“I shopped in M and S (Craigleith Retail Park Edinburgh) on 23rd of this month. Unable to carry heavy bags due to recent operation I asked at the checkout for help. The staff were so helpful and a very sensible charming girl called Detta pushed my trolley to the car and carefully packed the car. Much appreciated and many thanks”

“I was given excellent assistance by SUE G at Marks and Spencer at 16 East Street Chichester on Friday 13th September in helping me change and select some underwear for my wife who is unwell at this moment of time. Many thanks SUE it was very acceptable.”

“We visited Parc Trostre, Llanelli store on Saturday 31st of August & my husband lost his wallet.The staff here were absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful. One lady in particular (her name began with M and is of Pakistani descent (so sorry that we can't remember her full name)was kind enough to have safely placed it behind her till and in a bag. My husband is so grateful for the kindness shown by her and all of the staff that dealt with him. As always, a super friendly and helpful staff at Trostre M&S. Thank you so much.”

“Took my 13 year old granddaughter for a bra fitting today. It was her first one. From measuring to trying on the whole experience for her was great. We were looked after by Gill very well. My granddaughter was very nervous but was put at ease by Gill. Thank you”

“I visited London at the weekend and went into Westfield at Shepherd’s Bush whilst there went into M&S & was waiting for assistance in children’s wear where I witnessed some outstanding service given by a lady called Kerry. She was serving a gentleman for a boys suit & once he was happy with the suit she took him downstairs to alterations at the same time she asked me not to go anywhere because she would be right back. I left feeling very satisfied with my goods & received a one to one service you don’t normally get in stores”

“Went to M&S Teddington today - in a rush - long day at work - needed to locate items quickly and Michael Piper came to my rescue by navigating me around the store perfectly. He was professional, polite and charming. I cannot speak highly enough of his customer engagement - top marks.”

“Reviews can often be negative as a means of complaint, so I thought I would share my positive experience whilst out with my baby. Firstly, the store is easy to manoeuvre around with a large pushchair, the lifts are not a squeeze and the toilet/nappy facilities as well as space is good. The service in the cafe in the Leckwith site, Cardiff was outstanding. They offered to carry my drink and food to the table, provided hot water to warm baby food and also offered to bring me anything that I needed in order that I could see to my baby without any inconvenience, thank you”

“On a hot day in July what a lovely experience to arrive at your Cafe in Chineham. It was cool and Tracy your amazing Cashier/Barista remembered me from a previous visit, remembered what my usual was. “Having torn a calf muscle and being very restricted I find myself waiting in the café area at Shawham Marks & Spencer‘s, while my wife continued the shopping. The café manager, Sandy, recognised that I was in difficulty, and very kindly brought me a cup of tea as I was incapable of going out to Kew. This kind of service is all too rare In the corporate world, and she is an outstanding example of an excellent ambassador for her business”

“I felt compelled to tell you about a heartwarming visit I had to your store in Southampton. I purchased some items in the food hall and was served by a young lady who had Down’s syndrome. What an amazing woman. I would like to commend you for giving her a position in your store. I have a severely autistic eight year old grandson and it warms my heart to think that when he becomes an adult he might be treated with the respect and help that all disabled people deserve. Well done M&S and thank you”
