Kwik fix Hexham. Dave and the team are great. Booked in for a qiuck brake fluid change, when I realised I needed an MOT as well. They managed to arrange jobs so I could pick up my son from school on time and all sorted. I don't normally recommend people, but would happily recommend Kwick fix Hexham (Tyne green) after a number of positive visits

Booked car in to Kwik Fit, Foss Islands, York, for battery check. Greeted by Chris who was very efficient and chatty. Left car with them and received a phone call within 30 minutes to say check completed. They gave me a good explanation of the results and provided me with a printout of said results. No hard sell and would definitely use them again for this service.

I booked my car in for an oil and filter change at Kwik Fit Lisburn. My amber engine management light had come on a few days before and I asked my mechanic to have a look at the car. After putting the car on the diagnostics machine he recommended a) The oil to be changed as it was a little gloopy and a new filter and b) A sensor in the exhaust was faulty and needed replaced as it was causing the car to stall every now and again and it was the reason the engine management light was on. My mechanic was happy to do both jobs for me and advised neither were extremely urgent but I had to wait two weeks for him. Due to the fact that he had mentioned the oil and the filter I preferred to get that part completed asap and Kwik Fit had an immediate slot available so I grabbed it. I booked online which meant paying in full the day before and I called Lisburn before paying to make absolutely sure they would have the filter in stock as it meant closing my business for the time it took to complete the job. Everything was agreed and I attended the appointment ahead of time with my 3 year old son. On arrival I met with the manager who I knew straight away didn't really want me to be there based on his horrible attitude. I attempted to lighten the mood by entering into conversation about the car and how busy mechanics were these days but his mood did not change. I expressed how happy I was that I could get an appointment at such short notice and I mentioned how relieved I would be to get one of the two jobs I needed completed so quickly. I went on to explain what my mechanic had advised and he took great pleasure in immediately refusing to touch my car based on "Kwik Fit policy." This policy, that still remains a mystery to me, states that if your car has an engine fault they cannot work on your car at all. I asked for a copy of the policy to be told it "isn't written down anywhere." I said I would sign a disclaimer which I was told wasn't an option. I explained about the sensor being the reason for the engine management light being on but that explanation wasn't accepted. Long story short after the manager basically abused me for thirty minutes he then threw me out of his garage and I was stuck in Lisburn without the money I had paid to Kwik Fit and no repair. I contacted customer services who did seem to be taking me seriously at first but then just referred me to an area manager who said he was fully aware of the Lisburn managers poor communication skills and inability to deal with customers but he was correct to not fix the car. In the meantime I had called all ten Kwik Fits in Northern Ireland and explained that my engine management light was on, my car was stalling and my oil and filter needed changed and seven of the ten were happy to book me in straight away as it seems they are also completely unaware of this "policy." I asked the area manager for a copy of the policy but he could not produce it either. I told the area manager that seven of the ten branches would complete the repair and he didn't seem too concerned. I explained that when booking online there are no questions asked about issues with your car but this was brushed aside. In a nutshell I will never ever ever go back to Kwik fit for anything and I wont be recommending anyone ever does either.

Had a puncture and had 230 mile trip to get home , went to 3 different depots and not one would try to fix it , told me they could do it 3 days later , won’t ever use a kwik fit ever again

Kwik fit canal street Perth should be 0 stars Avoid, dishonest and took advantage of my 22 year old daughter, more interested in upselling than providing good customer service. When complained they deny what they actually said. You can’t win. Will be raising a complaint with the motor ombudsman and trading standards.

Bunch of rob dogs. Overcharged me and did excessive work on my car. Which did not solve the problem. Never use them again.

Called in as had an alert regarding oil pressure in my car. Turns out I had no oil in my car or water! I have booked a service. They sorted the oil and water free of charge. I had been to another garage for this assuming I needed oil as went as soon as the emergency alert went on and was quoted £800 Plus vat to replace something. This quotation was done from literally just viewing my engine space. So glad I went with my instincts to Kwick Fit Woodchurch Road Birkenhead

I booked and paid for a brake fluid change (on-line) last night and was given a 12 noon slot to take my car to the Brighouse branch of Kwik Fit. I arrived a few minutes early and was asked to leave my car/key with them. I asked why? and was told that they were very busy and had lots of jobs in. I said that I was willing to leave it for an hour (brake fluid changes are not time-consuming) only to be told that they couldn't tell me when it would be ready. He said that as well as the fluid change, they had to undertake a 45 minute brake check! I told him to cancel the job as I hadn't got all day to await it. He then tells me that I can't have a refund today because I had paid on-line, and that the employee who deals with refunds wasn't in. I drove a 12 mile round trip and wasted time/diesel to be treated like my custom is pretty much worthless. Don't let them get away with this disgraceful way of treating customers. Terrible service.

