“You are literally paying for the name and not the quality! You think when you spend hard earned money on something- it would last but it turns faulty and the response from customer service is shocking - talkin about to going to the ends of the world to prove you purchased the item (till receipt, time, date, location of purchass, paid cash / card, bank statement proof) ! I spent more on Asian dresses which are far more expensive and of better quality - no issues and if there was I am find the people look after you. Not Hugo boss!!”
“I have attempted to contact Hugo Boss regarding two products purchased from one of their factory outlet stores that had a no refund policy, which didn’t appear anywhere except on the sales slip. The first product’s size was miss marked and the second product, which I only purchased because I couldn’t get a refund for the first product, shrank in the waist after the first washing beyond any pair of jeans I’ve ever owned. I contacted the customer service phone number and was informed my concerns would have to be addressed by corporate. I then filed my complaint online with corporate and received an automatic response stating that I would be contacted momentarily and for immediate help it referred me back to the same phone number that referred me to corporate. After hearing nothing for seven business days I sent another, as well as calling. I was told their corporate customer concerns person should return my call within 24 hours. That didn’t happen either. I then sent another complaint online and the same process began again. I’ve yet to hear from anyone as to whether I can or cannot expect any resolution whatsoever. Basically, their customer service seems to be nonexistent.”
“Terrible on-line shopping experience. Long delivery period, then arranging a return took more than a week to hear from customer service. My parcel was delivered back to them on March 14, today is 28, no response, no refund. Just unbelievable for the brand level like this.”
“Sadly I am unable to provide a positive experience with this store or their after sales services. I made a purchase in store, attempted to arrange a refund, of an unworn item, with all tags still attached. The refund was refused on the basis that sale items are non refundable. These terms were not made clear at point of purchase, and the receipt was placed in the bag. Not allowing me an opportunity to check Ts & Cs. I challenged this with after sales and was met with reasonable obnoxious responses not answering direct questions until I re-iterated my points. That a) T&C were no made clear b) Signage was inadequate c) The item was in perfect condition. The Hugo Boss post sales management refused to acknowledge my point and have advised me to pursue a legal claim. Which I will be considering.
As a result I will not be purchasing anything from Hugo Boss again. I urge you to reconsider engaging with an organisation whom manner and customer sales requires examination.”

“I placed an order with BOSS online in December, but unfortunately, the items I received were too big. Consequently, I had to return them. I requested a returns label, sent the items back with UPS, and have the receipt confirming that they were signed and delivered to HUGO BOSS in Rochdale. However, customer service is claiming they haven't received the return, and I'm not getting any updates. Natalia, who I've been in contact with, makes the situation quite uncomfortable as she doesn't respond to emails and leaves me feeling ignored. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this experience, and I won't be ordering from this company again.”
“Stay away from this brand! Customer service is horrible and they do not stand behind their brand. There are many other brands that are much nicer who actually stand behind their brand and step in to help when things go wrong. I purchased an item that was lost during the shipping process and their response to me was that their resolution process takes anywhere from 27-29 days and that is how long they expect me to wait for my refund. They provided a bogus claim number and when I reached out to UPS they stated that no one from Boss had contacted them and the claim needs to unfortunately be initiated by the shipper in this case Boss. Once they take your money they don’t want to do anything in terms of service to help you when there’s an issue.”

I ordered an item (Xmas present) it said it would arrive before Xmas (it didn’t) aside from being late it was the wrong item, not even remotely correct! Wrong category, size and colour! Tried contacting via webchat, was told to email! Took days to get a response (which was less than helpful) I then called them to try either get the correct item or my money back and they basically said unless I send the wrong item back I can’t get either! They refused to collect the wrong item at the same time as delivery of the correct item. I know feel held to ransom with no choice but to find the time and the means to return the incorrect item due to their error! Meanwhile the recipient of the gift is without a present, it’s just shocking!”
“Worst Customer Service. I had an Issue with a Jacket I bought in Summer 2023. Have called there Customer Service numerous times since then to try and resolve it. I received Ticket numbers and Emails saying they will get back to me, Over 2 months later still no resolution. Clearly this a company that doesnt care about there Customers. I have been a loyal client for over 10 years and am very disappointed. DO NOT BUY from them.”
“I saved this year in order to buy the jacket I wanted in the Black Friday sales from hugo boss I used their online app and the payment kept failing, the payment eventually went through for £500 and then hugo bosses finance team decided that they was going to cancel the order and send me back my money rather than just send me the goods that I had wanted and paid for, I have now been told I will get my money back in two to five working days, which will mean that I will miss the Black Friday sales totally so what I have saved for and bought am now not going to get, and because I'm not going to get my money back in time I will not be able to buy anything else in the Black Friday sales either, this has been a terrible experience and I will not be buying from Hugo boss again burr beware and the app does not work as it should do, and rather than honour the payment they keep the money then make you wait to get it back”
“I purchased a leather coat 1.5 years ago from hugo boss and I actually thought that I was doing myself a favor and this is really a jacket I’ll be wearing for at least 5-6 years so i paid the money as opposed to going to a legit leather shop and buy something off to em for half the price and not paying for the brand. I realised about 3 months ago that the jacket is losing colour and it’s started to peel off I went to Boss store and found out that hugo boss was actually different from Boss and the only way I could reach out to them was via the website. I did what I was told and sent photos of the color and the loose leather at the top of the sleeve but it did not interpret with the lighting. They said it’s normal for leather to be this way as If this was the first time I ever saw leather and couldn’t tell the difference of a defected jacket with a quality one.
I again took it to Boss store since they were my only connection to Hugo however weak. They agreed with me about the peel off and defected jacket and they sent out an email to Hugo boss explaining this. After a couple of days I got another email from Hugo Boss saying this is considered normal and is due to me rubbing the leather on a surface! Since when a peeled off sign of a defected leather is the effect of rubbing it on a rough surface?!
It appears that they do not care about quality and making up for their absolutely bad quality. As if they are selling plastic as opposed to lamb leather. Well to be fair it was evident from their non responsive attitude to the comments here or anywhere else. But I’d be glad if I can make even 1 person aware about not spending one dime on this brand anymore.”
