“Whilst the main parasol box was delivered quickly there was no indication that the base hadn’t been delivered. This wasn’t delivered until days later. No idea whether it was a delivery company error or some delay from Living and Home. Either way we were not kept informed and we were not able to put the parasol together until the height of the heatwave. The assembly instructions are terrible. Quite a lot of guessing involved. Then noticed that in less than a week from ordering from Living and Home they had dropped the price again nearly a £100. Our order had been a sale price. Quite annoying given what we’d been through.”

“My first and last order . I ordered a sofa from living and home. The expected delivery time was 3-7 days. There were 12 days left to house warming party I organised at my home so I was sure it would arrive about 3-5 days before celebration. BUT, there was no delivery . I patiently waited until 7th day and called them on 8th day ,only to be told that they will find out where is my order and call me back. After an hour I received an email from them which state that the item was out of stock. Is that a joke? They took money out from my account without making sure if they have the item. They didn’t inform me that the item was out of stock. I had to call them to investigate about my order. I would strongly not recommend anyone to buy from them . They must learn the basics of business in the online market . They let me down . I would never buy from them .”

“Love the chair it is very comfy and the colour is great. Didn’t get 5 stars as there was a small tear in the fabric on the back of the chair.”

“Excellent service. Received product in the stated delivery time. Needed a replacement part, so contact customer services who were fast and effective and replacement was send within 5 working days. Great quality product exactly as it was displayed.”

“X2 items ordered. First delivery, wrong. Returned. Second part of delivery arrived, red stains all over it. Customer service really unhelpful. Finally arranged a return, however still not received the return of my money.”

“I really like dealing with this company, you order what you want and it arrives in a few days. The responses to enquiries feel very personal too, the only problem being the length of time the response takes to get to you! I'm still waiting for a response to my query about the difficulty of opening an account which was made several days ago. These are very minor problems though. All the items I have ordered have been great value for money, excellent quality, and delivered very quickly. Jessie Cunliffe”

“Canopy Umbrella Received item which was very poor quality and when we tried to put it up, it cracked, later discovered a faulty piece. I contacted the company who gave me many excuses not to return or refund- I had it too long, had it a day when I complained!! Finally after several emails and photos of the damaged item - weeks later the item was finally collected at their expense, initially they wanted me to return it at my expense?? Never will I purchase from this company again.”
