“If you want a ticket to travel for an extended period International TEFL Academy is the program for you. It offers a program that can be completed in a few short months and includes the practicum. Once you complete it you can join any of the alumni groups on Facebook and start connecting with people to find potential jobs and travel buddies. There is a group for almost any country you're interested in visiting! There are people here to help you every step of the way to answer any questions you have.”

“I researched a LOT of schools and programs, and International TEFL Academy was one of the only accredited schools that checked all of the necessary boxes. Since graduating, they have been a dream support system. They go above and beyond to help their enrolled students and Alumni! You will not find a better school or better professors!”

“International TEFL Academy provided me with the tools and support that I wanted to go abroad and teach English. My instructor always gave valuable and timely feedback. My student advisor is personable and accessible whether I am abroad or stateside. With the ability to continue my learning by taking additional supplemental and specific courses, I feel I am always "in the know".”

“Completing the online course at ITA was a fabulous experience! The instructor, learning resources, and technical support made my experience enjoyable and invigorating. I learned so much and felt extremely well prepared by the end of the course. I highly recommend International TEFL Academy!”

“Very professional and thorough program. I love how they provide job support and resources to alumni as well. I would highly recommend this school and all of their classes. I personally purchased the books to have them on hand but they also provided pdf versions of the books during the class which was a nice touch.”

“At 60 years old after 40 years of having high stress management jobs I wanted to slow down. So during my.pandemic layoff I took the 11 week TEFL course. It was fun, challenging and rewarding! I then bought a one way ticket to Turkey and never looked back. I have been in Turkey over a year teaching English online with Cambly. I make enough to live very comfortably 5 minutes from the Mediterranean. I can go to the beach on my days off, walk along the sea each evening and travel to Europe easily on a long weekend. Life is amazing if you are gutsy enough to just take that leap of faith!”

“Honestly, I did not feel supported by the ITA community here in Barcelona when I arrived. The person who works here with ITA was just concerned about taking my money in order to pay for my Spanish school so that I could get the visa. I pretty much had to figure out everything on my own once I got here. Now working at a school with children (5-7) and teenagers here in Barcelona I do not feel like my Tefl certification prepared me at all for this job. Learning about classroom management and working with children would have been very helpful.”

“ITA's on-line course gave me the opportunity to finally pursue a dream I have had for years, to teach English as a second or foreign language. Fitting the 10-week course into my busy life was not easy but ITA made it possible and worthwhile through their flexible on-line program. “I felt most of the material was very helpful - learning TPR. I just wish it included pointers on how to teach irregular verbs for those like myself who aren't so creative. Also, for older teachers the job market isn't as open.”

“ITA is a terrific online academy for earning a TEFL certificate, whether one desires overseas, F2F work or online tutoring/teaching. Every interaction was edifying, professional, and friendly, including those interactions w/ my advisor, Ambrosia; my 2 teachers, Megan H. and Rhonda P.; and my Student Affairs advisor, Ivana. Each person had all the necessary information to buoy me toward the shore and the completion of 2 certificates and 2 practica. The flexibility of the asynchronous learning delivery system also helped, as I am still working 40 hours outside of the home. The course content is solid, created by those w/ education and experience in the field. And, of course, the price is reasonable as well. Thanks, ITA, you've helped me attain more career goals.”

“My International TEFL Academy experience has been excellent. The course was taught by a very qualified university-level Linguistics professor. The fact that ITA's practicum requires far more hours than the international standard speaks to the high level of the program. The staff has been great whenever I've had questions.”

“I finished my TEFL course a little over a year ago and I am very pleased with the amount of information I gained by taking the class. I had experience teaching young children but not in such an intense way. I'm not going to lie, the course was stressful and a bit difficult but my instructor was wonderful and the feedback she offered helped me remain focused and on track. You must be willing to put a good deal of work and effort into the class but the payoff is well worth the effort. I have now been teaching online successfully for a full year and I love what I do.”

“ITA exceeded my expectations! This is coming from someone who failed their first semester of college because it was all online and I just couldn’t keep up with the pace nor understand the system. I never thought an online class could teach me so much, but ITA certainly did. I learned a lot and my instructor was great at giving honest feedback that helped broaden my perspective. I truly find it hard to believe there’s a better online TEFL course out there. If I could do it all over, I would choose ITA time and time again.”

“My wife and I did a lot of research on TEFL training and we were so glad that we choose the International Tefl Academy, ITA to get our certification. ITA offers a professional, comprehensive and responsive program. Their program is organized and online platform is easy to navigate. Their instructors are top-notch and accessible if one has questions or need help on an assignment. ITA's support is consistent from beginning to end; and it really does not end as we have contacted ITA years after our certification to get assistance on teaching in different countries. If you're looking for a comprehensive TEFL program, you can have confidence in ITA.”
