“Idealworld since returning to trading, sells nothing worth buying. Before insolvency l bought lots of useful products from Idealworld, since their return to trading there is nothing worth buying . Customer service is appalling, Buyers beware. Mrs C.”

“Since the relaunch quality has gone down the toilet. Looking at what they’re settling most of it comes from Ali express or bankruptcy auctions. Is it even legal to sell things before you have them In stock? PS and MM still pushing tatt like it’s the best thing you’ll ever buy. MM sounds like a dodgy market stall holder. Finally what’s going on with production values. The shows look and sound terrible. Note to the camera operators there’s a thing called a focus ring, try using it”

“Just wanted to say, since being took over, the products are absolute rubbish, and the presenters awful especially the one named Sally, what a big mouth, she's an embarrassment, I only watch to see if it's got any worse from the day before, and it always has, awful products, cheap and nasty.”

“Received a vibration plate with a German DVD, no good to us. Been trying for 2 months now to get an English one but keep getting told we're on it. Numerous times been told someone will phone back but they never do.”

“Ordered men's wallet not bad quality but it's a tri fold so bulky in your pocket wrote a review but ideal world did not post the feedback.. Seems they still cherry pick there reviews... And not for the first time!!!”

“I have sent the following email to ideal world but they just do not want to listen. They promise a manager will ring you back and they do not. I have sent the following to ideal world many times but they chose not to listen. I have never come across a company with Customer services as bad as Ideal Worlds. It's based in India and when they phone you back the phone rings for five seconds and then they stop ringing. I cannot get to my phone to answer them in this time. I have been told by one of the Indians that he has tried to phone me four times and he could not get through to me. If this was the case a missed call would have been registered on my phone but there are no missed calls on my phone, so someone is not telling the truth. I tried to speak to someone in England to put in a complaint but it appears that there is no one. I wonder if people buying from Ideal world realise the trouble they would have with customer services when they buy items. It's just not worth the effort in trying to get in touch with them. The customer services I India will not take a complaint from me about themselves and there seems to be no one interested in taking a complaint in the UK. I have had several messages from them as emails. One said they are looking into my problem One said they were pleased that my problem is now solved (but it is not) One said he had tried to get me on my phone four times but could not get through. (If he had done this a missed call would have been registered on my phone four times - there are no missed calls showing on my phone) I have been trying to get through to someone now for ten days, I always get India and they (unfortunately) are no help at all. I have tried contacting the sales line but the people who answer the sales line do not work for Ideal World - they are just paid to answer calls and the definitely would not take a complaint. I am at my wits end with Ideal World and wish I had never come into contact with them. If anyone from Ideal World reads this would they please get in touch with me as soon as possible. I have been trying to speak to an English manager for ten days I have been promised by the Indians that someone would ring but no one has. Please open a formal complaint for me regarding this. PLEASE ASK SOMEONE TO PHONE ME. Thanks.”

“This channel is embarrassing since taken over by TJC. Trying to sell tat on the back of Ideal World's previous history. How long does it take to sell a hosepipe ?? Answer at least 3 presenters and one expert. Why need a chef to demonstrate a toaster ?? Selling watches which have come from china. I channel hop for a joke only to see the same thing on air. Gone are the days of brilliant watches,kitchen aids,garden products but to name a few,instead they try to sell walking sticks,torches,dash cams,plastic buddha water features. Sorry but I definitely won't be buying from them again”

“Bought Opatra synergy rose quartz marble facial device for £800. Arrived with the tip broken off, appeared to have been stuck on with white glue and the shrink wrap was loose. Think it had already been returned by another customer. It’s gone back and I’m waiting for a refund. Also bought the Cetuem HRC GOLD shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment set. Shampoo didn’t lather at all, couldn’t get the conditioner pump to work and there was no hole in the tonic bottle nozzle. My hair feels terrible, just going to wash it all out and go back to my normal shampoo and conditioner.”

“Purchased a heated throw , it stopped working after a very short time ( so well into guarantee)Phoned customer service to be told they are the new Ideal World so they won't honour the guarantee. However they have the orginal presenters ! How ever convenient . Will never use them again. The actual tv programme is unwatchable anyway , shocking graphics and poor stock anyway. Avoid , avoid , avoid .”

“I used to shop alot on ideal world bought loads of household and fashion. Since tjc took over. The fashion is outdated and some is expensive for what it is. I don't shop there anymore”
