“After receiving my order, it's clear why they offer some of their products at a budget price. In this case, the quality of the Axis Low mens walking shoes was very poor, with a lining that does not fit the shoe and would irritate the foot during use. The fact that I had to pay for delivery and pay again to return a low quality product is very disappointing. Will not be using Karrimor again.”

“The walking boots arrived promptly and look fine. A drawback was that only one of them had a lace in it, so not much use at present. I emailed customer services yesterday morning and await a reply. Happy to review this rating if they deal with my query, as everything else is fine.”

“I was really looking forward to receiving my karrimor backpack but due to Yodel delivery service I probably never will. I did contact karrimor about that but just received an automated reply which was disappointing. Hopefully one day I'll be able to actually get my backpack.”

“Collected trainers ok put them on and one of the lace loops pulled straight of. will now have to return them for a replacement. Have been wearing your trainers for 7 years now and the quality of these one seem to be very poor. Am very disappointed.”

“Online shop was easy to navigate once I was there and price was good. However, I was not sure who I was buying from at one point having been bounced around through two seemingly different retailers. Postage was frustratingly slow due to Yodel refusing to leave the parcel as a signature was required despite writing a waiver and signing it..... Ended up driving 40 mile round trip to collect the trainers. Great trainers by the way, just won't be using online option again.”

“Ordered a jacket which went through on the order but then wasn't available. Not a problem in itself but remaining goods were sent and P&p was almost as much as remaining items cost. Would have cancelled if given the option”

“Bought two pairs of ladies running shoes. One trail shoes which were perfect - had them before. The others not trail, same size (5.5) but they were too small. Now returning them in the hope that half size up is OK. Inconsistent and a nuisance. Trail shoes perfect.”

“Their web site is easy to use and navigate, not over engineered like some web site, I have seen. Their prices are competitive compared to other web sites, I have used in the past. Shipping took a little longer than I expected, which should not be the case since they are using DHL. Some web sites offer free shipping for orders over a certain amount. Not so with SportsDirect. In fact, they charged me over £12 in shipping charges to Denmark, which I consider outrageous after I spent over £220 on their web site. The products I bought (Karrimor) were of excellent quality as expected. I might use their web site again next time I want to buy some Karrimor products. However, the shipping charges will make me look for an alternate web site.”

“Item i ordered was sent in the wrong colour, I ordered pink and it arrived in black. Was a xmas present for my niece so was a pain to sort the refund and purchase new present. Whilst the refund process itself was simple, I paid for delivery on the initial purchase which was not refunded. I also had to pay to send the item back, so overall was left out of pocket.”

“Really disappointed with my trainers. Eagerly awaited their arrival because I am desperate for a new pair but sadly they didn't fit. I am generally an 8 to 8.5 shoe size. I ordered a 9 and could just about get my foot into them but couldn't walk in them let alone run. Had to send them back.”

“Quite disappointed actually. I ordered 2 pairs of walking shoes 1/2 a size bigger than usual when,I tried them on they were tight!!!. I have sent them back to you and asked for an 11.I am a 10 in everything else Trouble is it cost me £12.98 in postage!!!! I don't think I will bother ordering this sort of thing online again”

“Good communication / website / notification. However... Oredered from Karrimor website. Collected item from sports direct as per order details. Items in sealed bag. checked contents in store, but when I arrived home I found a magnetic security tag still attached to one of the items (sigh!). I will now have to make another journey to sports direct or break off the tag. The sports direct in question does not have any nearby free parking and keeps office hours on weekdays which means a trip to a shopping area at a weekend (sigh!) Hence the poor overall rating, either I commit an hour or more of my life to see if the tag can be removed in Sprts Direct or I risk breaking it off.”

“the boots arrived in a very shabby box, had been out to someone else before as the packing paper inside was all screwed up, the boots looked ok, but I have worn them today and they are most uncomfortable, I do not know if I can bear to try them again as they have really made my one ankle very sore.”

“Disappointed that I purchased something from Karrimor, and only afterwards discovered that I had bought something from Sports Direct. I really think it should be prominent on your website that people are actually on a Sports Direct website, instead of pretending to be something else.”
