As I'm reading through some other customers reviews I had the same thing happen to me today regarding some *supercard* with discounts off blah blah blah and £5 credit would be added on my account. Within mins of the call ending *SuperIdeal* tried taking £ from my bank but my bank was suspicious and thankfully notified me. I had 2 calls afterwards, 5 hours apart requesting through automated voice my personal details pretending they're from my bank and after confirmation from my bank I was informed no-one had tried to contact me, it's a scam. I'm awaiting an order and it will be my last dealing with Ideal world. If I could cancel I would but apparently order is on the way.

I recommended your company to an OAP couple to purchase a mattress, as I had brought one from yourselves. They purchased the mattress and received it 3-4 weeks ago, it was fine until it developed a big lump in the middle. I suggested they contact your customer service dept which they did, and I feel they haven’t been treated with the respect and dignity they should have. They were told to send the mattress back, well 2 things spring to mind, firstly these mattresses come in a box, secondly they are OAP’s and the husband is disabled and very very poorly, so how on earth is this going to happen? They were promptly told to wrap it because if it was return to your company dirty from transit they would not get a replacement or a refund, how in hells name do you expect a OAP lady to be able to do this on her own? So bless her she’s had to go and purchase at her own expense a full mattress cover to put it in, then to top this your customer service have said that it will take approximately 10 days before you receive it and inspect it, then they will have to wait for your decision before you will either replace or refund them, so this means they are going to have to sleep on the floor for approximately anything upto 3-4 weeks, they are OAP’s and the husband is I repeat DISABLED for goodness sake where is your customer service? All they keep being told is that this is your policy, may I make a suggestion that you review your policy in circumstances like this, you expect a lady on her own of a certain age to be able to do what your asking, I’m sure you have REPS that could quite frankly visit this couple and resolve the problem so that they do not have to SLEEP ON THE FLOOR WHILE YOU SORT THIS MATTER OUT. I feel bad because I recommended your Company to them and this is tragic how it’s turned out, please for goodness sake have some respect for this couple, I await your earliest reply to this matter with great interest. Thank you

I received a call today from ideal world with regards to a previous purchase I made, the person on the phone was trying to sign me up for some sort of promotion card for £99 which can be used in numerous stores, I refused his offer and was told that he would send me the paper work out for me to have a look at, again refused this, I then checked my online banking and seen that ideal super have taken money out of my account without my authorisation, ive contacted my bank and I was told to contact ideal world and request that the money be refunded or they will process this as frued. This is a total scam I NEVER signed up for any such card and I want all monies refunded. I contacted ideal to be told that I had signed up ( again not true the cold caller signed me up for his commission) ideal world I will never buy from your organisation again and I will certainly not be leaving this here as this is blatant theft.

OMG...THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! THE DORMEO MATTRESS IS MADE IN ROMANIA AND AMOUNTS TO A VACUUM PACKED ROLL OF CHEAP FOAM AND COAT HANGER SPRINGS! COMPLETELY MIS SOLD PRODUCT WITH A GUARANTEE OF ONE YEAR! NOT 10 YEARS OR EVEN 5! THIS MATTRESS WON'T LAST A MONTH LET ALONE A YEAR. SIDES ARE COLLAPSING BEFORE YOU EVEN SLEEP ON IT. THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY OF GETTING THIS MATTRESS BACK INTO THE MANUFACTURED VACUUM PACKED ROLL ..... COVERING IT IN THE PLASTIC SHEETING IS ALL ONE CAN DO. YOU HAVE TO PAY HERMES TO COLLECT MATTRESS? THIS COMPANY IS NOT UK BASED. EASTERN EUROPEAN AT A GUESS! HENCE THE COST OF THE TELEPHONE CALLS. TRADING STANDARDS NEEDS TO ACT NOW AND STOP IDEAL WORLD SELLING TRASH! NOT WORTH ONE STAR BUT HAD TO GIVE TO LEAVE REVIEW AND WARN OTHERS.

This company are an absolute disgrace!! I ordered a double size mattress but received a king size. Their customer service department couldn’t give a damn! This exact problem has happened to other customers too. The packaging labels are easy enough to read so how can their staff get this repeatedly wrong?! AVOID IDEAL WORLD LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Was placing an order online(06/01/21) when got phoned from ideal world sales person who said she would deal with it over the phone. I proceeded to place the order taking the flexi payment offer and paying with my mastercard. Received confirmation by e-mail of first payment took and order number. On 13/01 I went into my account to check delivery status only to find out order had been cancelled. I managed to speak with someone on the live chat line who informed me it had been cancelled as flexi payment was not accepted on master card. I asked why I was not informed of this stating I was was not happy about it but agreed to re order item with my visa card. When tried to re order said item it was not available an E bike costing £799.The first payment was refunded on 7/01. At no time was I informed of cancellation. Have now bought one from elsewhere. Will never use them again.

