I have put down one star for Marks and if I could of, I wouldn't have given any. I have no problem with Mark's and Spencers in general, but their hoola hoops in the tins, are rank! Wrong on every level. Taste is sooo bland, texture awful, and so sludgy, the hoops wouldn't come out of the tin, and I had to use a spoon to empty it out. Heinz Hoola hoops are better tasting, however they're not tasting how they used to since they've put less ingredients in, i.e sugar and salt.

Took my lambswool jumper back to store as thinned out under arms which have holes now too. This jumper was only bought in December last year so only lasted 10 months. Store refused to change it as past their 35 day limitation on return goods. They told me to contact office on Wrexham who would collect item for analysis and refund me if found to be faulty. Phoned number store gave me and it doesn't exist. Contacted main office from website who confirmed policy for returns has changed and store staff no longer have facility to use their own initiative and change or refund faulty goods after 35 days as apparently they don't have knowledge or training to decide this. Common sense is not allowed. Also they won't collect, I have to post item to Wrexham where they will examine it and if found faulty will give refund. Post Office want £10 to send item so collection advice wrong too. Most people will not bother to spend more as no doubt they will say its just wear and tear so M&S will not pay up. Looks like they have found a cynical way to avoid paying for faulty goods. Shame on you M&S.

Ordered 2 coats that were only available online as i could not decide between them but thought I’d just return the one i like less. This was back in September started the return on 27th sept, returned the coat a couple days after at the post office, m&s received it and advised my refund was issued on 28th sept. Guess what, today is 15/11 and I’m still waiting. I called numerous times to be told to wait a few more days, that they re-issued it but still nothing. Called again today and i have been ok hold for an hour after someone telling me finance said refund was issued on 28/9 and she can’t really do anything more. The fact i still don’t have it does not seem relevant. I checked with my bank as well and they confirmed they have not seen such a payment trying to hit my account. They are not sending proof of payment i cannot speak to anyone else and to be honest, I don’t think I they actually care given the reviews below. I have made the payment from my credit card so I will try to get it back via my bank, hopefully. I asked them to raise a formal company and to investigate what happened with this so we will see what happens next however I don’t have very high expectations…

I shop for food at the Simply Food in Bath. There are now many products missing from the shelves: yesterday no frozen onions or herbs, no loose pill lady apples or pears. The elderflower cordial now just tastes of sugar even though it has gone up considerably in price. It is no longer a premium product but is just cheap squash with a high price.

I'm not making a review about yr products, even though the quality is not what it was some time ago. I'm incensed that your advert for Christmas, is offensive to say the least and denigh's our Christian background. I never thought I would come this decision about M & S since I was a child and I'm over 70 now. I will not set foot in yr door again.

I received a Sparks offer for a free reusable bag however was charged for it. I contacted customer service by email. The response…..maybe I didn’t read the terms and conditions. Several code numbers were quoted and apparently mine wasn’t one. I discovered you can have a free bag as long as it isn’t a Christmas one and when I mentioned this was told read the terms and conditions. Given I was in one of their larger stores and these were the only bags they had, the offer is pointless. I have had several email exchanges with customer service and to be totally honest feel patronised. The responses are so scripted and continually refer me back to the terms and conditions. I know it was only a 40p bag but any goodwill I had has gone!!!

You want us to buy our Christmas presents and food in your store yet YOU have tried to end Christmas! Odd choice of marketing (even without the flag insult) since according to you we don't need to honour Christmas. I will be shopping else where this year for sure

I will no longer shop at Marks and Spencers due to their Christmas ad this year. It was disappointing to see hats in the Palestinian flag colours burning.

Over priced Zionist puppy organisation whose racist view is becoming blatantly clear with their recent Christmas campaign where they are burning Palestinians flag while thousands of children are being bombed every day

Today, I visited my local city centre store and as well as shopping, I asked the assistant for a replacement 'bag for life', which was the promise of dear old M&S some time ago. Apparently, that promise has been withdrawn, despite almost every product in the food department being covered in plastic. The bag I returned was a large bag, but I was offered (on a once only basis) a small paper bag in return, which would not have made it even half way home with the amount of bottled and chilled items I needed to buy. I understand the need to reduce plastic within our environment, but you really should have worked on the packaging first and certainly not have reneged on a very important promise to your customers. I decided not to complete my shopping at dishonourable M&S and went to Sainsbury's instead.
