“After 10 days and very little wear around the house the soles of both shoes split and crumbled, they are really comfortable shoes but half the heel has crumbled away so I am unable go wear them, they're going in the bin tomorrow and will NOT be buying Hotters again and would not recommend them to anyone, I'll stick with Clarkes, a better quality shoe”

“Very poor dismissive customer service in Harrogate branch ( blonde middleaged assistant) She asked if shoes had been worn outside and then said she couldn't do anything as they could not be sold again. It was her couldn't care less attitude. I usually buy 3 pairs of shoes or boots a year but will not be buying again.”

“Out of five pairs of shoes owned by my wife and myself the soles have just disintergrated. One pair of my wifes had only been worn twice and was about six months old”

“Ordered my sandals end of January for my holidays next week. Delivery should be 3-5 days. The new despatch date I have is 10 April maybe that should have been 3 -5 months”

“My Daisy shoes have just arrived. They are everything they are claimed to be. Very comfortable, plenty of space around my toes, roomy around the top edge without being sloppy and don't move about when I walk. The leather is very soft and they feel like gloves. I shall certainly consider Hotter when I buy shoes in future. Thank you so much!”

“I Love love love my Hotter shoes. I wear a 9 1/2, not a 9 and not a 10. And these shoes are true to size. Extremely comfortable and stylish too. I bought several pairs.”

“I have a hard time finding shoes I like and are comfortable. I wear closed toe all the time. When I happen to see a Hotter brochure I was so happy to see more than one pair that I liked. I ordered 7 pair! 40% off. Only took 8 days to get. From the U.K. To Cali. I love them all.”

“Ordered 4 pairs, but did not get the discount ($100). Called customer service and was told to mail back the shoes and reorder at the discount. Love the shoes I already have.”

“These are the BEST!! I've ordered 3 pairs of shoes from this company and all 3 arrived exactly in the time period described (to the US) and are soooo comfortable they have literally saved my problem feet! I called to ask some questions about the different shoes and customer service was quick to answer, informative and just lovely! I don't ever want to buy shoes any place else”

“After digging out stuck cars in 12+ inches of snow on the way home from business in upstate NY, my son was sure his favorite "Hastings" were ruined. After brushing off the dried salt and mud and using leather cleaner, they look like new! Why we are a "Hotter" family. Thanks !”

“Good shoes lousy service. Brochure offering discount arrived through my door. Tried to order a pair of shoes at discounted rate but Hotter's policy is to allow the discount to new customers only thereby discriminating against loyal customers. How do they stay in business with this kind of behaviour and all the shocking reviews they receive with no intention of improving their service it seems.”

“The sole of my boots completely crumbled away on my first wearing. These boots, called Boogie, were not cheap. How does this company get away with such shoddy goods at such exorbitant prices. Don't ever buy them!”

“Went into HOTTER Cheltenham saw shoes I wanted sale price and 20 percent off. Did not have my size the shop assistant told me to phone hotter and I could purchase them or order on line. Could not get the same price on line so I phoned. The shoes were more expensive when I tried to order them on the phone and the woman said that you get different offers in the shop. She wasn't interested that the wrong information had been given out by the shop assistant and refused to sell the shoes at the same price. What a load of cobblers!,”

“I bought a pair several months ago, and it took longer than it should have to arrive. Called Customer Service, who sent out another pair. Those arrived quickly (don't know what happened to the original pair). Didn't like the color so returned the shoes and got a speedy refund. Recently ordered another pair and am quite happy with these. So, on balance, my experience with Hotter has been good.”

“I have a pair of sandals that are very comfy and stylish, so I bought a pair of County boots in tan leather. I loved the look of them, but when they arrived, they were a bit stiff. However, after wearing them for two days, they are as comfortable as the sandals. I am perfectly satisfied with them. I have wide feet. so Hotter shoes are perfect for me.”

“Boots fell to pieces on my way shopping had to get a taxi home in my stocking feet clutching disintegrating boots ,have 2 brand new pairs upstairs bought for me as presents but terrified to wear them,can I get a refund for them ???”

“Really terrible customer service. They don't tell you when something is out of stock and won't be replenished, even though the site claims it it still available. They didn't give me accurate tracking information (I'm waiting to see if my order shipped at all, even though they said it did). It's almost as bad as filing a claim with the post office. This is the last order I will ever place with them.”
