to speak to someone but they didn’t have a clue and they said wait for the next bus and ask the bus driver he did help