I went to Kwik fit for first time yesterday. Dereham road Norwich branch. 100% satisfaction courtesy kindness helpful from Tim Sarsby .who dealt with my problem.came away feeling there is good people . He got me a new mirror for driver side car ,after a foolish person broke mine by going past fast and close. My husband has Alzheimer’s and I full time carer and have to do everything . Car problems not my thing at my age . So the help and support made my day. Thankyou so much .

Kwikfit put new oil in my car without draining the old, despite written report from other garage which fixed it,still trying to get Kwik-fit to admit it and pay for what it cost me to put right.

Glasgow road, Dumbarton. Utter crooks. They said I needed a new exhaust and would charge me to store car overnight while new one arrived!!! Took it another local and they replaced a hanger! Not the first time I've heard this either. Avoid!!

My recent visit to Kwik fit was fantastic. Despite the garage being busy, they fitted me in and were just so helpful. I could see they were rushed off their feet but just so polite, Shane the manager was just lovely. I can’t thank them enough! Would recommend

Really bad customer service which may cost us about 4000 pounds. Kwikfit Giffnock on Fenwick Road, Glasgow incorrectly entered the mileage during Mot in 2022 to my wife’s car adding 20000 miles onto the mot certificate. Then said they couldn’t change it and would have to go through another mot so they could add a note onto the new mot…this was done but now my wife’s car can’t be taken as a part exchange worth 4000 pounds when buying a new car as the system at the national mileage register has not been updated and kwikfit are stating they can’t contact dvsa to change the mistake as there is NO proof of the original mileage in the first place and even though it is clear that it is the testers mistake, Kwikfit say there is nothing they can do with regards to an official change at dvsa. All they can do is issue an apology but that doesn’t help the situation as anyone taking the car as part exchange is insisting that this register be updated instead of showing a 20k mileage doscrepency when the cars mileage os searched.Now my wife is u able to sell this car. Customer service person who is apparently the manager at customer care team at kwikfit confirms this is all Kwik-Fit can do in this case.

booked in for tracking as new tyres fitted and pulling to left since. booked in 9am 27/12/23 the car placed onto tracking jig and printout showed both front and rear needed alignment. then told to busy to do so am now having to book Elsewhere..

I would like to mention about my visit to KwikFit at Richfield Avenue in Reading today, where nothing seems to have gone well. Hope the below details will help you to assess if there is anything wrong as a whole with that centre. First and foremost thing - didn't see anyone who looked like they are experienced. After the car went on ramp, they informed that rear tyres are best if replaced along with front tyres as the rear ones are only left with 3mm tread on them. I have informed them, I'll have to come back for that with a different appointment. I firmly believe it didn't go well with them and things started going bad from there on. The following things which I have requested on the order placed were not even verified and fedback. if they are not going to be verified, why to have that line-item? may be for promotional purposes!! Battery health check Visual breake check Wheel alignment check Express tyre fitment line item is a joke by itself. Took almost 1.5hrs to just change tyres without doing any of the aforementioned checks. Once the car is I handed over to me, had to go back to have the air in tyres re-done on rear passesnger side tyre. No clue why they had to mess with rear passenger tyre when the work requested is to replace front two tyres - isn't it a classic malpractice? When I went back to get the air re-done, they are deliberately taking forever attending to it and focusing on clerical work which is literally nothing to be done. As a whole I spent around 2hrs just to get 2 tyres changed - from 15:35hrs to 17:40hrs. What a shame, haven't come across this kind of 'express tyre fitment' in the last 20+ years. I have requested that I dispose the tyres myself in Reading recycling centre, but they informed that tyre disposal money that was charged won't be refunded!!! Why? It is not required by law that I dispose the tyres through you and when you aren't disposing the tryes for me, you have no right to charge me, do you? Very unhappy with the experience today at KwikFit
