“MCX 2 person tent and ground sheet.
The tent arrived in a day which was awesome. Pitched it in the backyard to see how it went as some reviews had it as a difficult setup. Once you see how the doors offset it is not hard at all. I really love the double vestibules as they are a decent size compared to my last two tents, the upright doors will also keep the rain from entering when you step in.
The second night was at a camping ground and it went up no hitches. It was a super blustery night and gave me a real time experience without the rain and once pegged down it was rock solid. I also use the ground sheet (Tracker 2) and found this no problem. I would prefer if it also covered one vestibule ground but not a major issue.
I have kept one star as I have yet to use it on a hike, but have two nights booked in the Kaimanawa Forest later this week. It will get the real test then and I will report back, so far, so good”
“Good value for money when on special, more suitable for camping than hiking due to size. They are comfortable and made with a material that doesn't stick to your skin or squeak when moving.”
“I have taken the tent out once so far and will say I am pretty happy with it. Still figuring out the small triangular clips as I have not seen these before but otherwise I am impressed with the overall quality. And the dual zip doors are brilliant!
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the order inadvertently included 2 extra sets of tent poles. I would imagine few people order an extra set to begin with (and I only did because I am Canada and the shipping would be prohibitive if something happened and I needed a replacement) so one would think 2 would at least be warrant a confirmation before shipping.”
“I bought a hopper 2 tent recently, it was delivered quickly and i was very satisfied. Overall the tent itself is great, easy to pitch and quick to take down, light enough to carry in a pack and fits easily in the kayak. The metal parts leave some room for improvement. The pole came with one attachment that is too tight to fit on one of the corners, doesn't feel like it was machined right. A replacement would be ideal as I don't want to use pliers or a file to make an integral piece of the tent functional. Several of the pegs have also already bent and or snapped and feel low quality.”
“I am impressed by the Raider 1 man tent from Orson. I have set it up and looking at it's deminsions and pole system after going through a MSR 1 persin and a Macpac nautilus 2 person which I both found not up to standard, I am impressed by this long one man tent with its tight fixture once pegged in, very wind strong and well thought out. It is light at 1.7 kg and am looking forward to using it in the wild as it a long time Ling distance traveller and have used kiwi tents in the past and they are awesome. I'm excited by this Orson tent as it has a great olive color that helps me to hide from rangers and be descreeet in the nz bush free spirit in and respecting our environment.

The delivery could have been clearer regarding the location of the depot as I was initially half was between two depot so unsure where it would default to.
The annex isn't that waterproof which I was unaware of when purchasing.
Overall though I absolutely love the roof tent and would 100% recommend the company. It has been fantastic.”

“I've received my single tent but not yet erected it. It appears to have everything inside and arrived a few days late but as it was the week before Christmas I wasn't too worried, busy times for deliveries.
I won't be trying it out until the New Year.”
“Small and light tent that was great for one person. But no room to put a pack out of the rain. Worked well and liked that you put the top on first so the inside part stayed dry when putting up.”
