PORT ROYAL CLASSIC CUBE 8 SEATER SET Horrendous experience. From day one there has been problems. After trying to place an order :- No body rings you back You tried to charge me vat on top of advertised price. Told it would take 10-15 days delivery. It took 6 weeks As it was a birthday present it was a huge Let Down Told furniture cover was in stock and would be added to order. 4 weeks later told it was out of stock and not available at all. You are still advertising it on the web. Took the full amount off my card and did not refund the cover. Told I would be called prior to delivery to arrange a date. The delivery turned up with no warning which was a problem. Made a total of 8 calls chasing my order with lots of promises on delivery and non of them materialised. Unable to talk to anyone in authority. I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO USE YOUR COMPANY AND I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS ON THE WEB FIRST I only wanted good service !

Hello Mr Hanslip, I can only apologise for the issues you have had on your order. I know we have been having a lot of trouble with the garden furniture supplier who's product you purchased. This is probably going to lead to the removal of all of their products on the website. Flooring is excellent, easy to lay.......... only problem I had was, when I visited Hartlepool store to collect product, it was not there and had to drive to Middlesbrough to collect it.

Hi Carol, Glad you liked your flooring. Yes, the item was in stock just up the road in the Middlesbrough Store. We were notified in advance when the items would be delivered and they were delivered within the time-slot. I had called before ordering to check how certain we could be that the colour would match the illustration on the website and was told that there was no guarantee. It turned out that the colour was quite different, but we decided that we could varnish it to the colour we wanted. There were also some flaws in the finish. I sent photographs of these and was given the option of returning the goods or accepting a discount. We accepted the discount. I had to work around the flaws, but the end result is that we have what we wanted.

Not very good. Ordered a new sink, waited for it for a good while then contacted Leader Stores only to be told the sink was "Obsolete"! If it was the case why was it still on the website? Took ages to get a refund and I had to email and ask for that a few times as they didn't offer to give me my money back. Not happy to be honest.

Hi Robert, I apologise for any inconvenience caused. The item you had ordered had recently been discontinued by the supplier. This item has since been removed from sale on our website. Our refunds policy is to complete refunds within 72 hours of request. I apologise if this was not the case and will investigate to ensure it doesn't happen again. Took my money then two weeks later said the item was discontinued, although still being advertised on their site. Contacted manufacturer who said it was still in production. Told Leader stores, but they just offered refund. Got the item from another supplier. Guessing that Leader no longer wanted to supply at advertised price!

Good Morning Mr Whitlock, I can only apologise for this issue, our distributor had recently stopped supplying the Astracast products, which is why they are no longer on our website. Items in Stock - means they are not and are with suppliers. 3-5 day delivery - its now 11th day post order and still not recieved I spoke to them at 10:00 Friday, they'd just had the delivery from the supplier and promised it would be on next day delivery for tomorrow before 13:00 ie Saturday delivery. I repeated back to them what they had just said, as we would need to chnage our day to ensure we were in. Confirmed Saturday with TNT before 13:00. Spoke to TNT today and the delivery is due for Monday, no special for today. Tried for over an hour to speak to them today on contact number and phone just kept ringing. use this company only if you want poor customer service and can wait ages for delivery - they are cheap however you get what you pay for.

Good Morning Ian, We can only apologise for the delay in delivering the item. Firstly when it came to the point of ordering, the supplier was short on stock. This was not reflected on our weekly stock update meaning we had incorrect information. With regards to the Saturday delivery, on this occasion it seems an inputting error meant it was booked for Monday. I apologise sincerely for this. Finally, regards to our office hours, we are actually closed on a Sunday as stated on the website, so your call would not have been taken. The delivery days are not true: I cancelled my order because the delivery was 3 daysand then it turned out that the manufacturer had 15 days delivery and nobody could give me the contact number for the manufacturer to chase my order so I cancelled it. Hopelessly dishonest advertising!!!

Extremely poor service. Purchased product on line only to be told next day it wasn't in stock. Took over 10 days and several phone calls to get a refund. Went overdrawn because of this. Reluctant to use Leader Stores again.

Good Morning David, Apologies for the delay in refunding your order. There was a small banking transaction error which caused a significant delay on your refund. The laminate flooring I purchased through Leader Stores is fantastic. The quality is just what I wanted and it went down really easy. The delivery was on a day of my choice and arrived as promised. All-in-all I'd use Leader Stores again and I've recommended them to several friends.

Hi, I ordered the Joseph three bunk bed, it was supposed to be in stock with a 3 to 7 day delivery time. This was a lie you did not have it in stock and told me delivery was expected in November 3 months later. I asked for a refund and still after a week the money has still not reached my account. I have been advised I will get it but still have not yet. I will not consider buying from you in the future the service is filled to the brim with lies.

Good Morning Sahail, Thanks for the feedback, I apologise for any inconvenience caused by the item being out of stock with our supplier Joseph. We do request regular stock updates from all suppliers, however it is not always possible for us to receive them, meaning there are occasionally issues with stock. All refunds are processed within 72 hours of request as standard, however it can depend on your bank as well on how long the transaction reversal will take to complete. I ordered 3 lights., 2 lights were out of stock, I found out by chasing where my order was upto . When I checked on line it stated that my order had been despatched. I was told that 2 lights would be in stock on the 22nd September. I asked for the other light to be delivered . I was told that the light would be delivered on the Saturday as a gesture of good will because I was not informed about the other lights. I stayed in Saturday morning waiting for the delivery , it didn't arrive. I chased it up on Monday morning and I was told that it would arrive on the Tuesday. This was very disappointing. Let's hope that the other 2 lights will be dispatched as promised on the 22nd Thanks Sandra Hill

The doors are very good and am pleased with them greatly. The only disappointment was the delivery which was not next day and did not receive for a week and had to contact the courier myself which WAS NOT EASY as there courier customer service you have to wait a minimum of about 1hr on hold and I had to do this 6 times in all. The item is great but there courier service they use are useless!

We had a "dodgy leg" problem with the bunk bed we ordered which prevented it from being assembled (with all the components strewn across the bedroom floor).............it did take a little longer than we had hoped to resolve it but leader stores pursued the manufacturer on our behalf and we did eventually get a replacement part but only after peristent reminders. The bed is fine and we are happy with the product and with leaders involvement. Definitely use them again.
