“Definitely quieter. I wish they could be manufactured faster and shipped much quicker. We had an issue with the delivery company having the wrong phone number and delaying delivery several weeks.”

Michael, We are glad to hear that the inserts were able to bring some necessary quiet into your home. We appreciate the feedback about lead times and shipping issues. Our lead times are now 3-4 weeks from order. We are constantly looking for ways to reduce them further while maintaining the excellent quality that we are known for. The shipping industry has been under tremendous strain and, though conditions are improving, we are still seeing issues with delayed delivery. We are doing what we can to facilitate communication with our shipping partners to avoid and correct issues. We understand the impact this has on the customer experience and will continue to work prevent and minimize shipping complications. Thanks again for your business and your thoughtful feedback.

“We are beyond HAPPY with out Indow Inserts. We have 41 original 1959 single pane casement windows. Although the windows are in great shape they are still single pane. We got 3 quotes from window companies and the quotes ranged from 153K - 92K. Needless to say we were looking for other options. The process from beginning to end was Amazing. We contacted Indow and made a video appointment with Hannah. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Once we decided to move forward we received our measuring kit with samples of the inserts. We were very impressed with the materials and how easy it was to measure all 41 windows!! We received our Indow inserts within 5 weeks, just in time for WI winter. They were packaged so well and they were so easy to install. We instantly noticed a difference in the temperature of the house. We even did a test where we heated the house and then turned off the heater to see how well the inserts would maintain the heat. It performed great! We LOVE our Indow inserts. It has only been 2 weeks we have had them, but almost every day we say how happy we are we got them. Thank you Indow!”

“With new Indow inserts, 16 windows around our sunroom no longer rattle in the wind or allow cold drafts through! These are way better than previous wood-framed plastic film and foam inserts. They look great in a remodeled 1800s farmhouse in Maine. Directions for laser measuring helped make perfectly fitted inserts. Packaged so well the crushed corner of the box didn't harm the inserts at all. Packaged so well, it took considerable time to unpack! Then inserting went smoothly- good instructions written and video combined. On sunny days, the sun streams through, warming this fairly large room. We look forward to the test of January cold! It was important for us to communicate with the delivery service and get help from neighbors with a fork lift because the crate could not come in our half mile forested gravel drive. In the spring we will need to figure out how to store them protectively. All in all - VERY happy with Indow.”

“Excellent product, well made. Fit perfectly. Very expensive and took too long to receive. I object to the company charging me two months prior to shipping the items. Customers should not be charged until the work begins, at the earliest.”

“I will start by saying this, As one can imagine with every product out there we as consumers have to make a leap of faith when purchasing a new type of product. Even with the well put together kit and other marketing materials for me there was a little doubt. Fortunately today 12/16/2022. My family and I are very happy with the purchase. Our home is a 1930s house and we didn’t want to defile it with modern windows. Indow solved this problem and then some. Highly recommend and we will be doing more business in the future.”

“Luckily I had help measuring the inserts, I'm metric so 21/32 as a measure didn't mean anything to me. But once we received the inserts, installing them was a breeze.”

“We live in a circa 1840 residence with the original windows. The Indow window system provided both insulation and soundproofing to deal with the traffic noise in front of our house. After careful measurements, the Indow windows were produced to custom-fit our windows and marked for easy reference and installation. We were able to install five window inserts in a single evening. The Indow window system combines both functionality and aesthetics. We're very happy with the system and plan to order more.”

Daniel, Thanks for the feedback. Our inserts are covered by both a limited lifetime warranty on manufacturer defects, etc. and a SnugFit guarantee for fit issues. When hearing of the fit issue with your inserts, we worked with you to resolve the issue. We also discussed ways to ensure that the inserts were maximizing their sound reduction properties in your space. However, in many situations, due to the many other variables in a sound environment, additional soundproofing methods may need to be used in conjunction with our inserts to achieve the desired result. We are open to discussing this with you further and have reached out to facilitate this continue discussion. While we are sorry that you are not experiencing the results that you were looking for, we hope that through this continued discussion we can assist change that experience.

“I live in an apartment next to a busy main street where cars and emergency vehicles would pass by all the time at night, making it difficult to sleep. However, ever since using the Indow inserts the noise levels have reduced significantly and I can barely hear the loud bearing sirens going by all the time. The ordering and measuring process was straight forward, convenient and easy. It arrived way earlier than expected and it was relatively easy to install even for a non-handy person. I would recommend it 10/10 for anyone that suffers from loud neighborhoods. The only criticism I have (and it may not be Indow's fault) is that the courier delivered the panels to the apartment building office and not outside my door. These panels are really heavy and I would not have been able to carry them up to my apartment had I lived alone.”

“The windows fit perfectly and the sound has been reduced to the point that it is no longer a problem. That alone makes them well worth the cost. The sales representatives that I spoke with were very competent and knowledgeable. If I have a future need for something like this, they will be the company that I call.”

“We contacted the company (Indow Windows) through an online 20% off promotion (WOW20). The company replied through email to schedule an estimation meeting. The only available selections for the meeting were for after the promotion had ended. We conducted the phone meeting and received the estimate with only 15% off (the now current promotion being offered). We inquired about the discrepancy in the discount, and we were offered an additional 2%, now bringing the total discount to 17%. This appears to be a bait and switch advertisement, and the company sales team will not acknowledge why we are not being given the promotional discount that was offered at our intended time to purchase and first point of contact. It seems that they purposefully delayed the estimation meeting to reduce the discount from 20% to 15%. The product is quite expensive and the immature and questionable nature of the sales strategy has us puzzled.”

“WOW the Indows are amazing - we have a 1925 Spanish revival home with 37 original casement windows. The windows were extensively rehabbed inside and out by a prior owner and are in fabulous condition - but of course they are only single panes. We just received an initial order of six Indows to see if we like them and we are just blown away by the difference they have made in these three rooms. Yes it can be a little tricky to get them delivered to your house from the freight warehouse (especially here in the NY metro area) but that is not the fault of Indow. They all fit perfectly and honestly you don't even know they are there! The prior owners also installed pull down screens using an interior metal frame - so the Indows fit perfectly against those frames. Just super happy with the Indows and I know for certain we will be ordering more of them!”

“These inserts are fabulous! I have an historic house with huge wavy glass and leaded glass windows. Phil was amazing and patiently guided me through the measuring process. “Ordered 3 for noise reduction in my bedroom. My windows are over 100 years old and local historic preservation will not allow replacements. I worked with Reed on my order and received the windows in Nov 22. I love them! They fit perfectly and work as advertised. The noise level dropped tremendously. I plan to order 4 more soon. Definitely recommend.”

“I bought the inserts to reduce traffic noise in my bedroom. Although the sounds are slightly diminished, it is really not that much of a difference. I am especially surprised because I have very deep windows and have a good two inches between the glass and the inserts. I thought these were the ideal conditions to reduce noise with the inserts.”

Because every sound environment is unique, other variables may be in play other than the sound traveling through the window areas. Sometimes, other soundproofing techniques must be used in conjunction with our inserts to achieve the desired sound reduction.
