I tried to order-a gift for my husband, ( fresh morning pastries delivered to his door), but the Deliveroo system blocked it because I am in California. It is one am in California and i have been up for an hour trying to explain i have a valid order. Deliveroo supervisor just said its fraud control. Better fraud control would be to confirm a suspicious transaction and once ok release it, not waste people’s time and not resolve a simple issue. Also we have pointed out twice that the town associated with my mother in laws house in Wokingham is incorrect, and has still not been fixed. Three tries and still no successful orders/deliveries from deliveroo.

Ordered food with an expected delivery time of an hour. Delivery time was constantly postponed. After 2 hours the driver contacts me, trying to trick me into giving him my order code. Stating he was at my front door. I told him that he wasn't as I was at my front door. Standing outside, I try to explain to him over 15 mins on the phone where to find the delivery address. He becomes straight out cheeky towards me. I then contact Deliveroo customer service who contacts the driver. They offer re-delivery in about 50 mins or a refund over the order value which is ridiculous seeing that I can now start making food arrangements at 10 PM in the evening in Australia where kitchens are closed at this time on the Coast. I have an 8 yo child that has been waiting a total of 2.5 hours for food at this stage and I can start preparing something in house now. Beyond annoying.

They took over 3 hours to assign a driver and then on top of that delivered my food to the wrong house. Complete Joke and uneducated drivers who cannot read.

I ordered 14 items - only received 6. They refused to refund me for 3 of the missing items. I had to pay around £4 for delivery and service charges for products I couldn't use to make a meal. What a waste of time and money. A very expensive shop.

Waited 2 hours food not coming delivered elsewhere. Even after we spoke to the driver. So cross he did not deserve a job.

We have used them twice. NEVER again. The first time the food was 45 minutes late and cold. Second time, part of the order went missing! Both deliveries were from restaurants we have visited in person and can vouch for their quality. We would award Deliveroo zero stars if we could.

I finally deleted my account with Deliveroo after constantly having problems ordering. One minute I can place an order and then the next I am unable to and it keeps saying payment declined. This has happened numerous times and each time I reach out to Deliveroo I am having to wait for the account team to contact me in 48 hours and sometimes it takes longer than that for them to contact me back. After I am told that the problem is resolved and I can order again which after a while I can but then all of a sudden the same problem happens and this has happened four times now. Not worth the hassle when there is other apps. Deliveroo really need to sort themselves out. They really need to sort themselves out. Worst delivery service ever.

Awful service. I ordered food for the family as I was tired and not able to cook. Food never arrived, family went hungry. When I called customer support lady on other side cheerfully said “we will credit your money when you use deliveroo again”. Absolutely no remorse that because of them we didn’t get dinner at the right time. I then wrote an email to customer service and have had no response for 2 days. I will never use them again.

Deliveroo steal money from customers. I got an order from Waitrose through Deliveroo a few days ago. 4 items were completely missing and 2 were wrong. When I tried to get a refund for the missing items I was denied. I've since been denied 6 times and they refuse to even tell me on what basis I am being denied the refund. This is theft and they are breaking their co tract under the common law agreement. I've contacted Trading Standards, Watch Dog and CAB regarding this and I think someone needs to investigate this a lot further.

I have just downloaded the app last night. I made and ordered waited for 2 hours, then I received a call from an awful delivery driver that couldn't find my address, and he kept calling me bro , bro. I wasted plenty of time while i had justeat app that I use all the time and never had such a problem, always food on time and perfect drivers. I will never use deliveroo again ever. Saty away justeat is way cheaper.

3miles in 1 hour! So we have tried to persevere with Deliveroo when ordering from our local Pizza Express but the last attempt was the last straw.. We ordered an uncomplicated two pizza delivery on a Thursday evening with the usual Deliveroo promise that food would be with us 30 mins later. This started to creep later and later and so i checked the riders location. Seemingly he stopped for a long time near to another restaurant after collecting our food!! When the food finally arrived it was stone cold. On checking the receipt it said the rider collected the food an hour before dropping it at the door. Complaints to Deliveroo with a request to understand why this is allowed, has elicited a paltry voucher that means I need to give them more of my money to redeem it. Awful delivery service and even worse customer care. Avoid

Why is it I make an order on the deliveroo app and then 10 minutes later make another order on the just eat app from the same store and the just eat order comes in half an hour earlier

2 order placed in same day , same restaurant same item none of them delivered even if it was marked as delivered. on first one the delivery partner didn't t speak english when i tried to contact her so she decided instead of coming out from car and deliver she just bin the item. second one didn't t even make it to the door but marked it as deliver. customer service awful and rude. never again order with them . one star is way too much

I have been waiting 2 hours half for an order to be delivered and they offered compensation 4.10 pounds. Costumer advisor says will add another 5 but nothing on my account. Complaint two times via chat and nothing

Yet again another night in with the family ruined! I get it, its only fast food but really??? I have to say you have totally lost your way as a business. We have had several terrible experiences but stupidly held the faith that maybe we were just unlucky. Yet again, 2 hours wait for cold food, wrong order, missing items and item we didn’t even order and food that had just been thrown upside-down into a bag mixing together and loose. Absolute joke!! We won’t be using you again EVER! Try thinking of your customers before to take on more than you can clearly handle! Waste of money and feel ripped off! zero stars

always get your order wrong either missing items or things you didnt order then you contact customer service and they tell you they cant do anything about it waste of time and money DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

2 deliveries that didn't come, needed to cancel and my get money refunded, no offer of vouchers etc. Just said that the money was refunded, in their eyes " no harm no foul".
