“New customer (First order) Items purchased: LPD Furniture Fusion Faux Leather Sofa Bed (FUSIONBLA) · Colour: Black LPD Furniture Zeta Black Metal Single Bed (ZETABLA3.0) Positives: Impressed with quality of LPD furniture Bed frame easy to assemble Sofa bed, only had to add the legs and it was ready to use Negatives: Order to delivery longer than expected (indicated 5-7 days) but, instead was (21 days). If I had known this would be the case upon order, I would have still placed the order, as price was good and would have been willing to wait. However, due to the delay it did make me question whether the items would eventually get delivered, as read some other reviews were other customers had trouble with lead times and cancelled their order, an then had difficulties receiving a refund. So given my concerns, I was reserved to the possibility I may have to cancel my order but, when I was informed the order had then been dispatched, I allowed the order to continue and WOW got my order the next day. So I may have been hasty in my concerns. Small issue with a missing slat, called leader and awaiting spare part to be sent. Informed would be around a week, will allow 10 days before chasing. Overall: Happy with final outcome, goods received. Will be looking to place another order shortly. However, if I had cancelled I would not have looked to Leader Stores for future purchases, as I would have lost complete confidence. I can accept if the lead time is a little longer than expected, as long as I'm kept informed. Would have preferred an email to keep me updated, rather than having to call to chase up order.”

“I was looking for a quantity of Krono original flooring online, the prices per metre varied tremendously, I the saw Leader Stores on the screen and there price beat everyone else by far, they even had free delivery which saved me an extra £35 compared to other retailers. I ordered the floor online and picked a delivery day, the floor arrived on time, overall a very good experience, would definitely recommend Leader Stores and Floors, and would not hesitate to purchase from them when I need an item.”

“Birlea Wardrobe paid for on 29th Dec. I was NEVER informed of delivery date and had to telephone several times to find out what was happening. I was eventually told that the wardrobe is out of stock until Feb. Why wasnt I told this in the first place?! I shouldn't have had to pay until it was ready for delivery!! I'd had enough by this point and wanted a refund so I then sent an email to 'cancellations', which was ignored. My second email was also ignored so I ended up having to telephone AGAIN. I was promised that my refund form would be submitted that day. Overall, Im very unimpressed with Leader Stores and will never use again.”

Thank you for your feedback Ms Jones. The original lead time on your order would have been quoted just underneath the price on the product page of the website. We would then have notified you of the delay as soon as we were informed by the supplier. I would like to apologise that we were not able to update you sooner. “Slow response to email sent to cancel an order, then did not receive refund. We then phoned to keep the items after waiting too long for a refund as we thought we would adjust door frames to suit ( wrong size doors). It has now been over three weeks and i have needed to email for an update on the order as it is not yet received. It would have been beneficial to get an update on the status of the order.”

We are a relatively small team here at Leader Stores, but we always response to emails as quick as we possibly can. I have since checked your order, and I can see that your doors did have to be re-ordered after you had emailed in to cancel. The lead time on your order is 7-21 working days as they are made to order. We have since chased this with the supplier, who have confirmed that they should be due to be delivered into us today. You should be receiving a telephone call as soon as they arrive, to book in a delivery date of your choice. I would also like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
