“My 1970s cape has 1990s wooden Anderson replacement windows (previous owner installed). I really like the look of the wood windows and wooden casements, but the windows on the northeast side of house were drafty, and room very cold compared to others. After shopping around, Indows seemed like a perfect solution. Stu Grant, the local Indow dealer, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He installed the Indows Saturday evening, on one of the coldest, windiest nights of the winter. Granted its only been a week, and don't have a heating bill yet to compare to, but room seems "warmer" and drafts were eliminated. Plus, the Indows definitely cut down on the outside noise.”

“I bought two acoustic window inserts to test with the hope of reducing street noise and buying for my whole house if they worked. They cost around $700 each, and I was disappointed with the result. They muffle the sound at best, but it still feels like cars are driving straight through the room. For the price I was expecting more, and I was disappointed no one from the company followed up. Apart from that, the company seems genuine and the process of ordering, measuring and delivery was quick and sleek. The product is easy to install, looks very nice and fits in neatly with my Victorian window frames. Maybe if you need for weatherproofing this product will suit your needs more, but for noise reduction I would not recommend.”

“We are completely satisfied with our decision to choose Indows installed by Green Home Ohio, LLC instead of aluminum storm windows from our local window installer. The first thing we noticed was the look--our 1872 home does not need to be cheapened with aluminum, and the Indows are so seamlessly integrated into the windows that it doesn't change the historical appeal of the home from the outside at all. The heat upstairs has been a big improvement as well; our daughters' rooms were cold and drafty previously, but now they can sleep comfortably. Indows are more expensive to have installed than exterior storm windows, but when we considered how easily they could be removed to let in outside air, how easily they could be installed, and how they would not affect the historic look of our home, it was an easy decision. Todd was a complete professional; he worked efficiently and made sure that we were comfortable with removing and replacing the Indows before he left. He was courteous and called when he was coming; we felt at ease knowing we were getting personal and professional installation.”

“This is a valuable addition to my thermopane window. The measurement and installation was straight-forward and the sound attenuation and additional insulating qualities were well worth the investment! I am planning on installing an additional unit in my vestibule to help reduce road noise.”
