IconByDesign was founded by a father and son. We are the fourth and fifth generations in our family to work in the furniture industry. We are committed to designing and crafting easy living furniture that brings calm into your world. We’ve always believed in the tradition of quality and that true success comes from our people, who we consider our family.

“The time from ordering to delivery was reasonable. The delivery company set up the table in our home. Communication with Icon by Design was very straightforward. And the table is well made, sturdy and beautiful.”

“I ordered a table, 4 chairs, and a desk from Icon. Love it so much I plan to order 2 more chairs Delivery was seamless and the furniture design is easy to blend into any design concept, especially transitional, mid-Cent modern or Scandinavian. Good quality. Great lines. Fast delivery.”

“We bought 6 Olivia dining chairs and are pleased with what we got. The buying experience was pleasant starting with customer service that actually picks up the phone on the first ring - no elaborate automation hurdles to get to a human being. I think it was Adam who gave us all the detail we needed about the chairs without any over the top salesy talk - very matter of fact, informative and accurate. The chairs are solidly built and came fully assembled - no assembly required. The free delivery was white gloved - i.e they unpacked, brought it in and put it where we wanted them. We like the look - solid, modern but not flashy.”

“I can't say enough about this company. I was initially hesitant since their showroom was in Australia and I couldn't see the furniture in-person before I ordered. But they accommodated so well, with the video chat at their Melbourne showroom, and personally answering all my questions, always quickly. They even sent photos of tables/chairs in homes of people who had purchased their products. We decided to purchase the Olivia table and 4 Magnus dining chairs for our newly remodeled kitchen. We have a narrow eating nook in the kitchen -- and this table/chair set fit perfectly. Our cabinetry and overhead light were Alder wood -- but the Oak of the IbD chairs/table fit quite well. And the color choice of the chair fabric (Midnight Blue) was spot-on. There was damage to the tabletop, due to delivery. IconByDesign was very quick to respond to this, and sent out a table replacement. I would not hesitate to purchase from them in the future -- very happy with the experience and the quality merchandise.”

“I realized we'd had our old dining chairs for 40 years -- it was time for something new. I saw IconByDesign on my FB feed and was intrigued by the story. The chairs were the right price, I ordered them, and they came within a few weeks. They are just right and we're very pleased.”

“Overall OK. The initial delivery was about 3 weeks after the purchase date, which was way longer than I anticipated. Some of that is just the delivery company itself, but when compared to ordering from a chain that has more infrastructure in place or a local store it's something to keep in mind. The first table I ordered arrived cracked and it's hard to know if that's IconByDesigns fault or the delivery company's. I wanted to cancel the order at that point and get a refund, but apparently, they will only send another when a product is damaged in shipping. They sent another table to replace which took another ~1.5 weeks and that one arrived dusty and with some minor scratches (not enough to cause me to refuse delivery) and that makes me think that the products aren't well packaged and/or that their warehouse care isn't very good.”

“I researched IconbyDesign before purchasing. They are an Australian company which is OK by us. My only regret is that the chairs are manufactured in China. That is the only negative we have. The workmanship is very good and the leather used on the seats is unblemished and supple. I got the cream color, so I will need to watch for color transfer from new, dark-colored pants. But, the manufacturer does warn you of that. Shipping was excellent and the chairs arrived sooner than promised. The company has followed up to see if we were pleased. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again. Only wish they were not manufactured in China.”

“An ad on Facebook from this company I'd never heard of appeared on my feed. I really liked the look of the furniture and spent weeks researching IconByDesign. I did a video call with one of their showrooms and eventually decided to order a bed and 2 nightstands. I was so nervous spending this amount of money without being able to see the items in person first. I am so happy I took the risk as the quality of the furniture honestly is better than the photos and exceeded my expectations. I am going to fit my whole apartment with your furniture.”

“I purchased 4 chairs for a kitchen table we are building. First, delivery was faster than promised. Chairs were packaged very well and delivery men unboxed the chairs and let us inspect them. Then took the boxes away. Thank you for that. The chairs are just as shown on your website. Very well made. We are quite happy with them and make our old table look decent until the new one is finished.”
