“My first pair of Lumadent loupes broke shortly after the 2 year warranty period. The actual metal broke at the hinge of the arm and customer service did not have a record of me buying them since they were bought under my previous dentist I worked for (even though my name was engraved on the carrying case). Also the rubber grips on the end of the ear piece would pull off easily with the tightening of the headstrap. I did purchase a second pair with the wireless light this time. Love Love Love the wireless feature. The changing of the wireless battery is awkward meaning it feels like it will easily break the delicate light the way you have to force the battery on and off. I’ve only had the loupes for 3 weeks and so far the battery last an entire work day. The light does start to dim when running out of battery so you know when it’s time to change and you have to have your second batter charged and ready to go. I am giving 3 stars due to the quality of the first pair and customer service. My second pair is a little better so far but it’s only been 3 weeks.”

“Have been using the Lumadent light for around 11 years now and it's still going strong. Been very happy with it. So much that I purchased another one for my new pair of loupes and recommended the light to a couple of colleagues. Erica, the Lumadent rep who assisted me, was extremely helpful and made the latest purchase seamless. Happy to recommend this product to other people.”

“Initially, when I looked for the item I was seeking it seemed they didn't have it. A call to the online sales dept. reveals they had it. Ordering was a breeze. Sales rep was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great experience. Will order again as needed”

“I just upgraded to a different battery replacing the batteries that have lasted me at least two years of heavy use. Shipping was quick, the person I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and the product is better than my old one. Thanks!”

“I haven't got it yet. Lumadent forgot to send out the fit kit. When it was finally sent out, I ended up receiving a fit kit with the wrong frame, I am so upset that I sent it back the same day. So I am still waiting for the fit kit with the correct frame.”

“So, my oral health therapist had a prolux that went defective after a year when attached directly to that mini battery. It just turned off and on when she turned her head too fast. I haven't had any trouble with my prolux which is attached to a wire. I've had mine for a few years now. I think the battery might put too much stress on the connection. It wasn't bad enough that I didn't just buy her another one. It's also possible that being a new user she just broke it. So some good but some concerns with reliability of the battery attached directly to the light.”

“I made an order on NOV 29th 2021. It's now 12/14/2021. No light in my hand. No communication from Lumadent. I've called and talked to CS reps with empty promises of my light shipping soon. I will never recommend or order another produce from them again. I've made my complaint known to Lumadent for over 1 week now and no one has even contacted me. DR. W”
