IconByDesign was founded by a father and son. We are the fourth and fifth generations in our family to work in the furniture industry. We are committed to designing and crafting easy living furniture that brings calm into your world. We’ve always believed in the tradition of quality and that true success comes from our people, who we consider our family.

“After looking for shelves online for ages, I came across the Icon By Design website and very much liked the look of the Olivia shelves. I purchased online and once they arrived, I was thrilled. They are of great quality, very stylish and have a lovely finish. They look great in my living room and I'm so happy that I'm now going to purchase another one.”

“The customer service was excellent! On the first delivery of my Magnus dining table, there was a scratch so I refused the delivery. Adam and co helped schedule a new table for delivery shortly after, and kept me in the loop on the 2nd delivery. The deliverers from Metropolitan were very friendly and careful both times - one of my best furniture delivery experiences thus far. Thank you IconByDesign!”

“The customer service I received when deciding to purchase my Olivia 3 seater couch was nothing short of amazing !! Since I wasn't able to visit the store myself, they took the lengths to video call and help me with any questions I needed. And upon arrival, the delivery service was on point and in terms of the Design and Comfort it's exactly as I've wanted !! Incredibly comfortable and cozy. I Would Highly recommend their products to anyone and everyone as it is worth every penny”

“I purchased a solid oak Bastian Desk. It is beautiful. I happen to be a woodworker so I really admire the design, workmanship, and construction details. During shipping the top was damaged - not the company’s fault. I contacted Adam Light and his immediate response was “of course we will replace the top for you”. And … he did just that. Adam is a great guy who responds quickly. I only wish that he had the full line of his furniture available in the US when I purchased the desk in 2021. If you want beautiful, quality solid wood furniture at a great price this is the company for you.”

“The furniture piece is very nicely constructed and finished. The styling is lovely - just what we'd been looking for in mid-century modern. It reminds me of furnishings my parents had when I was a young child. The ordering process was smooth. Communication about the order and delivery was very clear. The delivery was very prompt and the handling and set up was excellent. Our furniture piece arrived intact and in perfect condition.”

“First, let me say that the table and chairs I purchased are exquisite! The quality of workmanship is excellent and the finish is perfect and goes with my solid oak floors. Secondly they were willing to give me a custom delivery date, based on my availability. And lastly, they offered the option of having the pieces assembled at delivery. Saved me having to find someone independently to accomplish that. I think might buy a couple more chairs one of these days! Beautiful furniture.”
