Purchased stove not even 6 months ago, within 4 months it almost caught on fire the customer service horrific, never responds postpones to avoid fixing it, then instead of replaying the default stove they Wana order parts, and seniors here been having food cooked for them last 2 months. We were in firefighter service and this is fire hazard and should have been replaced and customer service was horrible. My granddaughter also went thru 3 dishwashers in 4 years being garbage, and the 3rd one went and she had 5 times a worker come to fix it until finely they gave her new dishwasher and honestly they spent more money paying worker than buying the dishwasher. My review honest review do not shop here costco is where we will go for now on. Never ever issue there and always great service

Purchased a dishwasher and refrigerator 5 years ago with extended warranty. Had a service call on the dishwasher, great service with that. Once the extended warranty was ready to expire on the fridge, I called to ask about the pay back since we didn't have a claim. I was told that yes, my purchase price of the warranty was on file to use on a future purchase. I stopped in to Leon's in Saint John this morning. I just thought I should check at the customer service desk. Again, the lady said that I do have a credit from the pay back. For whatever reason, I asked if I had to spend a minimum amount to get the credit applied to a purchase. Well, yes, I had to spend a minimum of $400.00 and this has an expiry date. A short window. When I purchased the extended warranty, I was told if I didn't use it, I would get my money back. It was never explained that I have to spend money to get my refund. I guess the adage of buyer beware applies to this situation. The policy should have been explained in full at the time of purchase. I miss Sears, they didn't hold my pay back hostage, I was given a credit to spend as I wished. Leon's will not have my business in the future. I'm very unhappy about this.

worst policy i have ever seen never buy furniture or sofas or anything from leons we just bought sofa they delivered and we called after 1 min that the sofa doesn’t fit the recliner is touching each other we can not open 2 recliner at the same time and covered half space of the room we asked for to return just 1 piece and they replied you should pay extra 50 % amount of that piece so the price of that piece is for ex. $575 so we have to pay $287 more and we can return and we will not get any money back so we are paying $575+ return amount $287 and they can come and pick up will not get any money back. i hate this policy if the thing doesnt fit and for the purpose we paid high amounts for recliner is west of money we can not open 2 recliner at the same time and we want to return right after 1 min they deliver I have attached picture you can see, it is not possible in leons never buy anything feom there worst policy.

We pay $189.0 for platinum care, and guess what?? It covers only accidental damage ONLY!!! Not the damages because the quality is so poor that within 2 yrs the seams are coming off or it’s getting tear from the stiches. Will I recommend it to anyone else? What do you think?

Customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. Buyers beware. Do not buy from Leon’s Kingston. They do not honour anything they sell. Washer and dryer delivered but did not work. Customer service said “you shouldn’t have bought the cheap brand”. When buying I asked how LG was comparable to other brands. They said “great” and then later told me, “you shouldn’t have bought this cheap brand”. If you want reliable customer service but from The Brick!!!

I purchased a side board for our dining room in November 2023. Upon delivery, there were some minor damages which I could overlook. However, one of the drawers was damaged such that I can't use it. I accepted it with the understanding it would be fixed. (Mainly because I had already gotten rid of my old one.). I have called and visited the store multiple times and 9 months later still no action. They say they are waiting for parts. Have asked to have their repair person sent out as I am sure someone with the right tools could fix what's there. All they keep telling me is the parts are coming. I probably won't shop there again but I will never accept something damaged and NEVER ACCEPT THEIR ASSURANCE that it will be fixed. Very disappointing from such a well known longstanding company.

Worse service ever. Bought a stove in April, got it delivered in May damaged with the over glass lowered seeing all the installation. Here we are July 10th & they are still saying they don't have a new stove available & they refuse to refund me for a stove they have no idea when it will come in stock & then they wanted to pick up the store & leave me with nothing. They call this customer service

We purchased a table set from the EDMONTON store. It was picked up towards the end of May. If I am not extremely gentle when I wipe it down the finish comes off! If you want good service and good quality furniture go to City Furniture. We have purchased from both the Grande Praire and the Whitecourt stores. I will NEVER shop from Leon’s again!

