worst company I've ever dealt with! Booked holiday and paid deposit, I usually screen shot my details but simply forgot this time. I've had no confirmation, no booking reference no's no correspondence whatsoever apart from a deposit taken from my account and then a second payment taken from my account for nearly £500. I've tried everyday to contact them using their live chat option but its impossible. Nobody answers the phone, it says not to write to them because there offices are closed and nobody reply to my emails, even starded a case with resolver but no joy there either. Fed up and disgusted with this company. Feel like I'm being robbed, hoe dare they take unauthorised debit cards without my consent. You can't even travel to our destination but they still take your money. Iwill not be travelling with thus company ever! Avoid at all costs!!! Just hope my bank can claim it back.😡😡😡😡

Been messaging them for several weeks since jet2 cancelled our flights. No reply. Found phone number and no one answers. The website says we would be refunded within 14 days of us informing them that airline had cancelled. Jet2 refunded love holiday weeks ago and still no response or money back. Will never use them again

No contact, no phone or email. Could not get through onto online chat and impossible to find. Ended up changing my flights myself, don’t actually know what you did apart from an email or message the day before I was going asking if we were going or not and had our flights been cancelled or changed? I thought that would have been your job to tell me. Would not go with Loveholidays again and would definitely not recommend to others. As for the questions below I was unable to communicate with you at all, and you never replied to any of my queries

Please avoid this company at all costs if you are booking a package. Although package holidays are protected under legislation. Love holidays ignore the legislation and absolve themselves of any responsibility when they make a mistake. They tell you your holiday is cancelled and then after asking you to rebook tell you it was a mistake. They then refuse to refund the additional costs and indeed refuse to cancel the duplicate booking. Go to a reputable travel agent or direct to the carriers to save the upset, stress and effort required to try and get their help and support!

Avoid, please avoid, my bank in Dublin informed me they are inundated with charge backs from this travel company which set in motion a complete financial audit by the Irish banks and the Irish bank regulator of this company. They will be booted out of Ireland pretty soon. Don’t give them a cent, you will never see it, cut your loses the Irish Gov will cover Irish customers loses through there state funded scheme, as the U.K. is leaving the EU on December 31st, UK residents will have no longer recourse to EU package holiday directives, that’s why their bidding their time. They will have no obligation then to pay anything.

I had a holiday booked for September. Deceided not to continue paying money as I had a gut feeling Love Holidays would behave in this manner. So i contacted my bank and stop payments so love holidays don’t take the money from my account, other wise I would have lost a lot of money. Thank god I did. My advise, please do not book with this company. Their happy to take your money but not refund you. Be smart and book with a reputable holiday company . I’ve heard on the beach is a good site or book with BA or travel republic, but not Love Hoildays unless you want to loose all your money..

