“Web site good, staff very helpful - I could not fault the professionalism or helpfulness of the staff in any way. Excellent people to deal with. However, very, very badly let down by their chosen cowboy courier (DX). The courier (DX) attempted delivery twice bit did not leave a card (or notify anyone). I still have the CCTV of both attempts showing the courier ring the door bell then leave [definitely no card]). DX then told justoffbase a bare faced lie that they had definatley left a card both times. And when Dodgy DX finally delivered, the item was scuffed and dented (very carelessly treated). I would NOT recommend justoffbase unless you can get 100% assurance they will NOT use DX as the courier.”

“Having never ordered from Justoffbase before I was surprised how easy the ordering and how prompt the delivery was. The Hyundi Rotovator turned up next day and was exactly as described. Would certainly recommend them and use them again.”

“Very speedy delivery. We feel the product (a large metal tool cabinet) is slightly twisted so that the drawers cannot close smoothly, but this may have been a fault in manufacture rather than due to heavy manhandling during delivery - and the problem will be resolved once the cabinet is full of heavy tools”

“WARNING THIS COMPANY DOES NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS REGISTERED OVERSEAS. Warning - this company accepted my order via their website ,including the overseas billing address, and then cancelled the order with no explanation. Had to call to find out what happened. Claims to have sent e-mail and claims to have tried to contact me but no e-mail received and no missed calls. Called to find out why and experienced what I would describe as extremely poor level of Customer service and no interest whatever in improving their process.”

You are correct in that we do not accept cards registered outside of the UK. It is a common misconception that when you clear the checkout, in any store, you have 'Paid' but that is simply not the case. Many fraudulent orders are placed with cards where the delivery address is not the registered card address. In these cases, and the many frauds we have averted, that is the single hallmark. The single biggest issue retailers such as ourselves suffer, is not being able to distinguish fraud orders, from the genuine ones. The other big misconception with this, is that in the case where the genuine cardholder denies the transaction, the funds are simply withdrawn by the issuing bank, leaving the retailer with a total loss. Only consumers have this fraud protection, which is not provided by the banks but only by the banks taking payments back from retailers. We are sorry for your trouble. Justoffbase
