Four times now in the last few weeks we have had Deliveroo drivers knock on our door with a delivery, WHEN WE HAVEN'T ORDERED ANYTHING. We have nothing to do with Deliveroo and have never used them. If we have another Deliveroo driver knocking on our door again, we will be contacting the police.

Crooked rubbish abusive deceiving horrible management.. they think that people have nothing to do but keep asking them to right positive reviews about them and their delivery drivers,,after tipping their driver in cash then by card using their app they contact you the next day asking you to tip their drivers again and again. I’m disabled and had a very long hard difficult day moving home then I used them to get food delivery the kept on sending texts asking me to tip them again and again good damn your rotten services

Food wasn’t delivered, Deliveroo wouldn’t refund or even discuss the issue. They fob you off for a few days then tell you the refund can’t be made. We’ll never use them again.

I must be a fool because I gave Deliveroo another chance. They are woefully incompetent. If things go wrong they stay wrong. They are incapable of sorting out their own problems. It is a mystery to me how such an utterly useless company manages to stay in business. Beyond terrible.

As i am a regular customer of Deliveroo , I invite you to collect the pitiful bunch of flowers and see the poor state of them. For ten pounds it is despicable, as i pointed out i have purchased these before as was going to be a regular thing. I will now discontinue the use of this site as my complaint has clearly been disregarded and will now be looking to address this matter further with senior management, trade descriptions as well as the ombudsman i suggest others do the same. As a carer i do not have excessive funds to throw away on inferior products.

Easily one of my most hated companies. I hate them so much I deleted the app. But I am too I’ll to leave the house so decided to make a one-off order. 2.5 hours later and 3 orders later and still no sign of my food.

I ordered at 12:30 and now it is 2:45 and my order didn't yet arrive! I order kids food which doesn't take more than 15 min. There is no customer service, there is no way to follow up the order status and the app keeps on increasing the delivery time. Not acceptable at all. The worst delivery app I have ever used! NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

Do not oder from Deliveroo! If you complain because the food you ordered is stone cold and needs to be reheated to avoid food poisoning, you might as well not bother. The “compensation” you get is next to nothing. I ordered for over £40 and got £9 back as a compensation.

I found a piece of sharp metal wire in my food. I reported it to Deliveroo, and while they said they would investigate, they also told me “we cannot provide you with a refund at this time.” I asked them again much later, and they said the same again - presumably the “investigation” would have been concluded at that point. They actually didn’t seem to be aware that I ever even reported in the first place. The restaurant itself even told me personally that I should get a refund and held their hands up to the error, but without deliveroo they could not issue it. Deliveroo never gave me any reason for the lack of refund. To reiterate - I found a piece of sharp metal wire (from a grill brush, most likely) in my food. It was in my mouth when I found it. It could have caused serious internal injury, and they just did not care. I provided photographic evidence and everything. Because they didn’t give me a reason, I can only assume they wouldn’t refund me because I had had another recent refund for some undercooked food. It looks like if you have one issue with a restaurant, it invalidates any issues you might have soon after that. But I order a lot, so it’s not surprising that eventually I would have two issues close together. I’m sure they claim to care a lot about customer health and safety, but the reality is they just don’t. I was met with cold indifference at every stage of the procedure, by every person who spoke to me. Nobody engaged with the issue, and it looks like they didn’t even file a report or do an investigation, or even contact the restaurant. This wasn’t an issue of food quality or anything trivial - it was something that could have put me in the hospital. So, since I have absolutely no recourse within their customer service system, all I have left to do is share my experience publically, cancel my Deliveroo Plus membership and delete my account, presumably costing them much more in future revenue from me than the refund ever would have cost them. A shame, as I used the app multiple times every week, but thankfully there are alternative services.

Delivery driver for Deliveroo rung me and asked for pin code, I gave it to him and said I would call my uncle and let him know it was at the door, in a matter of 2mins he went to the door and no delivery, won't be compensated as he was given the code, which they say is given when delivered, can't believe it, don't take the delivery drivers word, haven't got money to throw away. Never using again. Thanks Marta/deliveroo for a non delivery with payment taken.

