“I should have read the reviews first instead of falling for the fancy website.
Paid £17.99 for what I later discovered was just a "pre-order" and a couple of days later asked to pay another £41.99 to get the phone unlocked. Information on what a "pre-order" is, is hidden away so you're not aware of the additional costs unless you go through all the terms and conditions.
This is a free service at my local phone shop, instead being asked to pay nearly £60.”
“Excellent service, if your looking to unlock an iPhone this is the place to go, the site is very easy to use and your emailed promptly, my iPhone was unlocked from EE in 2 days, highly Recommend”
“Great service! Would definitely recommend if you are looking to unlock your iPhone. I had given the wrong details initially but they were really helpful at sorting my order and getting my phone unlocked from the network. Thank you very much!!!”
“purchase an EE unlock on Friday and clearly on their website it states 1 - 24 Hours. I paid the money and waited. 24 Hours elapsed and their track order system does not work stuck on 20%. Contacted the company to be simply told our engineers are working on the infrastructure please bear with us we will update you asap. 48 Hours passed exactly the same thing nothing and same message sent again track order still on 20%. 72 Hours passed still no unlock but this time I get told " We are very sorry for the delay, unfortunately as explained in our terms of service, sometimes we can experience server delays, this affects mobile unlocking worldwide. We are doing everything we can to expedite your order.
Please note that your contract with us is for 30 days as per our terms of service accepted at the point of purchase. If we are unable to complete your unlock within this time frame and your order has not been rejected then a refund will be provided."
When I placed the order none of this was stated nor did it show up at the checkout process. This company I think is a SCAM be warned they will take your money and then mess you about. I think the good reviews on trustpilot must be fake reviews as how can a company with such good reviews that state 24hour turnarounds is stating the above. GO ELSEWHERE PEOPLE THIS COMPANY IS NOT LEGITIMATE”
“Had a really good experience with these guys, if your iPhones still in contract then you need to wait until it’s expired or you have to pay to clear it, mine wasn’t out of contract and unlocked for the price stated on the price list, I would certainly use again”
“I went to https://www.iphoneapprovedunlock.com and did a request for unlocking an iPhone 6S Plus. It showed the price as $18. Next day I got an email that I need to pay another $46 to get the release code!!
I was truly surprised about the additional payment as nothing was shown on the screen when I initially ordered it. I hv reached out to PayPal to get my refund back
I would never recommend this site as it is a total scam to cheat you of your hard earned money”
“PLEASE AVOID!!!!!
After 110 days since I paid for unlocking an iPhone 7 I still receiving emails with percentages when asking for update.
When asked for refund funny part comes and they telling you a lot of "terms" to avoid doing that.
I lost £66 with them. I don`t think this company really exists.
Reported to UK Customer Care”
“Extremely disappointing service, from what was advertised to be a seamless and quick process showing only the positive reviews on their site it turned out quite the opposite. Not only was the initial 24 promise time scale exceeded to actually unlock was an additional £40 and took a further week to process.
I raised my issues and was returned with cut and paste t&cs very impersonal and not reassuring in the slightest.
Companies like this with clever marketing and small print in very jargon like language make it impossible for the average person to trust to use. Care nil. Customer service nil.”
“Paid for an unlock on 18th November and am still waiting over a month later. Numerous emails to the support team are responded to with the same copy/paste reply. I don’t consider 40 days to be imminent by any stretch of the imagination. Now having to request a refund and change network to enable me to use my phone, which according to their own term and conditions should auto refund after an unsuccessful attempt after 30 days. I don't believe I will ever get the refund. Also when you call you get a message saying they are busy please leave a message we will get back to you and the call is also yet to happen.
The last email is below threateninging further charges should I complain through my bank to get the money back.
If a dispute is raised in the form of a chargeback this will be seen as an attempt to defraud the business and we would refer you to the terms and conditions accepted at the point of purchase , please be aware that a full report on the device status will be provided along with a copy of our terms and conditions accepted at the point of purchase and issued to the relevant bank in order to challenge the dispute raised and retrieve monies. We are able to successfully recover monies in cases where payment has been reversed or charged back. An additional charge for administration costs incurred of $100 would also be demanded and recovered
Despicable company, Avoid at all costs.”
