“Promised 5% discount to be accounted for on the payment page - did not get it. Their comment: "oops, sorry, we have technical issues" but I have spent my money already. Forces you to agree to receiving promotional material and some dubious privacy blah-blah when you sign up. Promises that you can unsubscribe using the email hot-link - This did not work. Their comment "oops, sorry, we have technical issues" They requested a review via email - with not a single instruction on how to write a review at www.reviews.co.uk. Nor was there a link allowing you to find the site. Now I find I cannot believe them on privacy either - due to "technical issues" To their Credit; when I sent them a Notice under section 11 of the Data Protection Act 1998 - to Unsubscribe, the beleaguered Ms Polly Harben was quick to respond with confirmation, guarantees and again an apology amounting to "oops, sorry, we have technical issues" Can I trust them - remains to be seen, 12 months from now...”

“The procedure on receiving a subscription gift from my daughter was not at all clear. However in emailing for help a Ms Polly Harben could not have been clearer or more precise, so well done her! Ian Davison”

“Ordered Good Housekeeping magazine for a friends birthday and this was easy to order, pay and print off order as it was a gift for a friend for her birthday and she was delighted with gift and can't wait for magazine to arrive!”

“The vouchers are a con I brought a £15 gift for my husband and there isn't one magazine you can subscribe to as a 'one off' for this amount...unless you sign up for a direct debit, still leaving you with a voucher! which wasn't the point of the gift. If he had liked a magazine after the initial 6 issues, then he could have chosen this option, but you don't want to commit to a direct debit straight away, that's what I thought the idea of gift vouchers was. Also the magazine he wanted is not available 'wonderepedia'. Which isn't that big of a deal, apart from, now there is nothing to spend the voucher on, even if he added £5 to this. All of the £15-20 deals are dd only - not able to redeem a gift card against....rubbish.”

“Easy to use. Had a problem where an email gift voucher failed to arrive - resolved quickly. Apart from this incident have had no problems and have used them several times and happy to continue.”

“No offer for combined postage - ordered 3 vouchers totalling £80 p&p total was £8.97. Each item was posted using two first class stamps (£1.24) and a small jiffy bag (~20p). No reason the items could not have been posted as one in a larger envelope.”

“It's a pleasure to deal with iSubscribe - when you telephone, you actually get a person to speak to! Almost unheard of these days. And they are unfailingly helpful - if there is a need to ring the publisher of a magazine and then come back to you with a reply - they do so, and quickly.”
