About JENZA:

Who is JENZA? Can I trust them? And why don’t you ever answer our calls? (Mum??). So, (mostly) legit questions to ask before you book. JENZA is the travel love child of USIT and BUNAC – two originals of the work and travel world founded by students in 1959 and 1962. Yep, we’re old AF. But with that, comes a ton of wise old owl expertise and trust. Basically, these chaps may be so new they chafe – but it’s not our first rodeo. Working as one global team, JENZA has the backing of 65+ years of work abroad experience, but has been built for today’s travellers. Shaped by our Youth Advisory Panel and given the stamp of approval by our roadtesters, it’s all in our logo: You Shaped Travel.

“Jenza was very helpful by providing a lot of different information about New Zealand and a lot of options to ask questions. Especially, the one-by-one meeting on the last day helped me a lot by feeling more confident about my journey. The team is very friendly, caring and helpful. Thank you for your help.”

“booking the JENZA orientation program was the best idea we had. we got many information hand they helped us set up all the everything organizational. We had many opportunities to socialize and make new friends. We feel well prepared for our adventure.”

“After the two days I felt very informed about all things New Zealand and backpacking. The trip to Devonport was incredible, however I was a bit surprised about us having to organize our New Zealand bank account and mobile data.”

“Booking with JENZA was a good start to my working holiday visa experience. Communication from the main office was good leading up to leaving the UK. However, once I arrived there were some issues with receiving emails, so I would recommend double checking with the team if you haven't received anything. Once I arrived in NZ, Louise and Chantelle were really friendly and helpful. They provided lots of useful information about how to travel, accommodation and jobs. I feel happy that they will be there to contact and support me throughout the year with any issues that arise. Thank you, Lousie & Chantelle! On hindsight I think I would book the 4-day version, rather than the 8-day. As the extra 3 days are through a different company anyway.”

“I arrived in New Zealand and was completely confused and overwhelmed by everything. The Jenza team in New Zealand let this feeling go away entirely! They gave us every information we needed and every answer to our questions. I am really happy that I chose the orientation week with Jenza :)”

“I really enjoyed the time with JENZA, it was a really great way to start my work and travel adventure here. They gave us great tipps for jobsearch, buying a car and start. The only thing I might have misunderstood was about the SIM card. I thought I would get a sim card here but the team just gave us tipps where to buy it and what is important to know but if I would have known that earlier, I could have buy a cheaper sim at the aiport. But all in all I really enjoyed the time and feel more safe and confident now!”

“I was just searching for ways to work abroad and experience a new culture and luckily I found JENZA! I am so fascinated with all the programs they offer that leads me want to secure one for myself. Then one of their team reached me out via email named Chris and also I called him after exchanging emails. He was very helpful. He provided best options for me and he answered all of my queries. Also, he's so responsive and friendly. I look forward to start my process with JENZA to secure a Working Holiday Visa and Fulfill my dreams :)”

“The orientation helped me feel safe and confident. I felt really welcome and well received. Furthermore the orientation helped with idee how to travel around the country and what jobs I want to do. It was really good that it was not the feeling of teaching like in school. It felt a little bit like a group of friends. I had fun and I am really thankful especially for the one and ones.”
