“I ordered 2 tops but neither fitted so returned and was refunded with no problem. Surprised at some of the negative reviews and if I had seen these before ordring I wouldnt have ordered! But I had no problem and would recommend. Also response on FB was good and helpful.”

“Bought the leather trenchcoat cost over three hundred pounds the lining is atrocious a six year old could have done it better so the coat doesn’t hang right sending back so disappointed”

“I have just received the Karen Millen leather trenchcoat I am appalled at the quality the lining looks like a child has sown it on such bad workmanship over three hundred pounds so disappointing for a label I had such high expectations”

“Terrible quality. Cheap thin polyester. Why bother bringing it back when the quality is so bad. Now such a rip off. That was regrettably my last purchase. RIP Karen Millen clothing.”

“I've been wearing Karen Millen for 25 years and always loved the excellent quality and unique designs. I have dresses, jackets and suits in my wardrobe that have never gone out of style and look as good now as when I bought them. How disappointing then that, having been taken over by BooHoo, the quality has nosedived so dramatically. My order of 3 t-shirts, a top and a dress arrived this morning. I haven't been able to buy KM for a couple of years as I have been on Carer's Allowance while I looked after my Dad but I came into some funds and decided to treat myself. I was especially pleased that they had a sale on - 40% off everything! It sounded almost too good to be true - and of course it was! There's nothing really 'wrong' with the items, they are probably worth what I paid for them (apart from the dress which has a REALLY cheap plastic belt which I will be throwing away) and, reading others' experiences of returning goods, I will be keeping them but they certainly won't be part of my wardrobe in ten or even 5 years time, unlike my KM classics. The t-shirts don't even have a KM label in them, only the cardboard tag identifies them as anything other than bog standard cheapy Ts. It's a sad day indeed. Take a tip from me and go on Ebay to buy genuine KM items which will last years. You'll be doing the environment a favour too.”

“I used to love Karen Millen, just purchased a dress and it’s nothing like the quality it used to be. Bad fit and really cheap fabric. Please don’t use the Karen Millen label, it’s deceiving customers.”

“Just received two t shirts as rage previous one I had was lovely,made in Portugal and great quality. I had no idea that they were now made in Bangladesh. The quality is poor and the cut and fit not good as I ordered same size as the previous one thinking it would be the same , Marks and Spencer do better and that’s not saying much! Can’t be bothered to return them ok for round the house but wouldn’t wear the, out v disappointed.”

“Waiting over two weeks for a refund...after tracking my parcel to see it was received in their warehouse weeks ago! I hadn’t realised Karen Millen are in fact now ‘Boohoo’ ...explains everything so I won’t be ordering from them again.”

“I have just recieved my Latest Karen Millen dress, and the quality is really bad. The stitching, the feel, the large gold plastic buttons, small sizing, the way the label is stiched in, the list is endless, plus it is creased up, which is not what I would expect from a knit body con dress. I am so dissapointed as my Karen Millen dresses have always lasted for years and years. I did wonder what would happen when I heard BooHoo had taken over, and basically they have turned it to market fast fashion tat. Will be returning asap.”

“I am so disappointed with Karen Millen. I ordered an evening dress which was delivered crumpled and creased in an old bag. It should have been delivered on a hanger with a plastic cover. I was charged £5 delivery charge for a substandard product. This is a matter of principle. Next deliver in the correct way why can’t a so called reputable company like Karen Millen?”

“Incredibly disappointed, goods received are a bad imitation of the garments displayed on the KM website. Have been buying KM clothes instore and online for many years - for 2 reasons : Style and Quality. Thats why they cost a bit more than other high street stores. However, since the change of ownership to Boohoo, the products are Boohoo quality (terrible, disposable fast fashion) but the prices have remained the same. Boohoo have destroyed this once iconic brand. My advise - avoid at all costs - what you see online is not what you will receive.”

“I have shopped both online and in store with Karen Millen numerous times over the years but this time I received a import tax upon delivery for almost $200! No advance notice that I may incur such an expense and no recourse such a cancellation but was told by Karen Millen I would be breaking the law if I did not pay. Never will I again shop with this store.”

“Oh my god! It was my favorite brand! I bought there 20-30 items every year! Now it is terrible design, terrible quality! Where? Where is my KM??? :(((( it is so difficultly to find dresses now. I put pictures of actual items... who will put it on?”

“Poor quality, cheap fabrics, No design flare, terrible returns service, you need to drop the Karen Millen label, Karen Millen is associated with quality and the customers were happy to pay for quality, since it’s changed ownership it’s turned into nothing more than market stall quality. Will not be ordering from them again.”

“Terrible quality of goods and not true to size. Fake products. Their suggested refund policy of 28 days is illegal. According to EU law, the trader must give a refund within 14 days of the cancellation/return. In addition they make you pay for a return form which is illegal as well. In any case they are obliged by EU law to refund these costs. I provided proof that my return has arrived but they keep saying it has not arrived. I am still waiting for the refund of the payment I made for the return forms. DO NOT BUY from them. Stay away!! It's a fraudulous company.”

“I am saddened by the now quality of Karen Millen, it was my favourite shop! The quality of the fabrics and designs were beautiful. I have ordered numerous tops and dresses since boohoo have taken over and I just find their standard of clothing completely sub standard! What a shame. I just can’t find another brand like it.”

“I'm not buying from Karen Millen, Bohoo, Pretty Little things and now I believe they've added Warehouse and Oasis. It is such a sad state of affairs. I really do long for the gone years. For them to continue using the name Karen Millen is an absolute insult.”
