No way to communicate re order placed 4 April - even telephone no was unobtainable from site details & 4 emails were not considered, just usual standard reply. Homebase contacted me over 2 months later from nearby branch to collect as no delivery date could be offered I'm elderly which is the reason for delivery but was forced to collect. The only saving grace was the brilliant staff/manager in Frome that helped me to carry purchase to car, other wise I would give no stars. Never again will I shop at Homebase, awful company

If possible I wouldn't give any stars!!!! Ordered wallpaper, paste and a pasting table at the end of March. I had an email to say my order was processed on 29 March and delivery would be delayed by a few days. It's now 6 June!!! No delivery, no reply to any of my emails asking when I could expect delivery or latterly to cancel delivery and refund my money which is over £100 with delivery. Absolutely disgusted, Do not buy on line!!!!!

This company should not be selling online; they do not have the infrastructure to support online trading. I placed an order on 1st April and am still trying to chase my refund 2 months later. They only delivered half my order and I have been unable to get the rest of the products / or a refund. The customer service has been awful. The only way of contacting them is through email and they are awful at responding. For my first few emails they took on average 7-10 days to respond. They have now stopped responding all together. On April 30th I was told that my refund would be processed within 7 working days but I have still not received it 6 weeks later. They are now willfully ignoring my messages when I ask for an update on the status of my order. I now need to go through my credit card company to get my money back

Seriously is anybody on the phones at customer services ???as rang every day this week and been waiting over an hour,I’m currently on the phone now and still can’t get through just after 9am ,what a joke

I ordered a lawn mower at end of March. Money taken within 2 days. Still no delivery. I note when the stores opened that there were 50+ of these at stores near me but I must wait for my delivery. I suspect there is more to this. I have had the same reply weekly for 6 weeks...it will be with you in the next few days!!

Rubbish will never ever shop online with them again! After weeks of begging for my money to be refunded as my furniture was still not delivered they told me they were waiting for their supplier to cancel my order...I paid Homebase not their supplier, absolutely shocking customer care! Avoid at all costs!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. ordered click and collect for 4 items, got email order was ready drove for an 1 hour 30 mins, only 1 item there to collect, complained they should have emailed or phoned saying only 1 item in stock as i would not have travelled that far for 1 item, staff said not there problem, shocking reply from staff!

I was after a rattan sofa & the Sevenoaks store kindly sent me in the direction of the sittingbourne retail park branch. I called up & after phoning many stores this is the 1st that answered the lady’s name was Roz she was so friendly & helpful. Upon arrival I was greeted by Jolanda who couldn’t have been more helpful she assisted me to my car used her common sense & got the items in my car for me along with a guy called Ryan (2) they are lovely. Shame I don’t live nearer as that store was a real pleasure to be in all the staff were happy, friendly & most importantly helpful.

Order taken online over 5 weeks ago and not yet delivered. Customer service phone lines never answered. Numerous e-mails requesting cancellation and refund ignored without reply. Homebase simply do not deserve customers and sadly, due to the entirely obvious disinterest they have consistently shown, I hope they will go bust.

Ordered twice since the end of March, first time I ordered I was told 3 week's for delivery. I emailed after 3 and a half week's querying where my order was, no reply to email but order came a few day's later. I ordered again from them as the item's I wanted were out of stock everywhere else, was told online would be 3 week's for delivery, received my order after 3 or 4 day's! Didn't receive an email or update, but I'm very happy to receive my order so quickly.

I have a problem with an internet order received just prior to lockdown. I ordered three matching doors and one is very obviously a faded display model giving it a different colour. Still not resolved. At first I received responses to emails then despite repeat emails - nothing. Phone numbers listed on website are not in operation. Leave your number and we'll call you back is also not working. I called the Home Delivery number and was held in a queue for over two hours with the repeated message - We know you are waiting, we'll be with you as soon as we can - and then being offered the callback service which is not working. After two hours and six minutes I had to hang up without getting anywhere. Homebase - this is a failure of customer service. Buyer beware.

FREE ADVICE-DONT WASTE YOUR TIME I ordered various types of paint on 6th April to keep the dutchess happy due to COVID19 and being furloughed. 4 items (for inside use) had a 30 day delivery which wasnt an issue. 2 fence paint products also purchased were advertised with a 2-3 day arrival but was informed it may be slightly longer due to COVID19-totally acceptable and wasnt an issue. The fact that the 4 indoor products arrived on 2 deliveries 2 and 3 weeks after the order was placed wasnt an issue,within what i was told. It is now 7 weeks and 4 days since the order was placed and i still have no fence paint that i have payed for when ordered. The customer service is near none existant. No telephone number contact just email. If you are lucky enough to get a reply its generic,even when they send you a link to a complaints/cancel order form,which does send a recieved confirmation email, nothing happens, no contact with the progress, nothing. I have had to contact my bank(as others have done on other reviews on Homebase on various review sites) to try and get my money back for my 2 products undelivered and from such a poor customer experience, i dont want them now and will never use or reccommend them in future. Nil or minus star rating not doable so unfortunately had to give 1 star.

I am absolutely disgusted with this company. I received an email saying my order was boxed and ready to go and it would be delivered in 10 days time. That was 21 days ago and I have received nothing. I phoned yesterday and they couldn't tell me where my order was but they would find out and let me know by today. I have tried to phone them today but when I put my phone number in (the one they phoned me on yesterday) they are saying it is not a recognised UK phone number. I would never use Homebase again and I will make sure that everyone knows how bad they are.

I placed the order on 2nd of April, I requested a refund month later, got a reply 2 weeks after saying order is out for delivery-can not cancel now...they advised to refuse delivery so refund can be processed. 29th of May still no money on my account, no confirmation of refund being processed. Shameless company, will never shop with them again. I just want my money back.

Ordered 21 piece garden set 21st May .Homebase keeped me in touch with my order progress right upto my delivery date 28th May . Cannot fault . Thanks
