“We had the topside beef with herds on top and was cooked by the instructions correctly and it was as tough as a pair of old boots! Love Marks and Spencer’s food in general, but very disappointed with this produce!”

“Stop the stickers! You ruined the children’s book I bought by putting overly sticky stickers on the cover and when I tried to take it off carefully it left sticky residue which can’t be taken off without damaging the book. Never buying anything from your stores again. Use different stickers I paid for something new that now looks second hand because of the damage caused by a sticker!! Sort this problem out!!”

“I ordered a Copenhagen corner settee in teal on August 31st 2018. It was delivered in November to my old address in Derbyshire, even though I had changed my address with M&S when I moved over a year ago to Essex. It was sent back to a depot and M &S refused to send it out to my new address. I was told to cancel my order and reorder it, so it could come to my new address. I did this and then after many phone calls discovered it had been sent back to the supplier who sent it to an outlet store, they would not tell me which. I waited for the second order to be delivered this morning but had an email last night saying the order was delayed until Friday. I told my whole frustrated story to the furniture customer services person who said he would escalate this case to senior management. Today I had a call from a manager who informed me the suppliers have no stock and have stopped making the Copenhagen settee in teal. So after 5 months of waiting, 2 orders at least 9 phone calls and no settee for Christmas, I now have to start all over again, it most certainly will not be with M and S, their furniture customer services is a shambles, the left hand doesnt know what the right is doing and they still have my wrong address and previous landline number.”

“New wardrobes delivered and assembled by M and S. Trouble is M and S have sent the wrong colour. M and S well what can I say. FFFF useless. After calling useless customer services, which apparently is now off shore. So now the saga continues, M and S now have to send a man out to look at the wardrobes incorrectly supplied (wrong colour) to see that there the wrong colour, apparently the photos of the wardrobes are not good enough even though they spookly look like the ones on the the web site. If we reject the goods however as incorrectly supplied, then M&S will give you a refund minus £50 to cover the cost of them collecting the incorrect order. You couldn't make this up, sounds like something from Faulty Towers, maybe someone should write a sitcom about this. Anyway, if you've read this far , then you'll probably guess my opinion . Updates will be added to this. To be continued.”

“I have been buying M&S clothing for 30 years and was always satisfied with the quality and prices. Over the last few years unfortunately the quality has deteriorated and the choice of fashions is appalling, colourless and unimaginative, hence my purchases have fallen. Pity, I always used to liked M&S clothes.”

“M&S "Made Without Wheat" Blueberry Muffins were sold in packs of 2 and were delicious. I can eat wheat but bought these light tasty muffins regularly as they were so good. Now they have been replaced with a pack of 4 smaller blueberry muffins, bought them yesterday, they are dry and tasteless, won't buy again. How disappointing. Why does M&S do this so frequently, change a perfectly good product for an inferior one.”

“new vegetarian food - could be excellent but so strong with garlic that I couldn't eat it - tried 2 of the new dishes - mushroom stroganoff with cauliflower rice and Thai veggie curry - could not taste anything except garlic. What a shame - they look so good.”

“We use our Marks and Spencer store in Truro all the time. The staff are always very polite and helpful. They are generally extremely good value for the quality of the product. For bedding, lingerie, school uniforms I won't go anywhere else. The added bonus with Marks is the Sparks card which gives added discounts on items as well as donating to your chosen charity so you can do some good whilst you shop.”

“Staff at click and collect will no longer allow customers to pay at their till. As I walked through the store to collect my order I noticed a couple of items I liked and took them with me to click and collect till. I waited to pick up my order, asked if I could pay there (no-one waiting behind me) and was told to go to the main till to join the queue, very poor customer service.”

“I have received one 3 seaters and one 2 seaters of Berkeley sofas today. I must said, M&S has an excellent delivery team, I have bought furniture from many other popular shops and some of them are very good but must say M&S delivery experts are outstanding, very polite, friendly, well handling of all the furnitures , and tidy everything before the leave your home. Must give a thumb up to all these people. Anyway, The reason I write about this sofas is because they are not as bad as other customers’ review. I have tried them in the shop and they met my requirements, reasonable price, good support; may be required cushion for extra comfort. I took the advice from the Salesman of the durable material, and they look great my living room. The cushions do puckered a bit, but this is normal as they are well packed and need to “rest” for few days before the shapes are back to normal, so we have to be a bit patient to these foam sofa, just like roll up memory foam Mattresses. They do smell a little bit, as I said, they are new, the foam need to air out for a certain time. Again we have to wait for a while before we get use to them. Don’t be put off by one or two reviews, give yourself a chance to try them out. Give a chance to M&S, it has established in UK and worldwide for many years, and there are many shops closed down on the high street, we certainly don’t want this to happen to M&S as it grows up with us in many generations. * I am not M&S staff or related to this shop , but just to express my comments in regards to all those negative reviews.”
