Not happy at all with any aspect I feel robbed to be honest and I will be spreading word .. Lexham will take your money and try cancel days before a payment is due and then try convincing you to cancel after that direct debit comes out

Wanted to add a second bike to my policy, which is something I expected to be able to do over the phone as I have with other insurance companies. I called four times and *eventually* the phone was picked up, only to discover that I couldn't get either a quote or add a second bike over the phone, but rather would have to wait for a call back from their 'multi-bike' department. Now I have the inconvenience of likely missing that call back because they will undoubtedly call me when I'm in the middle of work and unable to answer the phone. So far, not very impressed and have only given two stars rather than one because the initial cost was competitive and the documentation came through very quickly. It doesn't inspire confidence for the future if I ever need to make a claim.

I didn’t really have much contact with lexham. However when it came time to renew my insurance i was looking around and it led me back to them then they sent me a quote telling me my renewal was coming up and it was £200 more expensive then what i’d seen them offering it on go compare so i obviously chose the cheaper one however they shouldn’t be offering it saying it’s there “best price” if it’s not.

Poor management skills and customer service, was trying to get hold of them for 4 days due to an issue from their mistake which is costing £500 if it’s not sorted, was on the hold like for 2 hours and they cut the line before closing time, their opening times say there open on Saturdays but their offices were closed. Stay away from this company for your insurance their quick enough to lie and take money off you but aren’t quick enough to help you sort the issue. Stay away!

Lexham Insurance didn’t ask whether i needed to disclose my Criminal Record (very minor) apart from Motoring Records. I’ve been involved in a crash & now they’re refusing to offer any help and claiming it’s void when speaking to their sister-company.

Been trying to call now for 3 days no answer Can’t get into the portal to register as there’s no link for it Spent 2 hours waiting for someone to answer gave up in the end Request a call back still nothing Absolutely shocking company Wouldn’t waste your time people

Incredibly difficult to have a conversation with an actual human about my renewal. I couldn't get through to discuss my premium which was important to me as I am insuring my bike for work purposes as well as domestic social and pleasure. Very disappointed.

Do you know why I'm leaving a 2 star review -bc you only use two standard reply's to existing reviews - showing that the customers situation isn't important enough for you to care on an individual basis. I'm just grateful for all the other saying how wait times are intolerable - that saves me!

Never seem to answer the phone. On hold every time for ages. I gave up. I did their Portal, but that has problems, every time I try to log in it asks to set up the portal!!

Only based on buying a policy the layout of information was super confusing. I had to sit on hold for an hour to speak to someone to explain it to me. But they just kept repeating ‘they are different options’ without being able to tell me what was actually different about them.

I don't feel like the NCD is NOT valued fairly. Premium hasn't decreased fairly after the year (only by a few pounds - with tot premium being around £960). Compulsory excesses are too high.

originally took out insurance for my 2018 Lexmoto LXR, first month went through, no phone calls or emails was alright, second unexpected payment came out but got that sorted out. day after that get a call saying i need a logbook tell them its been applied for and i get told a written receipt of sale would be fine, get that and send it in along with other documents and a week later im thinking it's alright then about 3 days after that i get a call saying its been cancelled because i didn't have a logbook and the written receipt wasn't enough. it was also past the time i could get a refund so about £230 gone for a months worth of insurance from something i should have been told about as soon as i took it out, i now have got re insured and had to pay £180 then 2 weeks later £135 and now monthly instead of what was £96 on my cancelled contract i have to pay £135 so it went up £40 in the space of 2 months. overall i feel ive had an unnecessarily stressful time just getting insured and poor communication with it taking 20 minutes and talking to multiple people just to get put on hold for another 40 minutes and have no one answer, online chat needs to do better also since pretty much anything requires you to call up regardless.

Waited +25 mins on the phone to get through just to be able to inform you that my employment status had changed to ‘retired’. Whilst the portal works well, you cannot change employment status on the portal which is very frustrating when you have to wait on the phone so long to give a one sentence piece of information . The sting in the tail was then to re quote my insurance and raise the cost by a token £5. Once I spoke to a person the changes were done quickly and I was able to renew online via the portal.