I had a problem with their delivery. They left with my order of £22.49 claiming they place a call which I didn't receive. They had the option of leaving my delivery since they have a no refund policy but they didn't. Worst company and policy ever!

i used deliveroo france, and customer service is sucks and i never received my orders they said they leave it in front of my door, but it never shown. i feel like being scammed by the drivers.

Took my order at 21:25 noting it would be delivered by 21:50 and then called me at 22:40 to say the restaurant was closed and order was cancelled.

The most appalling customer service. If ever anything goes wrong with your order good luck trying to get a refund. I ordered a large takeaway and the driver left most of it at the restaurant, only delivering a few fries. When I contacted deliveroo support they told me it would take up to 50mins for the rest of my order to arrive, by which time what had been delivered of it would be unappetising. They offered a partial refund, not recognising that when you order a meal you expect to eat it as a meal at the same time not hours apart, and therefore the order had not been fulfilled. Customer service were unhelpful, kept leaving the chat, and despite recognising I was right stating company policy wouldn't allow them to refund me what I paid. Avoid deliveroo at all costs. For those restaurants considering working with them, take a look at all the bad reviews on here and imagine what all those incomplete orders could do to your reputation.

On 15th Aug, I made an order (#7356). The delivery arrived at 19.37 yet it was someone elese's order (diff order number)! The driver apologised and took it back to the shop. I was not made aware at the time - but the order was re-ordered and arrived 30min later (Order #4559). Receiving after 8pm was unhelpful for me. The order was effectively 30min late yet, after requesting repeatedly on the chat for compensation, i was repeatedly told that ''compensation'' had been given in the form of a ''re-delivery''.That's not compensation; that's my order 30min late! Deliveroo refund/compensate for 30min late orders, so why should this be any different? I made a formal complaint and it was rejected - but, again, no reasoning was provided!

Absolutely abysmal service from Deliveroo last night. Ordered wagamamas which is within 8 min drive of us. Watched the delivery driver go the wrong way on the map, then got a call from customer service saying he couldn’t find us, we explained we can see him on the map and he’s gone the wrong way. We then spent half an hour on the phone with him telling him the TWO directions to get to us, just 2 roads. Directions were ‘go back to wagamamas where you picked up the food, and at the roundabout take the exit with the huge signs for Taylor wimpeys’ he kept not saying anything / going down random roads - he had the map showing him the route to us!?!? He was rude to us saying we were ruining his evening and then HUNG UP! ‘Order help’ and ‘customer help’ buttons on the app don’t work!! You can click them but they don’t take you anywhere - absolutely ridiculous. Sat on hold with customer service number but didn’t get through so we were literally sat having no idea where our food was. Got a call 20 mins later saying he was outside - he wasn’t - we could see on the map he wasn’t, we said he was on the road but he clearly needed to go another few hundred metres forward, he said no he didn’t. In the end we had to walk 5 minutes to collect our food. He then had a go at us saying we had ruined his evening! Absolutely disgusting. Food was an hour late, cold, and an entire meal was missing - wagamamas was shut by this time so I didn’t get my food. Deliveroo are refusing to refund us the whole order amount. We didn’t get food delivered - we had to go and get our food. Not only that, the food took over an hour to get to us when it’s under 8 minutes drive away, we were verbally abused by the delivery driver, had cold food (or none in my case as my meal was missing) Horrendous service, won’t be using Deliveroo again.

This is the worst food delivery app. Ordered food which never got delivered. After calling to the customer service several times they mentioned it was delivered to the wrong customer. I didnt even get my refund back ! Looks like deliveroo is in scams now !

A BUNCH IF THIEVES!!! I placed my order for Nando’s when the food was out for delivery we got a message from the rider to come out as he couldn’t find our house so my husband went out to look for him and he was on a different road when my husband found him he said he didn’t have our food and just rode here to get his £3 for Deliveroo and that someone else picked our order up. So he told my husband to contact Deliveroo and said he will also contact them but needs the code to do so aswel so my husband gave him the code. We then contacted Deliveroo to be told as the code has been given this confirms the order has been delivered so they will not offer a refund/re delivery or credit. Will never ever use them again!!
