We are committed to designing and crafting easy living furniture that brings calm into your world. “Our Magnus table and six Olivia chairs arrived in perfect condition and look great. The delivery was on time, friendly and competent. The build and finish are top notch. This isn't particularly complicated furniture, but the joints are tight and smooth. The table top has steel rails underneath to keep it flat over the years. It's all well thought out and executed. We were worried about ordering chairs online, thinking about all the uncomfortable dining chairs we've sat in. The Olivia chairs exceed expectations - they are comfortable, solid, and have a nice balance, not too heavy or too light. The fabric back cradles you nicely and the seat has a nice amount of cushion. Adam suggested a zoom call before ordering and that was a great idea. We got to see various options in their Australian showroom and Adam did a test sit in various chairs, which was useful. So I recommend the video chat.”

“I looked for dining table for 4 months and even bought one that I didn’t like but better than eating food on the floor )) Fortunately, it wasn’t delivered and I had to seek another one, so I pulled the trigger and bought olivia solid American oak table on Icon by Design. After 2 months when it was delivered me and my wife was surprised because that’s what we were looking for!!! it is really beautiful and well made, we love it so much. Thank you Icon by Design!!!”

“Just moved from 5000 sq ft to 2000 sq ft and needed a new kitchen table. Most of my furniture is rosewood (50 years old) with some teak. I searched for a long time to find something that fit well with my current design. The table and chair set I ordered was exactly what I was looking for”

I called customer service with a question ( before ordering ) and the CEO answered the phone! It took 5 months to get my dining room, through no fault of the company, but it was absolutely worth the wait.”

“First the good: there is no doubt about the high quality of the materials used by Icon be Design. The Magnus chairs we have with black leather are absolutely gorgeous and ergonomically designed to be quite comfortable despite the hard back. We also appreciate the customer service in how they dealt with the supply chain issues that delayed our delivery by months. The bad is that we are very unhappy with our extension dining table and they are unwilling to do anything about it. While we have complained about the placement of the legs when the table is extended and how that interferes with additional people being able to sit at the table (our previous extension tables had the legs move out with the extension while this one has the legs stay in one place). I communicated this to the company and they were unwilling or unable to address this because I no longer have the packaging. We didn’t use the table while we were awaiting their response, but now have and have discovered a bigger issue— the pitch of the table when extended. The table pitches downwards toward the diner and causes all our sauces to roll down the plate toward the diner. It makes our dinners look terrible because the sauces mix together in a sloppy way. Either we have a defective table or this is another flaw in their extension table design. Highly recommend the chairs but I have no reason to recommend their extension tables.”

“Sometimes you look at things to buy online and then they don't measure up when you get them. In the case of IconByDesign, the furniture we ordered was as beautiful in reality as it was online. The Magnus extension table and sideboard are so well crafted, finished, and solid--we're thrilled! And their customer service is super! Adam was extremely responsive, as we followed the furniture from Australia to the port of L.A. (where it was stuck for awhile, as was everything) to our door. Glad I clicked on that random ad for a furniture company I'd never heard of!”

Very responsive team and great chairs. I deducted 1 star because I am not satisfied with the extension dining table as already communicated to them.”
