“I use Insect Shield products I've purchased nearly every day from March to November. I haven't had a tick bite in six years! The best part is that I can enjoy the outdoors here in New Hampshire without an inordinate fear of Lyme Disease. I'm very careful but I have an edge with Insect Shield. Everyone who works or enjoys the outdoors where ticks are present should investigate these products!”

“My husband and I go hiking year round and we are constantly advising other hikers about Insect Shield clothing and sending clothing in to be treated! We always wear treated clothing on the trails, and have never had trouble with ticks! People actually ask if we work for Insect Shield because of how highly we recommend it! It's awesome!”

“I contracted alpha-gal (red meat disease) after a tick bite 6 years ago. I have since came out of it. Since I started using Insectshield, my tick occurrences have dropped at least 90%.”

“I ordered a pair of insect shield tights a number of months ao and they are fabulous. The two large cargo pockets on the side don't stick out but hold my phone and keys or whatever. I was so pleased with them that I ordered 2 more. However these do not have the pockets and that is very dissapointing and limits their usefulness. I hope you bring back the ones with pockets as I can't recommend the ones without pockets. I would, however, rate your company 5 stars. Karlin”

“I like Insect Shield products without reservation. I have pants, shirts, and socks, and wear them whenever I go out gardening or hiking. I have not had any tick bites since I have been wearing Insect Shield clothing, and only one tick on a pair of pants that had exceeded 70 washings (I immediately threw them out). I recommend Insect Shield to friends and family every chance I get. My only concern is that the UPS to Post Office delivery system is poor. I have been waiting 15 days for my last order. I can't answer all the questions on this survey because the delivery has not yet occured.”

“For the past few years we have been sending our clothes to Insect Shield to be treated with permethrin. We are very pleased with the quick service and we have not found a tick on us since wearing our treated clothing while working outside.”

“I have a tee shirt, long sleeve shirt , socks, and pants that are about 4 years old. I only wear them two days a month when I teach a bushcraft class in the woods. Have never had a problem with ticks! I put them in the drier for a few minutes afterwards just in case. They seem to have worked just fine. I would recommend them.”

“I have Alpha Gal from a tick bite. I got insect shield socks, jeans and shirts for when I am out in the country. Four years and so far I have not had a tick on me. Great product, no smell.”

“I am thrilled with all the clothing I have purchased from Insect Shield. They are all extremely well made, and comfortable. I particularly love the light weight clothing. They don't make you hot and sticky during high temperatures and humidity. I love, love, love the socks which I wear everytime I work outside. Since I have been wearing the insect shield clothing I have not had one tick bite and I live in CT where ticks are very common. I've even waded into tall grass working in my meadow and have been protected.”

“Over the last four years I've purchased a new kit (shirt pants and socks) every year. I did so because your product has been fantastic. My property seems to be a paradise for chiggers. I have three acres to care for with tall grasses and a considerable amount of tree maintenance (pruning or chopping down after heavy ice storms). I do the work myself. After years of wonderful satistaction I bought my "annual kit" a few weeks ago. The day I got it I immediately put it on and went out to do my thing for the first time this season, confident as I had for the last 4 years. It was a disaster! I had a pair of socks under my pants and another over them. and wore a set of knee high boots with the sock wrapped pants inside them. Once the first wave of 20 bites subsided I went out again, this time wearing both last year's pants along with this year's. It made no difference. When I spoke with customer service last week, I asked if by any chance you's had a "bad batch". She said that she was not aware of any. After a convesation she said she'd send me another "two pack" of socks. They should be here next week and we'll see how that goes. In the interim I've made another attempt and nothing changed, I'm once again covered in these little buggers. Your Customer Service rep was very attentive and concerned so no problems there. I do have a serious concern that just the socks will work, the location of the bites is way above my knees. If you give me an email address I'll be glad to give some feedback after I receive the socks I'll drop you a line and let you know. Your products have been extremely good in the past but this year's have not come close to past protection. Regards, George Daly (georgerdaly@gmail.com)”

“It keeps the ticks off of us. My wife and I volunteer in state parks on the California coast and we are on our second set of work/volunteer clothes that we have had treated by Insect Shield. In the four years of maintaining trails, invasive plant eradication and whatever else we are asked to do, we have yet to find a tick on us. The same cannot be said by our fellow volunteers and state park employees that we work with. For us, treating our clothes with Insect Shield really works keeping the ticks at bay.”

“The selection of clothing that really does repel ticks and chiggers is good but Insect Shield should add a selection of light weight, fast-drying long sleeve shirts and long pants for use in the tropics, where it's hot and rainy.”