I went via manage my booking and proceeded to amend my hotel to the Sofitel Dubai the Palm resort & spa with breakfast. This resulted in a price difference of +£204. I then entered my card details and proceeded with this booking. I have a screenshot of this. I was then promoted to call up with the above reference to confirm and complete my booking. I called up, and I couldn’t speak to anyone as everything has been moved online. I then joined the live chat and spoke with someone who said that they will proceed with my quote but because they’re busy I will have to wait. They are only dealing with those travelling in 72hours. This was fine & completely understandable. However when I was checking prices again I saw the price jumped up every time I refreshed it. I then spoke to Tashana who assured me my original price will be honoured as I have been told to wait and I have a quote. She then transferred me to the Relocations team to complete this and I was put through to Scott. Scott told me it was the sales team I’d have to go to, and they were busy dealing with those departing in the next 72 hours he then disconnected the chat. I was so angry and frustrated I joined the chat again and was greeted by Lucus. I explained everything to him and he was very apologetic and told me he would do everything to help me. He told me he would get someone to call me today or tomorrow. I asked if my original quote would be honoured & he said he has put it in my notes that whatever I have been promised I will get and what should rightfully be given to me (I have a screenshot of this) So he basically confirmed my quote will honoured. Few hours later I received a call from Mohini who was going to finalise my amendment - she then said it was a price difference of £2100!!!! I told her to read my notes as it is clearly noted that my quote would be honoured. She then said she would send me a email to which I should reply and attach the screenshots. I said that’s fine but can she stay on the phone because it’s so difficult to get hold of someone and that I would send the screenshots straight away. She then put me on hold and came back to say that she won’t be able to honour my original quote ?!!! I was so angry and upset with what’s going on. I asked her about the email she said she would send ? She then put me on hold again and then abruptly cut me off!!!! Strongly believe this may have something to do with race as her attitude was poor and even when I said is there an issue because I’m ******** she sniggered. I can’t believe how I’ve been treated by the staff at love holidays. Lucus and Tashana were so helpful with Lucus promising that my quote would be honoured. And Mohini has not done that!!!! I then spoke with Jack who agreed the price should have been matched & advises the amendment team would contact me. I am literally being passed from pillar to post. The fact I have a reference number for an amendment, screenshots showing prices loveholiday staff themselves telling me the price should be honoured/matched then how is it not happening? Why am I being treated like this? Disgusting service and I so massively regret ever rebooking with this sham of a company. I’m still waiting for the “escalations” team to contact me?

Booked to go Majorca in August was paying the package holiday in monthly payments I then had a email off Ryan air saying the flights were cancelled and was asked to accept a credit voucher for the amount id already paid which I did, I tried contacting loveholidays but heard nothing from them and have never managed to get through to them in the meantime they still tried taking the money after my holiday was cancelled (every day ),this company is so like many others as they love taking your money but don’t want anything to do with you ,I’ve just had a email from them saying I can keep the holiday but change the dates and flights !isnt this a totally different holiday ?? Apparently this time I’ve got to sort it all out myself then get back to this company that calls itself a package holiday company with the flights and date changes , unbelievable ,I will never be using these guys again ,they’ve made a stressful situation loads more stressful by not helping one little bit and making it so difficult to get your money back ,unfortunately there’s no option for no star

We booked a package holiday to Dubai, leaving 13/4/20 which of course got cancelled. Next to no communication from LH. A month ago we applied for our £2800 refund via our credit card, as getting nowhere with LH. Credit card are extremely busy, saying it could take up to 12 weeks to get refund. Probably a better bet getting refund from card company than LH. AVOID, AVOID AVOID at all costs.

Avoid this travel company. You will not get your money back. No answer to my phone calls or reply to my email regarding cancelled holidays. Got my refund only with help of my bank after 3 months. LoveHolidays emailed me the same day and asked me to give them positive feedback because I got money back. They are jokers! The bank took my money from their account.

Awful experience, I can understand the delays due to the pandemic but having no call centre and live chat always being busy there is no other way for me to contact them. They also said I wouldn’t be charged cancellation fee, but when I go through cancelling it says it. Thank god I got screenshots of the live chat as I’ll be seeking legal advice.

If you need to rebook another hotel because yours is closed go on their website and choose one then go to 'Manage my account' on loveholidays and change your hotel and/or transfers/flights it works!

Due to news of people sleeping on the beach we emailed our hotel to check our booking in September and they emailed back to say the hotel was shut until March next year! They said they could book us into another sister one so we said ok if they can contact loveholidays. They emailed us back to say that one was shutting as from 1st August so could not help us. We queued forever to get onto Live chat as it is the only form of communication open with loveholidays now and eventually got through. They asked how we knew the hotel was shut!! They advised finding a new hotel on their website then we got cut off! We searched for another hotel and checked dates etc then went onto 'manage my account' on loveholidays where you can change you hotel and your transfers etc and it all went through and updated. So apart from the FCO advising against travel to Spain and the 2 weeks quarantine we shall see. I am posting this in case anyone else needs to find a new hotel that is open and their flights are still going as loveholidays seem to be unable to put out any useful information on how to do it yourself. I will still email the hotel before/if we go, just in case
