From initial enquiry, they were very forthcoming to be helpful. The vehicle I wanted was a good distance from home, but they brought it to me to test drive after work, which made the whole process much more relaxed - and meant I got to drive on my roads too. Following this, to purchase, everything was great - the car being delivered to my house after work, and taking care of all the paperwork at home made the process so much less stressful .

Richard took his time to ensure the car that we were buying was right for us. He kept us informed through every stage of the process. Handover was excellent and we both felt that could not have got a fairer deal anywhere else.

After numerous other makes this was our first Kia, and the first we bought from Jennings Kia in Stockton. The whole experience was very good. Chris, our salesman, listened to all our requirements, was up front and honest. We were not pressured at any point, and were allowed plenty of time to make our choice (we couldn't agree about the colour). The car was immaculate when we picked it up and Chris has answered all our queries quickly, with the minimum of fuss. All round a good experience. Our only gripe is the tea from the machine is not poor, we'll have water next time.

Firstly the staff.. our sale person Michael was excellent he made the whole purchase easy he kept his promises if he agreed to call me he did. He was professional and easy to deal with. The garage was easily accessible and clean and tidy brochures were available on the model I wanted also. The handover was smooth and on time also..an overall great experience.

We live in Stockton on Tees but we prefer to get our cars from South Shields Jennings. The staff are fantastic, they do not pressure you into a decision, they are not patronising. We especially would like to mention Mark and Paul. These are the people who have sold us our last two cars. My daughter has also bought a car from South Shields Jennings. Thank you

My sales executive, Eddie McCartney, was not pushy in any way. He went out of his way to sort out a good deal for me. The day I was due to collect my new car, Eddie ended up staying half an hour late due to me being held up and then forgetting a crucial piece of paper work at home, which he went out of his way to sort out for me. Not once did he complain about my inconveniences. In fact Eddie was calm and collected throughout all interactions with him. This man is an asset to your company and a real breath of fresh air in a world of ever increasing frustration and poor customer service. I will definitely be buying my next car from him. I am repaying his professionalism by waxing lyrical about him to anyone who will listen, I am sure Eddie will vouch that I can talk at length about most subjects. Great car, great service, great deal and a great bloke. Nice one.

I received excellent customer service from sales person Martin Jones. He looked round all the Fiestas with me that I was interested in and answered any questions I had. He wasn't pushy or impatient but very helpful, easy to talk to and he also sorted out my vehicle to trade in. He also explained all the relevant paperwork in detail.

Car not as expected on delivery due to inaccurate information being shared the company. Should have been taxed for 12 months but it wasn't. Poor standard of written communication when complaining about these issues.

Having initially been advised that a Seat Alhambra would be available for delivery in March, I ordered one in December. Early in March I called Jennings to inquire if my car would be available for collection on or near the 15th March, only to be told that there was no record of my order on the computer system. I drove into Jennings and spoke in person to a member of your sales staff. He assured me that there was no problem and that manufacturing delays meant that the car would not be ready until mid May. By late May no-one had been in contact so I went into Jennings and inquired about the expected delivery date? A member of the sales team accessed the computer and told me that the car would not be available until late August due to manufacturing delays ! I was less than impressed and asked to speak to a more senior member of the sales team. The young man assured me that nothing could be done as there was no Seat Alhambra cars available and that delays like this were not uncommon. Eventually a more senior member of the sales team arrived, and in his defense, he was limping as he claimed that a woman had just reversed into his leg. I began, remonstrating with his sales communication technique , or lack of it, when he informed me that he was very close to losing his temper with me !! Now I may be 65 years old and Registered disabled, but my many years in the armed forces has instilled in me a demand for respect when it's due. Being threatened by a Jennings sales representative, who by his own admission had failed to communicate with me and who admitted that his colleague had given me the wrong information, was like a red rag waved at a bull. Eventually, he agreed that the actual delivery date would be sometime in June. Since my first visit to Jennings until I eventually picked up my new Seat Alhambra, I have had only 2 phone calls or e-mails from Jennings, Middlesbrough. Now I am a member of several Armed Forces and Wounded Military Veterans online organizations, some of them recommended the Seat Alhambra for consideration as a motobility vehicle. We have, between the various organizations, hundreds of thousands of members, many of whom will qualify for motobility payments, due to their injuries sustained in action. When I'm asked by them if I would recommend the Seat Alhambra, I will have no hesitation in saying "Yes I would, recommend it". When I'm asked if I would recommend Jennings as a company to make that purchase, I will have to give my answer some serious consideration.

Jennings South Shields excellent service, courteous and helpful staff. Sales executive Mr Mark Taylor was especially helpful and made the buying experience an easy and pleasant one.
