“hiya I was in the store today and we needed a suit for my little brothers prom and one of the staff in Braehead shopping centre her name was Adriana in the kids wear department and she kindly assisted us to the right colour tie and fit for him and also ordered us a shirt , what a great asset to the Marks and Spencer’s team xxx”

“I have eaten food from your store for many years without problems , until I tried Hunters Chicken . I have never tasted anything so foul as this. Chicken was tough , sauce overwhelmingly tomato paste and salty , but the worst was the smell . In the fridge , oven and on the plate . I am a pensioner and can not afford to waste food but I’m afraid this all went in the bin . Yuk !”

“I have eaten Count on Us meals over many years but two I tried to eat this week were awful.The first was a Chilli con Carne which was very sloppy and wet,there seemed to be watery grave running out.I binned it.The Second was sausage and Mash,another meal that was floating in gravy,I can only describe it as sloppy.Binned once again.May I suggest that you must have changed your supplier.I shall not be buying Them again.”

“At silverlink for a light lunch. One person on the till therefore long queue. Tables piled with dirty pots and still not cleared after 45 mins. Coffee very bitter. Ploughmans platter missing items. Will never come back.”

“Very disappointed with the way the goods were packed,they were pushed into a bag that was way too small and arrived in as a creased mess and covered in bits of fluff out of the bag as the didn’t have a plastic bag inside the pack to protect them.l will be returning them as they just don’t feel clean to me.”

“It would have made me happy if I could have paid for a bra yesterday there was a queue that was not moving only 2 assistants serving surely they could have called on more assistance in the end I put it back and walked out there were also other customers complaining this was Western Road Brighton”

“Cheshire Oaks store deserves to be closed! Rude staff that become aggressive when you complain about customer services. Manager is "too busy" too see customers, probably dealing with all the other complaints. I won't be using M&S again!”

“M&S Gastropub Creamy Chicken Leek & Smoked Bacon Pie. Delicious pie with lots of filling. Well worth the £6 I paid for it. Will definitely buy again.”

“Assistant at the til was pleasant and observant, noticing that I had chosen one bottle of wine on offer and one bottle that looked very similar but twice the price. She checked if that was correct and was happy to exchange the bottle for another of the offer wine.”

“Poor customer service, never enough people on tills, and no, I don’t want to use self service which always ends up with me waiting for an assistant because there’s an issue with an item. Staff often rude. Food on display that is out of date or “blown packaging because it hasn’t been kept cold enough in waiting bay out the back. A fair amount of food is tasty but a bit of a lottery when buying ready made meals especially the Balanced for You range. However the Chinese and Japanese range is nice. Clothes displays appalling and uninspiring.”

“I asked a colleague where to find the brown paper bags for and he scowled at me, sighed and walked away. I then realised they were by the side and I didn't spot them but the worker was so rude and I was quite upset by the ridiculous behaviour by this worker. This was at a service station near Dover, England. He was unnecessarily rude and I was extremely un impressed. Not happy and I'm not going to M&S food ever again. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable.”

“Absolutely fantastic store in Chippenham. Caroline helped me on shop floor trying to find an item. Jasmine helped me with bread. Also Baker Karina was very knowledgeable about the bakery products and very very helpful and fulfilled my needs. Lady on till, I didn't catch her name was very polite and greeted and parted me. Overall a fantastic experience”

“For years every week I buy food from M and S and did'nt mind it is perhaps more expensive than other places but the quality is good. However recently I am finding this has changed. Their roast potatoes and parmentier potatoes, to name a couple, were really tasty but now they are terrible. Are they using different suppliers or cheap products. I have found this with a few products I have bought for years but now find them inedible and definitely not worth the money.”

“My son gets married in two weeks time and today we went to the store in Torquay to get him kitted out. On arrival at menswear we met Eddy who offered to help. I cannot commend this gentleman enough. He was kind and offered advice when asked was not pushy or forceful but very helpful. Nothing was to much trouble for him and we left totally satisfied with the products so carfully chosen with his help. Such good customer service is very rare in this day and age and was wonderful to experience. My husband as a result also bought and new suit and allied items. Please make Eddy and his line manager of his qualities and how much we appreciate his help”

“I needed some help finding a swimsuit and shorts an t shirt. Dawn at the ladies clothes section Romford, helped me find sizes and colours I wanted and ordered items for me that were not in stock. Her manner was friendly but business-like and as a result I spent a lot of money! But very happy with what I got.”

“Visited Marks and Spencers Chester today to look for full length slip for lace dress was given 5 star service by a lady called Tina who really looked after me and even waited to check in changing room to give me 2nd Opinion as always welcome by us ladies turns out she was a Manager and I can truly understand why her customer service really was above and beyond and I left the store feeling really happy. Well done TINA absolute asset to Marks and Spencer Chester”
