“I live In a condo in San Jose, CA where a significant amount of development is underway. Specifically there is a 4 story, 150,000 sf hospital being build next door. There is a continuous stream of sounds ranging from deep growing heavy machinery, grinding, hammering, backup alarms etc. A few weeks ago my Indow Windows arrived and completely changed the situation for the better. It did not make the project go away but the constant sounds were muted. For example the window inserts are able to decrease the hammers and backup alarms. They are still present but arena the background instead of a continuous alarm clock type feeling. The inserts all fit very well and came packaged very well. My entire experience with Indow has been positive. I never felt pressured but listened to while they made product suggestions. The measuring was detailed and the ordering process was a breeze.”

“We’re very happy with the inserts. We had very drafty windows and now we don’t. The difference was noticeable right away after putting them in, I would highly recommend Indow Windows.”

“We ordered and installed these in our daughter’s 1939 Storybook Tudor in Dallas almost 1 year ago. The home had rattling original windows, and external storm windows are not allowed in the historical neighborhood. Replacing many windows was not in the budget at thousands of dollars each. Thank goodness we duscovered your product! I am convinced had we not used your window inserts to stop the drafts from the original windows, she would have had major frozen/broken pipe damage or even frozen herself this week in Texas’s weather/power grid disaster. Thanks again!”

“our inserts are very good at reducing noise and heat/cold. BUT - the inserts are a very tight fit. My husband said that he nearly didn't get them installed because they are so tight. He was disappointed with this because of the care we took with the measuring process. He did get them installed but someone who is not as strong and fit as him would never have been able to install them and would have sent them back as too big.”

“We still have some small gapping that we didn’t notice until we were past the few days we had to notify you all, but overall the room is darkened and is a safer option for our kids room since they can’t pull them down like they could a heavy curtain rod and curtain.”

“Took a chance and purchased 20 for the whole house. Installed them right before what turned out to be the two coldest weeks of winter (well below zero every night, single digit highs during the day). Very happy with the purchase. They are working out great. Eliminated drafts and even the noise reduction is noticeable. Measuring and ordering went smoothly. My cost was less than 10% of what new windows were estimated at and I am sure I ended up with superior results. Quality product delivers on performance.”

“As soon as they were placed there was a marked, noticeable difference in the warmth in the room. Since we have placed them we have seen at least a five and in some cases ten degree increase in the average temperature in the various rooms, all of which had vintage single-pane windows. We live in New Hampshire. You have to be sure your measure correctly, yes, but the rubber flange around them makes up for any minor errors in your measurement or minor variations/irregularity in old wood window frames (and was a deciding factor in our purchase since the competition requires carpentry to get the inserts in place). Even better, it is like they are not there, the view is still the same without any distortion and I still find myself sometimes trying to put my hand on a windowsill only to realize I can't since the Indow is there. Yes, they are a bit expensive but we believe we will, in the long run, save money since our heating oil costs will be less.”

“I live on a main road with a lot of traffic noise. Additionally, living in the northeast, the winters can get pretty brutal I have had the inserts placed in the three living room windows (33 x 52) ea. The noise reduction has gone down noticeably and the main thing I picked up on was the surface temperature of the inserts compared to the surface temperature of windows without the inserts...HUGE difference when I placed my palm on the insert vs. the window at 6 below.”

“We live near an interstate and purchased two acoustic indows to significantly reduce the amount of noise transmitted into our son's bedroom at night. The process of measuring and installing the windows was straight forward - no issues for us. The net effect of adding the indows is a reduction in noise, although we had hoped for a more significant change. We are generally pleased and offer 4 stars. I would say this design is case specific so I recommend describing the exact noises before committing to evaluate whether these are a good investment or not.”
