“Your variety of products available is good but the delivery is not up to standard. I had requested it to be delivered "Under security gate (under cover)" but the courier often puts it in the mail box where the bottles can be broken or left in the sun for too long”
“Product is competitive but their choice of delivery by Australia Post resulted in a disappointing outcome which delayed the delivery and lost the moment of surprise. It resulted in my daughter having to pick up the package from the post office despite having been home on the day of the supposed delivery day. 🤨”
“Their website lets you leave a message for the receiver of a gift. However, after finalising payment I was later contacted by a representative of Kent Street Cellars to advise that I needed to pay an extra $4 for a card if I wanted my message to be attached to the parcel. What annoyed me is that by the time I received the email and responded, the gift was now going to be a day late. Surely they can fix their website so there are no surprises or unnecessary delays.”
“There is not enough variety in your wines, and the appellations are not carefully delineated. More missing is the description of the vintage and the product's rating on the various platforms, like the fact that there are more options available in terms of delivery, and overall the above is good. For specific reference, you can look at Nickswine.”
“Ordering and delivery experience A1, 5 stars. But way, way, way too many emails from you to the point I had to unsubscribe which dragged you down to 3 stars.”
“Enjoyed every drop ordered. Delivery always prompt and efficient. The problem comes down to marketing online. The wines offered often have these 'Buy Now' buttons. One is obliged to press these to discover the price. If it is unwanted or too expensive, an auto-prompt email follows reminding one disingenuously that an order may be incomplete.
Too contrived and aggressive a marketing ploy for me. so I no longer investigate these wines. What a pity, because, had the price been transparently provided, instead of what seem tricksy ploys, I would probably explore more.
Perhaps this strategy exists because it brings greater profit to the company, but I do not believe it provides greater ease of selection to the customer.
Thank you.”
“Online system was clunky, especially gift card input. Card went to person but no 'from' name. Also no section to withhold invoice so I fear the recipient of my gift was privvy to its cost (after he spent a week trying to work out who it was from).”
“This was my first time ordering through Kent St Cellars. I felt there could have been more communication about my delivery. I didn't even realise it had been delivered.
Thanks”
“I would have given you five stars but the lime cordial you sent me was very old stock and due to expire April 2023. It is much darker in colour than usual which is why I checked the expiry date. Had I known I would not have ordered four bottles.”
“the order was processed and dispatched promptly. The courier claimed they could not deliver on their first attempt "because you were out" which was strange given that the delivery address was a large office building in the Brisbane CBD and it was a week day. They delivered the following day.
The whisky was quite poorly packed - the bottle was free to slide within the metal container and had heavily dented the top and bottom of the can - this clearly indicated some pretty heavy blows of the bottle against the lid and base of the can. The can was just loosely wrapped with some bubble wrap and was free to roll around inside the cardboard box. I would anticipate breakages if this is the standard quality of packing.”
“Kent street cellars provide fast and convenient alcohol options however using aramex as a delivery service really ruined the experience. Took almost a week for a delivery 20kms away with limited updates”
