“If I could give Lands End a NO star review, I would. I recently ordered 2 pairs of leggings. I couldn't get one pair on past my knees! I successfully tried on the other pair but thought it was too tight (across the bum) for me to keep. How can there possibly be that much difference between two pairs of leggings that are supposed to be the same "size"? So, basically, I just lost $14.95 (shipping each way) in order to try on 2 pairs of leggings - poor material; poor craftsmanship; one a ridiculous fit. The saddest part is I used to love this company; once upon a time their products were excellent. Not anymore. Bye Lands End.”

“I love the jacket but the two way zipper is terrible. The second jacket is the same. I even watched your video. What's going on with the zippers?”

“I have to agree that their coat zippers have gone downhill. This is the second winter coat I bought from them with a faulty zipper. I called customer service and the woman was trying to tell me that it was not the zipper but it was me not knowing how to use it. "Zippers are tricky" she said. At that point I mentioned that I have a doctorate degree and I mastered zipping up my clothes back in kindergarten. So yeah. All their coats have the same zippers she said. As such, I am returning this one and buying from a company that buys good zippers!”

“Ordered fresh evergreen centerpiece for 95 year old aunt. Aunt said it looked like someone threw this thing together and was awful, plus it needed spritzing daily ( really, no container for water? Spritzing on your wooden dining table????) Customer service said only way to get replacement/other item was to return centerpiece. Under these circumstances (95 year old who has neuropathy and trouble getting around) she must now repack item, mail back before they will credit/replace. I get it for clothes, shoes, etc. but an evergreen that will die?????? I deal with tv shopping channels a lot and they NEVER make you return food/living items. Lands End, I’ve been a long time customer- that’s DONE!!!!”

“Prices are great until you actually go to pay online. % deductions change!!! I cancelled my order due to a price increase at checkout of $25-30 dollars. I called the 800# & though she agreed she could not do anything without help from someone and I was on hold long enough!! Not worth my time- Lands End!”

“Bought Lands' End water shoes at sears few years back. Glue on product deteriorated, & sole on one split into 3 pieces. Called Lands' End & was encouraged to return product as it's "guaranteed to life". "If you're not satisfied with any item, return it at any time for an exchange or refund of its purchase price." Cost me about $10 to return item, & Lands' End rep called to tell me they will credit me only for $12. She encouraged me to send an additional $28 to get replacement. SCAM!!!”

“Want to return an ugly dress and was considering an exchange but their methods are impossible. In this day of free shipping and easy returns, they are horrible. If I wanted an exchange it would take 3-4 weeks to get the new item and I would still have to pay 6.95 for shipping back original dress. First and last purchase from Lands End”

“I have purchased underwear for my husband a couple of times from Lands End. After a few months the underwear starts ripping away from the elastic band. I have called Lands End and they tell me I must send back the underwear and they will send my out new underwear. My credit card is charged and will be credited back once the items are returned. I find this practice not acceptable. I am willing to take pictures and email them the pictures. I know have three more pair that are falling apart. This products is not cheap. Guess I will not be buying underwear from Lands End .”

“What had been a "Men's Super-Tee" for years is now apparently a dismal and cheap shadow of its former self. Despite no changes to the "Super-Tee" online product description (or the price), what I paid for and received was a "Very Mediocre Tee". Disappointing to see LE quality going downhill.”

“I bought a jacket/coat from Lands' End and I couldn't believe the cheap zipper that was on this jacket/coat. I have many of your winter jackets and none of them have this kind of plastic like zipper. Unfortunately, I threw out the box before I realized this. My family has bought many pants. shirts, underwear, pajamas etc. and I am so disappointed in the quality of this jacket/coat. Your going down hill.”

“Great quality clothing, well made with practical details, like pockets in the right places, two way zips. Particularly great for petite fit like me. Items sent quickly. You need to pay for returns, but Hermes option really cheap and refunds done swiftly. If I've ever had any problems the customer service has been excellent. Have shopped with them for over 10 years.”

“I ordered the half zip fleece top for ladies, I have several now, they are not the same! Very cheaply made! The sizing is way off too. What happened to Lands End quality.? I couldn't be more disappointed. Scrap the big discount catalogs and bring back the quality!!”

“I purchased a Parka jacket which I didn't think was very durable. Customer services emailed me back on the same day with 5 different alternatives. I later exchanged for one of the options but found the personal feedback very helpful and informative.”
