Promised 4-5 delivery date, then when called found out they were out of stock. I bought from Leaderstore due to their availability (they were not the cheapest), so therefore cancelled order and bought from someone else who was cheaper (I had to wait for delivery - but exactly the same time as Leaderstores)

Hi Robert, Thanks for the honest feedback you have given us, we appreciate it very much. Apologies first of all for the delay on the stock of the doors you had ordered. These doors are advertised on a 3-5 day lead time and this is generally the case. As they are ordered in from XL Joinery we ocasionally find that items can temporarily go in and out of stock which is usually rectified with a few days. This is down to the fact that they are highly popular products. We're working on improving our service by integrating with suppliers live stock feeds wherever we can. We've already got this up and running for a number of suppliers but unfortunately not everyone provides these as regularly as we'd like. It is something we're aware of and we're trying to address as we speak, we hope to have even more online very soon. The product was good, the delivery was late, due to the website claiming that the product is in stock when it was out of stock, and I made sure that the product I'm ordering is in stock as I was short on time. I have then made an amendment to the quantity of the product, called LeaderStores up, explaining the situation, was told that it has all been clarified and I will receive the amended quantity of my ordered product the next day. When the delivery turned up, the quantity was wrong, had to call up again to explain and ask for another delivery. Basically been held up for about a week before all got sorted out. If you're in a hurry I will not recommend this website. Otherwise price is good, and that's about it.

Good Afternoon Przemyslaw Piotrowicz, Thanks for the honest feedback, we really value your opinion. I apologise that the order as a whole wasn't perfect and that you sufferred issues. It looks as though there was a miscommunication on the order, which lead to the Customer Services team not leaving a correct note on the order, this then caused the incorrect quantity to arrive. I have waited 3 weeks still has not arrived driver can not find address ERM sat nav and no courtesy call or anything iv had to ring leader 4 times then delivery firm 5 times they going to try again tomorrow if it doesn't arrive I'm afraid I will cancel never had a service this bad before items from China has arrived quicker .

Returns policy is much too narrow. Before I had a chance to check the product, it had expired and they refused an exchange (size was incorrect).

Hi Brendan, We do offer 14 Day Returns on ALL orders, so from the day you receive delivery you have 14 days to check over the items and report any issues/incorrect items or even if you simply no longer need the item you can return within 14 days for a full refund. This is standard practice for most eCommerce websites. Sorry if you feel this was not long enough. I can see that your items were delivered on July 6th and you did not report damage until 28th July, making it 22 days from point of delivery. I would have to argue that 22 days is sufficient time to check the products and report them to us for any issues. Apologies if you did not see it this way. Thanks, Gary Murray Leader Stores.

Very happy with the day bed delivered. My daughter is over the moon. However, waiting for the delivery for over a week wasn't great, sadly I feel this let the service down a little. But overall very happy with the product.

We understand where you are coming from regarding the wait for the bed, unfortunately this bed is ordered in from the supplier so there is always a bit of a lead time on their products. I am a repeat customer for materials, I am very happy with the materials I ordered but disappointed with customer support. Although the order was low value (£20 inc' VAT and delivery) I had to email Leader stores twice to get an ETA on my order. My experience with my first order was much better so hopefully this is just a blip in service?

Great guys to deal with. Made a 200 mile round trip to get the exact laminate flooring we wanted in our home (picked up a couple of bargain doors in the process). Delivery arrived as agreed. Couple of damaged packs were promptly replaced without causing us any delay. Would love to shop there again. Great company.

I ordered 5 packs of laminate flooring online and received confirmation of my order and an expected delivery date. As you can imagine I was very impressed to get a call on the day of expected delivery to say you did not have any stock but could provide an alternative. As none of the alternatives were either anything like the one I had chosen or as competitive I said no and asked for an immediate refund. I then had to chase you to get my refund, which should have been actioned immediately. I am not impressed and would not deal with you again nor recommend you to anyone else. The only glimmer of hope in my opinion was the poor lad given the job of phoning me and telling me the bad news. He was very good and I hope he leaves soon and gets a job with a company that deserves him.

I am dissappointed this is the case, as we operate a No Hassle 72 Hour Refund Policy whereby we'll process any refunds quickly & efficiently to ensure customers don't have to wait any longer if orders cannot be fulfilled. I placed an order online, when the item arrived it was damaged. I sent an email detailing the problem with photos and received my replacement within days!! Very good service

Avoid!!!! Like many others, I got very tempted by the Leader Stores' competitive prices. Thus, I ordered a sofa from them, which appeared perfect for what I needed at the time. However, 4 days into my order, and no delivery date details. Since I was getting a little impatient regarding my delivery I decided to contact their customer services. Upon contacting the customer service, they were unable to give me any info required, basically fobbing me off with some vague information, such as "you will soon be contacted to arrange your delivery". Please note, that Leaser Stores' website stated that my sofa would be delivered within 3-5 days... This was not the case, as 10 days after my purchase I was still in the dark about the estimated delivery date. I was left with no other choice but to cancel my order, and chase up my refund afterwords. Please, please - avoid the hassle and order with some more trusted stores.

Hello Monika, I would like to apologise on behalf of this with regards to your order and I'm totally understanding on the inconvenience that you may have had as a result of this. I can see that originally the sofa had been set to a 5 working day lead time on our website which in some cases can be shown as a guideline of estimated delivery which is where the confusion may have came around. Unfortunately after taking a look further into the order I can see that after this lead time we had been notified that the item you ordered looked to be out of stock with our supplier which resulted in the delivery being prolonged. We have since reviewed this and marked the product as out of stock and your refund has been successfully transferred back into your account.
