Scammers stay aware they won’t help you with anything and expect to wait on call for up to 2-3 hours

I had an insurance with Lexham for almost 3 years but on February my motorbike had some serious problems and I just purchased another one and sent an email to them for a transfer. No replies but I thought will be done automatically. Well, it wasn't. In few months I got a letter with a notice that I must ensure my motorcycle or will be seized. So I went to their website and applied for another one and left the old one active. Two weeks later I got an email with cancellation notice "We are authorised by Alwyn Insurance Company Ltd to act as their agents for the purpose of formally cancelling insurance cover". I thought that the previous owner was ensured with Alwyn and sent an email to Lexham telling them that I had insurance only with them and maybe the previous owner did so they can cancel that insurance if is needed. Well, again no reply from them and my insurance was cancelled with just 50% refund. When I called them, the guy said they did call me back but there is no call from them so was just a lie. And when I asked them why did they cancel, he said I didn't send them any proofs of no claim bonuses, which is stupid since they have all the info anyway. Maybe is cheap but I'm sure You can find something better than this company that never replies to Your emails and have no solutions to any issues.

if I could give it any lower I would , currently have spent a total of 5 hours on hold to speak to somone to update my policy! absolutely disgusted and will take my money somewhere else

Absolutely terrible insurance company, avoid like the plague, you will never get through to talk to anyone, you will be on hold for up to a hour worst insurance experience of my life, and please don’t bother calling Lexham at the weekend if you want to insure a vehicle as you have no chance even if you have a policy with them, you have been warned !!!

Lexam is the worst insurance company i had to deal with. No emails send to request needed information,quotes increase twice. When asked to forward original email they state they send, excuses. Customer adviser in cancellation department called Louis if its i spelled it rigt rude and raising his voice on his clients. Worst experience ever. Don't go for this insurance i can just imagine if you would beed to get a claim after accident. Cancellation fee last week was £130 after 3 working days £300. Worst worst worst company.

had the insurance for 5 months, zero accidents yet when I sold my bike as I want to upgrade to bigger bikes. I had to pay £722 to cancel my insurance. I wouldn't recommend this insurance as it most likely felt like I was scammed.

Increase premium for existing clients every year. Their business is build on principle to rob existing clients because people don’t have time look for new insurance. Shame on you!

Be aware you won’t be able to cancel your policy after 14 days. I sold my old bike after calling customer service they told me you have to pay the remaining period even if you don’t have a bike ,i refused to pay the remaining 2 months out of 12 months policy. I tried to insure my new bike with them , now my old 2 months balance is at 1085£. Ridicules

I was quoted £600 and a month later the quote had increased to £1000. No explanation was given and I had no choice but to pay. There's no such thing as a caring insurance company!

I have insurance with them and it is a good price but you try getting hold of anyone, its impossible! Sat on hold for over 30 mins, sent facebook messages, they may get back to you in their own sweet time but don't hold your breath. Apparently they are always 'experiencing high call volume' this would lead me to believe they do not have enough people working for them because surely by now they should have realised how high the volume is! I would rather pay a little bit more and have the ability to actually speak to someone, I will not be renewing my insurance. No doubt lexham will reply to this low review asking me to email them which would actually be the only communication I've had so far with them.

Worst customer service quality ever I experienced in insurance companies. First of all, 1st call didn’t answer around 30min and they hung up suddenly. 2nd call also took more than 30min to answer. Secondly, I just wanted to add my son to my policy as additional driver for casual riding and not for commuting, but it was declined because of high risk occupation. They said that he can’t ride for commute as my policy is not for commuting, so why occupation matters? This lady just insisting that my son is high risk occupation and no more explanation. I asked if I upgrade my policy is there possibility but no no no. Not giving any options. Finally, without say good bye or anything, just hung up. What a brilliant service, isn’t it? I definitely leave this company unfortunately. I can’t believe the review rate is over 80%… this was worst CS ever.

Absolutely appalling service.Had my 6 month old bike stolen and burnt out and am still waiting for claim to be sorted.Just on the verge of taking legal advice.

One day before I called customer service. If Uber eat no accept policy. If cancel next day any charges they said no. But next day I cancel they charge fee. They lie. No good.
