“I purchased a Jones stand bag a year ago. I rarely use it as I have a cart bag. I recently took a trip to Bandon Dunes and brought the Jones bag with me. One of the screws on the legs fell off after 3 rounds, so I had to use one of the rentals from the course. Upon coming back home and reaching out to customer support, you sent me replacement screws. I have attempted to put the screws in several different times but have not been able to secure the leg, even after viewing video that was sent to me. Will not purchase again!”
“This bag is made in Vietnam, not Portland. Definitely not worth the $300 you'll spend. Thought it would be cool to have a US made bag with my name on it, but it's not nearly as nice as my Mizuno bag that was cheaper. It was a let down”
“My bag stand assembly has disconnected from the bag 2 times. Customer service gladly sent replacement parts but discouraged the engineering of the connection is so so poor.”
“So I purchased the Trouper and really you get what you pay for. I can't say this a great value or bang for your buck. I do not like that there are not full length dividers. I have oversized grips and my clubs get tangled constantly. The material the bag is made out of seems nice and looks like it may hold up but time will tell. I think the cooler pocket is completely useless. If I could return this bag to a store I would and probably go a different route with my bag.”
“I bought a golf stand bag and the bag clearly has a defective design. The wire is held to a plastic ring by a simple split washer. The split washer has come off twice and thus the stand legs don't extract away from the bag. Very cheap and poor design. Jones sent me new split washers, but the problem is much deeper than a simple split washer remedy. It's a design fault. I would like my money back for this bag. “I'm rating 2 stars primarily because I bought the golf bag based on doing the personalized writing on the bag. I'm disappointed in the placement on the bag of the writing and the actual size of the writing seems very small. Also, the online purchase makes it very difficult to see how the writing would look on the striped section of the bag. On one side, the stripes look like they cross out the writing. I should have known it was hard to do, but I assumed since the personalization was available it would have a better placement on the bag.
All in all, very disappointed in the bag.”
