“I’ve ordered coconut oil and a few food type products and been really happy with them”

“Lucy Bee truly is my dream brand. Sustainable sourced, beautiful and effective products. I regularly use the coconut oil for cooking and LOVE the soaps (especially the spearmint exfoliating one) and have recently started using the cleansing cream and toner. And wow.. so amazing! I have really sensitive skin and try to only use as natural as I can, so Lucy bee skin care was a good choice for me anyway.. but I wasn’t expecting it to work so well. Even after the first use there was a noticeable difference. Lucy Bee Really is the best out there. I highly recommend them to everyone!”

“I've been looking forward to ordering LucyBee soap, cleanser and moisturiser for ages, but was waiting to finish up some previous products. The package came really quickly (which is amazing given we are in the midst of a global pandemic) and I am so so happy with everything. The soap is magical - I've never had such a good lather from any soap, not even shower gels! And the cleanser and moisturiser are very gentle and nourishing. Everything feels very luxurious and has injected some serious joy into face-care routine and showers! Thanks Lucy for your great products and service :)”

“I have used the same skincare products for years but after hearing reviews and seeing the results from others I thought I would give Lucy Bee skincare a try. I was hesitant as I have sensitive skin and I didnt know how it would react to something new but it made a big difference after such a short time and I absolutely love it. It is definitely a keeper for me and I will be recommending to everyone!”

This is great to hear and we're thrilled to know that our skincare range has helped and suits your skin. We've deliberately made this fragrance free as we know how sensitive some skin types can be, and you'll still get a hint of the aroma of the natural ingredients because we haven't deodorised it, again we wanted to keep things as natural as we can. This is great to hear, thank you. We aim to be as fair as we can and as a small business help with shipping where possible. As you've mentioned, we offer free shipping to most UK mainland addresses on orders over £25. We use UPS next day tracked delivery and some post codes incur a surcharge made by UPS. We don't add anything to the shipping cost and where there's a surcharge, if the order is over £25 we pay £8 towards the fee. Petrina

Thank you! Coconut oil is so versatile, with so many great uses, as you've mentioned. Ours is Fair Trade and these contributions are used to good effect amongst the Philippine communities which produce the oil, so it's great to know that we're all helping to make a difference to their lives when we choose this Fair Trade product. Brilliant! The sample sachets are a great way to try the Face Cream and Cleanser and you'll find that a little goes a long way. If you order these on their own we send these out with free delivery, via Royal Mail. Petrina

Our Face Cream is hydrating and contains calendula oil for its soothing and moisturising qualities, along with shea butter. “Used both cream samples sent. Lovely texture and they applied and sank into the skin really nice. Skin felt soft after. Only downside is the smell, I think it’s the turmeric. That’s just me and my sense of smell, sorry!”

We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the sachets but we're sorry that you didn't like the smell. We chose to keep these ones fragrance free as a lot of people have reactions to essential oils and fragrances and we wanted everyone to be able to use them. The smell of these products is simply the natural aroma from the ingredients in the formulation. Georgia

“I have tried a fair share of coconut oils (both good and bad). I must say I could taste a distinctive difference as soon as I tasted Lucy Bee coconut oil. Clean, mellow, pure tasting - that is how I would describe it! I will definately repurchase!”

“I love the creamed coconut that comes in a jar. As someone who often makes coconut curries, I find the convenience and control over how much/how creamy very appealing and more eco friendly than buying individual sachets or tins of coconut milk. That said, I purchased some other products from Lucy Bee recently with my order of creamed coconut and most of them came in a plastic wrapping inside a paper box. I understand that food hygiene and choice of packaging suitable for delivering online orders is key but would welcome a review of this in future to reduce the use of single use plastic.”

Thank you for your review - we're so pleased to hear that you like the Creamed Coconut, it is such a versatile product and can really transform a simple dish! With regards to the packaging of the other products, we use FSC paper and card wherever possible to pack out the parcels, as I hope you'll understand, we do need the products to get to you in one piece and we have found that parcels can be thrown around when they are in transit. With our Coconut Milk and Coconut Water, we have to put them in a plastic bag because if they leak, they will destroy all the other products in the parcel. We also are not meant to ship liquids, so as well as destroying your parcel, it might also destroy someone else's in the same van. We are always looking for ways to improve and this is high on our list. Hopefully we will be have another option soon. Georgia

It's great that you are happy with your skincare but we're sorry to hear you don't like the smell. We chose to keep this range of products fragrance free so that everyone can use them - a lot of people can have reactions to fragrances and essential oils so we chose to leave these out.