I want to make you aware of some important issues with Ideal World TV. 1st they use the word "collectible timepieces“ when selling watches, when in fact they are simply not. Most disturbing, is a very dangerous product they sell Roofix. The presenters failed to tell the viewers of the dangers of using roofix. Highly inflammable fumes. The product is not fire retardant and could therefore affect your insurance policy. If you love doing on TV I want Earth can you pick up the tin and read the dangers of using the product. The presenters should inform the viewer so it gives them choice to buy or not.

Ordered my items late Friday night. Emailed IW Monday morning to cancel, and was told it could take up to two days. Heard nothing. Emailed again Wednesday. Received reply, was told my order hadn't been cancelled, but he would cancel it that day. My first of four items arrived the following day. The next item, two days later. The third the following day, and the final item arrived tonight. 12 days after ordering, and 9 days after I tried to cancel. I FEEL I MUST WARN YOU !!! I ordered music memorabilia. Framed Gold disc of U2 selling half a million copies of the Joshua Tree. One of only 100 worldwide. A David Bowie platinum disc for selling a million copies. Both had engraved plaques, saying "Platinum/Gold disc for selling such amount of records. Then was the number of the disc and how many. Bowie, 12 of 50. U2, 25 of 100. I've since seen very similar framed discs for sale on eBay for half the price. Also bought a framed Stone Roses thing with 4 CD's in, a pic of the band, signed by Manni and Ian Brown. Sellotaped to it was a printed note telling me they couldn't put the engraved plaque in because of covid, but they will send it to me later. There was also a proof of authenticity. It was the worst photocopy I have ever seen, and the names of the two people who had signed it, had been wrote in, by what looked like, a very small child. My final item was a limited edition Queen album. Very rare 12 inch orange vinyl. I found that online for less than half the price is paid. I would advise anybody thinking of buying this tat to think twice. It seems that somebody is screwing somebody over with these types of "limited worldwide editions" The battle now for me, is to get my money back. Watch this space

The promise of a 90 night trial when purchasing a mattress does not exist. They expect you to roll and vacuum pack in original packaging which is impossible. Also promise " ideal world will come and pick up free of charge".you need to purchase packaging and arrange and pay collection through Hermes. Do not believe flexi pay, they took the full amount from my account a d lied about the reason why. I now have a mattress that was misrepresented by the presenter therefore cannot use and I am £360 out of pocket. Please do not deal with this company once they ha e your money they are so rude and ignore you.

These certins, charged me additional charges and sent my details to a debt recovery company! They allegedly tried to take my payment which I had ordered the item on Flexi pay, but couldn't despite me making the original payment via the same bank account??? I sent them emails, called the extortionate help line only to be put in queue! I will be notifying trading standards about this scam, and.never purchase from this company again.

Ideal World passed my 83 year old, recently widowed father's bank account to their discount card affiliates IE - SCAMMERS who without authorization or warning took a hundred quid out of his account, via the bank card registered with IDEAL WORLD. Both companies are refusing responsibility. This has been passed on to Lloyd's fraud team. Absolutely dispicable behaviour. They're a rip off company anyway, charging over £20 per phone call, for what is basically, pound shop stuff. AVOID IDEAL WORLD!!!

Beware Feedback Calls From Ideal World Over the course of several years I have bought items from Ideal World and generally have been satisfied with the products and the delivery of those items. I have not had an occasion to return any of the items bought. I do though agree with other comments relating to the Blue Magic cleaner. It is ok as a general cleaner for the bathroom etc. but doesn't perform in the way it is demonstrated on TV. Useless on cleaning an oven for example. This review though is to warn about a supposed feedback call that may be received. I had a call from a lady with an east European accent saying she was ringing to see if the product I ordered had arrived and was all everything ok. She then went on to say that as a regular customer I was being rewarded with a credit of £5 added to my account. She then went on to tell me that I would be receiving a free Supercard that would entitle me to discounts via many retailers. The call lasted sometime and it was only when I suggested there would be a cost to this card that she told me it was free for just two weeks after which a sum close to £100 would AUTOMATICALLY BE TAKEN. At this point, and with the tone of the call, I suspected it may be a scam call. I sent an email to Ideal World and received a prompt reply to confirm the call was from Ideal World and that they have removed me from the promotional call list. This is a very underhand way of selling and many people, especially some of the elderly, will be conned into taking up this offer and then find they are massively out of pocket. I have suggested to Ideal World that they should review this method of selling. They are making unsolicited calls and getting around that by claiming it is a feedback call relating to purchased items. BEWARE.

Like John McAuliff i bought a CCCP watch. It stopped working on 3rd wear. Told it will take 6 weeks to repair. 11 Aug it was returned. Emailled and said its too long i want my money back. They said it may be another two weeks (prob more). So i paid £100 for a tacky piece of junk i dont even have. And getting customer services to talk to you is a nightmare.