Terrible quality furniture bought a sectional sofa. Had to have it serviced 8-9 time finally they couldn’t fix it and gave me store credit for $2400 to buy a new sofa. They had nothing within that price range so had to spend another $2500. Now this one is falling apart and no warranty after a little over a year. Terrible customer service and terrible furniture quality. Will never shop there again

After waiting 4 months to receive my 2 reclining sofas. When they arrived the springs in the back of 1 was squeaky so we had a service guy come out took 2 weeks for that. He found that the springs were broken in the back piece and that they would have to have it replaced being that it is brand new. 6 months later and they have no timeline to when the replacement will be in to make my sofa usable. No attempts have been made by the store to rectify the problem just pass the buck off on they are waiting for manufacturer and have no idea when it will be fixed.

We have bought many different items from Leon’s over the years, and recently have also purchased the warranties with all 4 of the appliances. I needed a knob replaced on our 2 and a half year old stove. In store, I was told it would cost me $65.00😳, but they could not order it for me. Made the call to the company….. ONE PLASTIC KNOB…..$100 plus $12.00 delivery charge. Really!!! A plastic knob??? For our future purchases, we will probably check other places. Very disappointed with their customer service, you should be embarrassed.

Buyers beware, stay FAR FAR away from this company. They are liars and misleading. We purchased beige leather couches less than a year ago, and purchased their warranty because we were sold on the fact that ALL stains and rips would be covered. My 4 year old daughter left a small piece of slime on the couch, that left a stain that will not go away. To our surprise, they are not covering it under warranty, since it's not "specified" to be included in their list. We would have never purchased these couches to begin with, and were hesitant to do so but the sales rep sold us that ALL stains and tears being covered, that we had nothing to worry about and we would have complete peace of mind which is dissappointing to say the least. They are offering as a goodwill gesture to send us a cleaning kit that we already have that didn't work, which is a complete slap in the face. They are also trying to say this is not their responsibility, and to deal with the third part warranty company rather than them. For the record, this is the only bad review I have ever written. Being a business owner myself, I always give people and businesses the benefit of doubt. I should note that the warranty company ignored my warranty requests for a month and a half. Shop elsewhere and save yourself the complete disappointment. Trust and holding to your word goes a long way, but definitely not with this company.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with [Leons Furniture In Burlington]. I purchased a number of items 17,000 dollars worth. However the reason for me writing this review specifically speaks to a bed and a sofa, and both items were of unacceptable quality. The bed makes an unbearable screeching noise with every movement, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. As if that wasn't enough, the sofa I received was itchy, damaged, and completely uncomfortable. When I contacted customer service to address these issues, I was met with the only option of paying a 25% restocking fee and a complete lack of assistance. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, they expected me to lose money by paying for the replacement of these faulty items. The entire experience has been frustrating and costly. I strongly advise against shopping at [Leon's Furniture in Burlington]. Their products are subpar, and their customer service is atrocious. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LEON'S

BUYERS BEWARE I order a Whirlpool fridge, range and dishwasher. When appliances were delivered they dropped the fridge bringing it into home, range feet were cracked and frame damage and dishwasher was Great ( so far- time will tell) They left all appliance so I was able to see how the fridge looked but unfortunately I was sold a fridge that was to big for the hole size. I gave the sales girl my dimensions and I would have thought she would have asked me the right questions to know that this would not fit as the doors swing is 2.5 inches. After the delivery I went to Leons Southside Edmonton and was told by Customer Service that I would need to pay a $25 restocking fee for returning the fridge (which was damaged by them dropping it) After much discussion it was decided I did not have to pay. Today the new appliance were delivered (old ones picked up) and new range feet are broken again. I called the manager at Edmonton South - "Bhav"- after spending $3000.00 she offered me a $100 gift card to spend at Leons instead of discounting any of my appliances!! Do you think I ever want to shop at LEONS again. NOT A CHANCE.

I purchased a fridge that was defective from the beginning. After 4 repair callouts, I was told they'd have to leave the fridge unplugged for 48 hours so they could replace the nitrogen, and it MIGHT fix the problem. The repair technician told me Whirlpool NEVER replaces their refrigerators; they just keep trying to fix them. I've tried to work with Leon's Customer Service, but they've just left me at the mercy of Whirlpool. The fridge is less than a year old and still under warranty. I want a replacement.
