Absolute scumbags. Lie about delivery times and refuse to give a refund. 30 min delivery time advertised turned into 2 hours. Don't waste your money, do not use.

We have used Just Eat a few times but they seem to be getting worse.... Two late deliveries in a row and no response to complaints... cold and soggy food... from usually OK restaurants.... Also we pay extra for this rubbish service and also the 20% off on Cheeky Tuesday is a con.... it is often cheaper to order direct from your favourite restaurant... check it out....

Only got 1 star as there was no option to give none. Ordered from our local Chinese, delivery ASAP, paid then found out delivery would be 1hr 20 mins later. Went to cancel the order straight away to be told that I would have to paid a cancellation fee of half the amount I'd paid as the food had been prepared.....1) I don't believe it had been prepared within 5 mins my order being placed and 2) I wouldn't want Chinese food prepared more than an hour before being delivered. This was only my second time using Just Eat, I won't be doing so again...appalling service. PS I don't blame the takeaway concerned and will continue to use them

MY MONEY HAS BEEN STOLEN!!! Placed an order at 6:30pm and told it would be with us by 7:45pm (okay not to bad for a Saturday night) Time went on and no delivery arrived. Used the update service via the website - got the usual response 'Your order is on its way'. After 2 hours still no delivery, then we receive an update you food is on its way!! Yippeeeeeee - as 2 x hungry kids sitting here waiting. Guess what - no delivery arrives!! Finally got fed up and called the restaurant to be told the food will be another 15 mins! When questioning them they finally stated that the order had not even been cooked yet!!! Told them to cancel the order and we would request a refund. Got on live chat to Just Eat as when calling I was 26 in the queue - that says it all really!! Finally got through to a 'Luka' who did the usual parrot responses and then cut the chat! Then called Just Eat, after hanging on for ages, to be told we cannot do anything today as the restaurant have marked the order as 'complete' we will have to pass this to the investigations team. Now we are 2.5hrs down the line and money I now don't have. 2 days later I called them for an update to be told by Jaqueline 'Sorry the ticket was not passed to the investigation team, I will do it now'. Following this I called the restaurant and told them the situation, they apologised and stated that will confirm their error to Just Eat when they make contact. I have today received an email stating that Just Eat have contacted the restaurant and the outcome is the food was cooked, delivered and received so no refund is being actioned!!! I have raised a complaint, I will be going on all review platforms to let everyone know that Just Eat STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!! ONE STAR IS TO GOOD A REVIEW FOR THESE COWBOYS!! DONT USE THEM!!

You are fooled into placing an order with a short estimated delivery time slot. As soon as you place order and pay, your then told that a driver is being assigned. This went on and on. I placed order at 19.25, was told 19.50......Driver was not assigned till gone 20.15 and food did not arrive untill 20.55. The food was cold and not in any protective food warming bag/container. DO NOT USE.😡

Stood, by the road, in a high viz with torch, waved at driver as he went past. Didn't stop. Then he called me, I explained he needed to come back up the road. He said that my house needs a number rather than a name, hardly my fault. He came back, I waved, he didn't stop, he then refused my return calls. I then called the restaurant (Yo sushi) who said I have to call Just Eat. I called Just Eat. They spoke to Deliveroo who said that a second driver was be assigned and the food would be returned to the restaurant for that driver to pick up and then deliver as the first driver couldn't find us. I waited outside in the rain for over an hour. No delivery was attempted. I called Just Eat again at 6:56pm, by this time the order was more than 2 hours and 15 minutes late. They spoke to Deliveroo who said the order had been delivered but no-one was in so they took the food away with them (even if that were true, why would you take it away with you?). Obviously, this did not happen. We were at home the entire time, and I was standing directly outside my home next to the road looking out for a delivery driver. The person I spoke to at Just Eat this second time said she could give me 50% cancellation as the order had been delivered but taken away. I demanded a full refund. The best she could do is pass it to their special investigations team, who would call me back within 48 hours. I explained that i have a legal right to a full refund and she said that she could not help. I asked to speak to her supervisor or someone with greater decision making capacity but she said that I couldn't but that her supervisor would call me back within 24 hrs. As it stands, I'm hungry and out of pocket.

Pathetic company. Don't give 2 sh!ts about their customers. Rude, incompetent and unhelpful. Basically thieves with a good cover business. Avoid at all costs

This company are ridiculous and impossible to get any customer service. I ordered from them on 20/10 to find out the takeaway was in fact closed. I asked for a refund and was told I could have half because I had cancelled. How am I liable for them taking my money for a takeaway that was closed. Eventually they agreed to refund in full I am still waiting 8 days later. I have had several lovely chats with their robot and each time been told a different excuse. #liars I will never use this company again. Avoid, avoid and avoid again!

They allow prejudice towards disabled people and do nothing to stop it. Clearly money is more important to them than human decency. We are avoiding Just Eat from now in, as are all my friends and family and twitter followers. Disgusting.

