SCAM!! they give no real advice and trick you into signing up for a membership. Paid £5 for advice, which was the same as I got from google, and today i saw they took £38 for a membership i didn't agree to!

JustAnswer is a devious company. They sign you up for a monthly membership without making that clear. So even though you think you're paying a one-time-fee, a few days later they will hit you with a monthly membership fee. (£50 in UK) In my case I was asking for legal advice and paid for a phone call. The advice given was very basic ... no better than I could get for free on google. So a waste of money. Worse, I was lured into the phone call as it sounded like the advice would be worthwhile. So they induced me into a situation where I paid for sh1t advice and then they charged me £150 over the next 3 months until I realised that they were repeatedly charging me. An awful company. Avoid. Update, 22/9/23: JustAnswer asked me to update this review after they refunded me the £150. Although I am glad to have got my money back it doesn’t change my opinion. Devious business practice. If they want positive reviews they should change their business ethics.

I did not get the correct answer + lost my credit score!! I asked a legal question. The person answering me was clearly not an expert in the field. Gave me wrong and unrelated answers. I first tried to explain more and direct her to my question. But, then I gave up. I was told to pay $5 fully refundable. But then two days later they charged me £50 for membership! Apparently, they had done such before and had complaints against them. So, my bank called me before authorizing the payment, I denied, and then had to cancel my credit card and ask for a new one with an adverse impact on my credit score!! Date of experience: August 25, 2023

States £5 for a question...then takes £50 for membership. Read the small print. Customer service no chance of getting money back.

This site is an absolute scam. It should be illegal. Firstly they offer no real advice of any value at all, secondly they continues to charge your card even after you cancel. I paid for almost a year after cancelling many times and each time I requested a refund they refused. Stay away. It’s a scam.

It’s a scam company, they tried to ripping me off from my bank with £30 on 14 of august. Luckily I didn’t have money on it

Scam, they ask £1 for membership then refuse to help unless you call them at a cost of £16, avoid at all costs.

Useless! On hold for an hour, nobody answered the question and charged me £5 for nothing, luckily saw these reviews and went in and cancelled the membership that I never signed up for! SCAM - do not use it.

I got a parking note 2 months ago and wanted some help to see if I could not pay it. I had to speak with 3 different "experts" and all of them wanted to give me the shortest possible answers and finish quickly. Their answer was nothing useful as was just info I could find on Google in 2 minutes. Today I realised that I have been changed 2 months of membership at a total cost of £100 even though I didn't sign up for it. I only wanted to use it as an one-off service. Today, I contacted the customer service team which was very rude as they didn't answer my question properly and ended the chat mid-way through our conversation. I have cancelled the membership now but I am still £100 out of pocket. I would give them 0 starts if I could. Not only the "experts" were useless, but they also hide very well that when you sign up you end up into a membership automatically rather than just paying for the service you need. Avoid at all cost, what a scammy company.

Scam do not yous this service £5 then £50 out your bank It auto takes your money and you don’t get it back All the banks fraud department are aware of this site and are trying to block them

I read an advert about Justanswer I had never heard of them before so I contacted and I was charged £5 I didn't mind paying that for an answer but next on turn my question went to a solicitor I messaged quickly to cancel but they ignored it and went on to write the answer and charged me £43 I was so upset because they had taken my last money even though I had cancelled . Its a clever way to get money because once they have bank details the money is gone within seconds. Don't make the mistake I made.

I am shocked to deal with such horrific service and despicable experience. I do not know how they are legally working. They asked if I want advice, I clicked yes, and afterwards they inform me is £50. I called within 30 seconds and cancelled the "membership" with their advisor, it has been confirmed cancelled, it is cancelled on the order history but for the last 2 months they still charge my credit card. I would never use them and do not recommend to anyone.

It's a scam....and if you see positive reviews don't fall for it, it's all made up. They tried to scam me for £50 , as they had my debit card details and used it to try n debit my account. Fortunately I was saved, my bank blocked my debit card assuming it's fraud. Bloody scammers!!!

I have seen a lot of negative reviews, but my experience was positive. "Just answer" do upsell - The total cost was £38.60, but I received a phone call from a GP within 20 mins - Highly recommended

They took £5. For a trial that they said they would refund . They didn’t refund me . They wanted to speak on the phone at a cost of £44.00 I refused and said I want to cancel . I haven’t heard from them sinse . This has taught me never to give bank details online . I hope they get caught . Very nasty individuals . BEEARE.
