About Leonard Buildings & Truck Accessories:

Established in the Blue Ridge foothills of North Carolina in 1963, Leonard Buildings and Truck Accessories is a privately owned retailer, manufacturer and distributor whose product lines include storage buildings, cargo and utility trailers, truck covers and accessories, carports, playhouses, pet and animal structures, gazebos, and outdoor furniture. We serve our residential, commercial and government customers through our 59 factory outlet stores in the five-state region of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee.

Seventy percent of our business last year resulted from repeat customers and referrals mostly of which were from family member to family member. We hear a lot of this: "I am here because when I was growing up my grandfather had a Leonard building in his backyard . . ." We take pride in serving and taking care of folks as if they were our family.

Over the years, our company's focus on quality, craftsmanship and customer service has allowed each of our company-owned stores to be integrated partners in their local communities. We encourage employees to look for ways to make a difference around town and to help out worthy causes.

“I recently purchased a shed, a trailer and a tonneau cover from my local Leonard's. The products were great, it was the service that was a little meh. First off, when ordering our shed we requested a date out longer than usual, because we needed to do some site work. The shed arrived sooner than expected, but we were able to scramble and get ready for it. However, they were unable to deliver when they said they could, and when it did get delivered, it was delivered 5 hours later than we were told. With the shed, I purchased two ramps, only one arrived. After a week of waiting for the second one, they refunded the money for it. When I picked up the trailer, the D-rings that I had purchased to be installed on it were not installed and they had to do it before I left. This is after I was told they were installing them when they did the pre-delivery prep on the trailer. Finally, after the tonneau cover was installed, we had a heavy rain and I discovered the cover was leaking. They did remedy the situation, though it still leaks some.”

“Building comes with a 7 yr warranty. Took some time to get mine set up right. Quality of building is ok. Customer service was excellent. Would I purchase another building from Leonard I would more than likely.”

“We ordered a trailer , it took 7 weeks to get it and then it was so bad it was sent back and a new trailer was going to be built and now here we are another 5 weeks in and we still have no trailer which we already paid for. we use this trailer for business and this is completely unacceptable.”

“I was very impressed with their customer service. I did have to wait a while as they helped others in front of me, but they give undivided attention when it’s your turn. They installed a camper top on my truck and even let me bring it back in to fix the leaks even though they weren’t under the warranty rules. Thank you!”