Meal did not arrive although marked as delivered . Rang Greggs who told me order was still with them. Despite repeated contact with customer services i have been repeatedly told someone will be in contact. This never happens. Looking at reviews on trustpilot Just Eat have done this to numerous customers. I would like my money back . Absolutely appalling service

Stay away! Been the customer of this "company" since 2014. Everything was OK until recently. I made an order on the 8th of October, the order was cancelled, but I have not got any refund. Chatted to Customer support, absolutely useless, just wasted 20 min of my life. Basically what they said was "we sent you money over, talk to your bank". Deleting app now and will never use these "professionals" again! Stay away...

Just eat is an absolute and utter disgrace! They are a dam joke! Fumin! The app shows on a map where the delivery driver is, I could see exactly where delivery driver was... first of all he took the absolute mik getting to the restaurant to pick up my order, then he drove to my house just to turn around & drive away again & go sit in a street around the corner, then he drove to the top of my street & sat there for more than 15 minutes! By the time he knocked on my door my food was clap cold so I contacted just eat which was an even bigger joke! The first chat agent didn't even help me with my issue told me to report it through the app section even though it didn't offer the option that I needed, I then went on chat again just to end up repeating myself over & over again! Eventually the chat agent decided to refund me for the food only so basically I paid £3.50 for delivery for the driver to sit around for so long that I received clap cold food which was a complete & utter waste of money. As if that is not bad enough I was then told that the only way of receiving the refund was by crediting my just eat account which by this time I just wanted to delete completely! I demanded that she return the money to my card which is how I paid & she told me that this was not possible which is an absolute & utter disgrace because they have then put me in a position where I am forced to order from them just to use the credit on the account so I told her to stick it & that they could keep the dam money because I will NOT be ordering again especially just to end up with some div driver that hands me cold food that I wish I never bothered ordering!!!!

Totally rubbish service. On two consecutive occasions my food has turned up unacceptably late or not at all. They put all the onus on the restaurant having responsibility for the order but this is completely false. My last order didn’t arrive because Just Eat still hadn’t assigned one of THEIR OWN delivery drivers 1.5 hours after I placed my order. It was not the restaurant’s fault. It’s a totally flawed business model and I’m not sure how much longer they’ll be able to get away with providing terrible service and then absolving themselves of all responsibility. Do not use them, place you order directly with the restaurant instead!

After a very long delay I spoke with Just Eat and found out that if I cancelled because of the delay, I would only get 50% back. What's more, they told me that if it didn't turn up at all, I would still only get 50% refund!!!! Surely, that's not legal. They have failed to keep their part of the contract. Just think people need to be aware of this.

Ordered at 7pm, told it would be there at 8.10. When it wasn't I contacted Just Eat. The take-away was always engaged. Just Eat said it would be another 20 mins. They were really unhelpful. They just weren't bothered. Eventually turned up at 9.50.

I posted a review as follows on just eat, and spoke to them online having been a customer of many years, and never complained to them before- and was told that they will not give me a refund. So therefore they have lost me as a customer. Review: Took 2 hours to deliver my order, 1 hour later than i was originally told it would be. Though just eat seem to have the order as delivered a half hour earlier than it actually was 8.30 as opposed to actually nearer 9. I asked for 2 updates at 8 and 8.25 approx , one of which said food would be with me at 8.30 (the time just eat have as delivered) However at 8.30 I got a call by the resteraunt to advise the chef had forgotten to do my order, and it would be later still. It was nearly 9 by the time i got it, over 2 hrs and the latest I have ever waited on just eat order (this is the first time i used this resteraunt and will never use them again). Before it arrived i asked for some money off, and then rec'd a text to say they had refused this on the basis it was late as the driver was stuck in traffic. Well all i can say is it mustve been some traffic to be over an hour lat, especially at 9 at night. Not only that in the phone call i rec'd there was no mention of traffic, only that the resteraunt had aparantly forgotten about me, even though on 2 occasions i sent reminders through just eat, 1 of which was a full hour before the actual. Food was delivered, and a half hour before i got a call to say it had been somehow forgotten. Finally the lamb curry lamb was not cooked properly, some of the lamb was near raw, and i have been ill all day. And most of the food, went into the bin. If i could give them less than 1 star I would, and i will be asking for a FULL refund through just eat

Never used just eat before but I received a £50 gift card. Ordered £17 worth of food using my email which is the same email as my account with them, however it let me log in as a guest so I have lost £33 credit. Rang up and a supervisor named Joseph rang me back and was extremely rude saying it’s my fault I should have checked the terms and conditions even when they don’t pop up when you redeem and are not on the back of the card. They won’t transfer the £30 from my ‘guest account’ to my actual account. Absolutely money grabbing someone has bought it from them so they have the money regardless and now have robbed it from me. Not to mention spent £8 on a 11 minute calling trying to resolve the problem whilst the arrogant supervisor was being rude. Avoiding this money grabbing company at all costs. Reading previous reviews clearly to them they think they can get away with stealing from customers and that customers are wrong.
